Complex symmetry of invertible composition operators
ABSTRACTLet μ be a normal function on . Suppose ϕ is a holomorphic self-map on the unit ball B of . In this paper, the authors characterize the conditions that the composition operator is bounded or compact on the normal weight Zygmund space when n>1. At the same time, the authors give the sufficient and necessary conditions for some special cases.

Reproducing kernels, de Branges-Rovnyak spaces, and norms of weighted composition operators
We prove that the norm of a weighted composition operator on the Hardy space H 2 of the disk is controlled by the norm of the weight function in the de Branges-Rovnyak space as- sociated to the symbol of the composition operator. As a corollary we obtain a new proof of the boundedness of composition operators on H 2 , and recover the standard upper bound for the norm. Sim- ilar arguments apply to weighted Bergman spaces. We also show that the positivity of a generalized de Branges-Rovnyak kernel is sufficient for the boundedness of a given composition operator on the standard functions spaces on the unit ball.

A necessary and sufficient condition is obtained for M‐quasi‐hyponormal composition operators. It has also been proved that the class of M‐quasi‐hyponormal composition operators coincides with the class of M‐paranormal composition operators. Existence of M‐hyponormal composition operators which are not hyponormal; and M‐quasihyponormal composition operators which are not M‐hyponormal and quasi‐hyponormal are also shown.

Let $\varphi,\psi$ be the analytic self-maps of the unit ball ${\mathbb B}$, we characterize the Hilbert-Schmidt differences of two composition operator $C_\varphi$ and $C_\psi$ on weighted Bergman space $A_\alpha^2$, and give some conclusions about the topological structure of $\mathcal{C}(A_\alpha^2)$, the space of all bounded composition operators on $A_\alpha^2$ endowed with operator norm.
Read moreUniform Convexity in Factor and Conjugate Spaces
In a recent series of short papers [2, 3, 41 I have been discussing the relationships of uniform convexity with certain other properties of normed vector spaces. In this paper I propose to discuss relationships between uniform convexity, factor spaces, and conjugate spaces. Because of the large number of special results which are needed for two dimensional spaces-and which are false in general-the paper will be divided into two parts: In Part I (??2-4) B is two dimensional; in Part II (??5-7) this restriction is removed and B may be any normed vector space. To recall the definition, B is said to be uniformly convex if there exists a function 6 such that 0 e, is a modulus of convexity for B. Note that if 51 is nowhere greater than 5, a modulus of convexity for B, then 5l is a modulus of convexity for B. Because of the pointwise nature of the definition of uniform convexity, it is clear that B is uniformly convex with modulus of convexity a if and only if all the two dimensional subspaces of B have the common modulus of convexity 6. One of the most useful results of this investigation (Theorem 5.5) is the complementary fact that B is uniformly convex if and only if all the two dimensional factor spaces of B have a common modulus of convexity. In the study of the effect of uniform convexity of B on the nature of the conjugate space B*, this result makes it possible to reduce the problem to the study of two dimensional spaces. In such a space B uniform convexity is equivalent to strict convexity: that is, a two (or finite) dimensional space is uniformly convex if and only if there does not exist a line segment of positive length all of whose points are of norm one. It has been observed [1, Footnote 13] that such a line segment on the unit sphere is equivalent to the existence of a sharp edge on the unit sphere in B*. The attempt to describe a sharp edge of the unit sphere in a finite dimensional space B in terms of the norm in that space leads to the condition that there exists a k > 0 such that for any e > 0 a pair of points bi and b2 exists such that II b -b2 11 k 11 bl-be 11 . Contradicting this suggests the following condition, a sort of dual concept to uniform convexity. A space B is said to be uniformly flattened if there exists a function v7 positive for 0 < e ? 2 such that lim.b.o 7(e) = 0 while (211 b + b2 11)/i b2 11 < 7(e) if J]b11 = JJ b1 = 1 and 11 bb2 ? || ; 375

Weighted Composition Operators from the Bloch Space and the Analytic Besov Spaces into the Zygmund Space
We provide several characterizations of the bounded and the compact weighted composition operators from the Bloch space and the analytic Besov spaces (with ) into the Zygmund space . As a special case, we show that the bounded (resp., compact) composition operators from , , and to coincide. In addition, the boundedness and the compactness of the composition operator can be characterized in terms of the boundedness (resp., convergence to 0, under the boundedness assumption of the operator) of the Zygmund norm of the powers of the symbol.

Let \Omega be an open subset of \mathbb{R}^n . Let f be a Borel measurable function from \mathbb{R} to \mathbb{R} . We prove necessary and sufficient conditions on f in order that the composite function T_f[g]=f\circ g belongs to a generalized Morrey space \mathcal{M}_p^w(\Omega) whenever g belongs to \mathcal{M}_p^w(\Omega) . Then we prove necessary conditions and sufficient conditions on f in order that the composition operator T_f[{\cdot}] be continuous, uniformly continuous, Hölder continuous and Lipschitz continuous in \mathcal{M}_p^w(\Omega) . We also consider its ‘vanishing’ generalized Morrey subspace \mathcal{M}_p^{w,0}(\Omega) and prove the related results for the composition operator as operator acting from \mathcal{M}_p^{w,0}(\Omega) to \mathcal{M}_p^w(\Omega) and also between the spaces \mathcal{M}_p^{w,0}(\Omega) . For the uniform, Hölder and Lipschitz continuity, we also have conditions that are both necessary and sufficient. We also have both necessary and sufficient conditions for the continuity under certain additional natural assumptions. We also consider the most commonly used Morrey classes that are related to power-type weights in the context of a discussion of some of the conditions that we impose on the weights.

A Spectral Condition for Strong Compactness
An algebra of bounded linear operators on a Banach space is said to be strongly compact if its unit ball is precompact in the strong operator topology, and a bounded linear operator on a Banach space is said to be strongly compact if the algebra with identity generated by the operator is strongly compact. Our interest in this notion stems from the work of Lomonosov on the existence of invariant subspaces. A spectral condition is provided for an operator to be strongly compact and for its commutant to be a strongly compact algebra. This condition is applied to test strong compactness for some classes of operators, namely, bilateral weighted shifts, Cesaro operators, and composition operators. Some tools from function theory like the Mellin transform, the principle of analytic continuation, and the Weierstrass approximation theorem arise naturally in the pursuit of this program.

We present a non-weak supercyclicity criterion for vectors in infinite dimensional Banach spaces. Also, we give sufficient conditions under which a class of weighted composition operators on a Banach space of analytic functions is not weakly supercyclic. In particular, we show that the semigroup of linear isometries on the spaces $S^p$ ($p>1$), is not weakly supercyclic. Moreover, we observe that every composition operator on some Banach space of analytic functions such as the disc algebra or the analytic Lipschitz space is not weakly supercyclic.

This is an introductory print on the basic material in the topic of fractional linear maps. It begins with the classical complex analysis material in the complex plane and in the unit disc and segues into a few such topics in advanced linear algebra, geometric function theory, etc. The efficacy of the material and its inroads into many other aspects of classical complex analysis, from operator theory (composition operators on spaces of analytic functions) to automorphisms of unit balls (in spaces of dimension one to those of infinite dimension) and other topics, is extremely useful and ramified. We hope the reader will find it of interest and possibly pursue one of these topics.

Small Bergman-Orlicz and Hardy-Orlicz spaces, and their composition operators
We show that the weighted Bergman-Orlicz space $A_{\alpha}^{\psi}$ coincides with some weighted Banach space of holomorphic functions if and only if the Orlicz function $\psi$ satisfies the so-called $\Delta^{2}$--condition. In addition we prove that this condition characterizes those $A_{\alpha}^{\psi}$ on which every composition operator is bounded or order bounded into the Orlicz space $L_{\alpha}^{\psi}$. This provides us with estimates of the norm and the essential norm of composition operators on such spaces. We also prove that when $\psi$ satisfies the $\Delta^{2}$--condition, a composition operator is compact on $A_{\alpha}^{\psi}$ if and only if it is order bounded into the so-called Morse-Transue space $M_{\alpha}^{\psi}$. Our results stand in the unit ball of $\mathbb{C}^{N}$.
