Dynamic event-triggered security control for networked T-S fuzzy system with non-uniform sampling

This paper studies the problem of adaptive eventtriggered dynamic output feedback fuzzy control for nonlinear networked control systems. Two crucial factors, packet dropouts and actuator failure, are taken into consideration simultaneously. Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is introduced to describe considered systems. The Bernoulli random distribution process is employed to depict the phenomenon of data missing. The actuator failure model is adopted to depict actuator failure. An innovative adaptive event-triggered strategy is built to save computational resource. In the light of Lyapunov stability theory, a fuzzy dynamic output feedback controller is designed to guarantee the stochastic stability and H <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</sub> performance for considered systems. Finally, simulation results are provided to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed control strategy.

This paper studies the problem of dynamic output feedback H (infinity) control for nonlinear systems, which are described by Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy parts with measurable premise variables and uncertainty parts. The uncertainties are parameter dependent, unknown, and time varying but bounded. A switching fuzzy dynamic output feedback control scheme is proposed, which depends on the measurable premise variables and the bounds of the unknown parameters of the considered system, where the switching mechanism is introduced to handle the unknown parameters. A two-step linear-matrix-inequality-based optimization procedure is developed to design switching fuzzy H (infinity) controllers. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.

For nonlinear space-varying parabolic partial differential equation systems (PPDESs) with random time-varying delay, this article introduces a dynamic fuzzy boundary output feedback (DFBOF) control under noncollocated boundary measurement (NCBM). Initially, the nonlinear delayed PPDESs are represented by Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy models and random time-varying delay is considered by taking the influence of uncertain factors, which belongs to two intervals in a probabilistic way. Since the system state is not fully available and NCBM makes the boundary control design very difficult, a fuzzy observer under NCBM is presented to surmount the design difficulty. Subsequently, an observer-based fuzzy boundary controller is proposed and spatial linear matrix inequality (SLMI)-based sufficient conditions to ensure mean-square exponential stability are obtained for closed-loop delayed PPDESs by utilizing the Lyapunov direct method and Wirtinger inequality. Then, to solve the SLMIs, the feasibility conditions of DFBOF controller design for nonlinear delayed PPDES are expressed in LMIs. Finally, two examples are offered to demonstrate the validity of the presented dynamic fuzzy boundary control approach.

Robust adaptive fuzzy filters output feedback control of strict-feedback nonlinear systemsIn this paper, an adaptive fuzzy robust output feedback control approach is proposed for a class of single input single output (SISO) strict-feedback nonlinear systems without measurements of states. The nonlinear systems addressed in this paper are assumed to possess unstructured uncertainties, unmodeled dynamics and dynamic disturbances, where the unstructured uncertainties are not linearly parameterized, and no prior knowledge of their bounds is available. In recursive design, fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate unstructured uncertainties, and K-filters are designed to estimate unmeasured states. By combining backstepping design and a small-gain theorem, a stable adaptive fuzzy output feedback control scheme is developed. It is proven that the proposed adaptive fuzzy control approach can guarantee the all the signals in the closed-loop system are uniformly ultimately bounded, and the output of the controlled system converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is illustrated by a simulation example and some comparisons.

In this paper, a fuzzy adaptive output feedback control approach is developed for a class of SISO strict-feedback nonlinear systems with unmeasured states, unmodeled dynamics, and dynamical disturbances. In the backstepping recursive design, fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, a fuzzy adaptive high-gain observer is designed to estimate the unmeasured states; a dynamic signal is incorporated into the control scheme to dominate the dynamic uncertainties. Using the states estimates and combining the backstepping design technique, a fuzzy adaptive output feedback control is constructed recursively. It is proved that the proposed fuzzy adaptive output feedback control scheme can guarantee the all signals in the closed-loop system are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded (SUUB), and the observer and tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is illustrated via an example.

This paper investigates network-based output tracking control for a T-S fuzzy system that can not be stabilized by a nondelayed fuzzy static output feedback controller, but can be stabilized by a delayed fuzzy static output feedback controller. By intentionally introducing a communication network that produces proper network-induced delays in the feedback control loop, a stable and satisfactory tracking control can be ensured for the T-S fuzzy system. Due to the presence of network-induced delays, the fuzzy system and the fuzzy tracking controller operate in an asynchronous way. Taking the asynchronous operation and network-induced delays into consideration, the network-based tracking control system is modeled as an asynchronous T-S fuzzy system with an interval time-varying delay. A new delay-dependent criterion for L2 -gain tracking performance is derived by using the deviation bounds of asynchronous normalized membership functions and a complete Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. Applying a particle swarm optimization technique with the feasibility of the derived criterion, a novel design algorithm is presented to determine the minimum L2 -gain tracking performance and control gains simultaneously. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by performing network-based output tracking control of a Duffing-Van der Pol's oscillator.

Event-Triggered Decentralized Dynamic Output Feedback Control for LTI Systems

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy robust output feedback control problem is considered for a class of single-input and single-output nonlinear systems in a strict-feedback form. The considered systems possess the unstructured uncertainties, unknown dead zone, and the dynamics uncertainties, and they do not assume the states being available for the controller design. In the controller design, fuzzy logic systems are first used to approximate the unstructured uncertainties, and by utilizing the information of the bounds of the dead-zone slopes and treating the time-varying inputs coefficients as a system uncertainty, a fuzzy state observer is designed to estimate the unmeasured states. By combining a backstepping technique with a nonlinear small-gain approach, a new adaptive fuzzy robust output feedback control has been developed. It is proved that the proposed fuzzy adaptive control approach can guarantee the semiglobal uniform ultimate boundedness for all the solutions of the closed-loop systems. Simulation studies and comparisons with previous methods are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

In this article, an observer-based fuzzy adaptive inverse optimal output feedback control problem is studied for a class of nonlinear systems in strict-feedback form. The considered nonlinear systems contain unknown nonlinear dynamics and their states are not measured directly. Fuzzy logic systems are applied to identify the unknown nonlinear dynamics and an auxiliary nonlinear system is constructed. Based on this auxiliary system, a fuzzy state observer is first designed to estimate the immeasurable states. By using the inverse optimal principle and adaptive backstepping design theory, an observer-based fuzzy adaptive inverse optimal output feedback control scheme is then developed. The proposed inverse optimal control scheme need not assume that the states are measurable. It also guarantees that the closed-loop system is semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded, and achieves the optimal control objective as well. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to check the validity of the presented control method.

In this paper, the event-triggered dynamic output feedback controller design problem is addressed for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems in network environment. An augmented closed-loop system is constructed and the sufficient conditions to ensure the mean-square asymptotically stability of the closed-loop system with a Hankel-norm performance by considering the event-triggered condition and using the reciprocally convex technique. It is shown that the solution of the fuzzyrule-dependent dynamic output feedback controller parameters can be obtained by variable substitution method. An example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.

This paper investigates the cooperative output regulation problem for heterogeneous linear multiagent systems under fixed communication graphs via event-triggered control. A fully distributed event-triggered dynamic output feedback control law is proposed based on the feedforward design approach. At the same time, a fully distributed dynamic event-triggering mechanism is designed so that each agent can determine when to broadcast its information to its neighbors. Compared with existing related results, both the control law and the event-triggering mechanism in this paper are independent of any global information. It is shown that with the proposed dynamic event-triggered control strategy, the cooperative output regulation problem can be solved in a fully distributed manner by intermittent communication. Moreover, Zeno behavior can be strictly ruled out for each agent. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed dynamic event-triggered control strategy is validated by a numerical example.

In this paper, we present a new scheme to design adaptive fuzzy output-feedback controller for uncertain nonlinear systems in the presence of input saturation. Fuzzy logic systems are utilized to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, and a state filter is designed to estimate unmeasured states. Combining the backstepping recursive design with modular design techniques, a new adaptive fuzzy output control scheme is synthesized. Unlike some existing control schemes for systems with input saturation, the developed controller dose not require assumptions on the states available and nonlinear systems satisfying the matching condition. It is proved that the proposed control approach can guarantee that all the signals of the resulting closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded, and the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. A simulation is included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This paper considers the design problem of dynamic output feedback control for fractional-order (FO) Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with uncertain parameters. Via the application of FO system stability theory, robust control method and the linear matrix inequality techniques, sufficient conditions are given for the stability analysis and the existence of the dynamic fuzzy output feedback controllers. The dynamic output feedback controller designed here guarantees the robust stability of the closed-loop system. Finally, a fractional order chaotic system simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the design approach here.
