Highway Construction and Ecological Environment Protection: Corn Relationship and Key Principle

Natural environment protection compensation refers to the legal system that protects the natural ecological environment, protects the natural environment and makes the beneficiaries of the natural environment get compensation by some means, so as to adjust the interests of the relevant subjects of natural ecological environment protection. This paper discusses the ecosystem service function and its type division of newly built areas in Ganjiang, and the emergy evaluation of ecosystem service function of newly built areas in Ganjiang, establishes the regular scheduling and joint optimal scheduling models of natural ecosystem service value single reservoir, intro-duces the corresponding model solving methods, and applies the ant colony algorithm to the optimal schedule is a lesson. According to the ant colony algorithm, the best way to study the region is to determine these algorithms. Combined with the kernel density analysis method, the spatial scope, potential corridors and key recovery points of ecological corridors are identified, and the optimization mode of natural ecological security pattern of Shule River is constructed. The experimental results show that the optimized ant colony algorithm proves that joint scheduling plays a more prominent role in ecological environment protection, mainly in ecological support and ecological regulation. At the same time, it verifies the applicability of ant colony algorithm in joint scheduling, and improves the average protection efficiency of natural ecology to 20.9%.

Since reform and opening, especially since entering the new century, economy in China has maintained a rapid and healthy development and more and more key hydraulic projects and hydropower stations have present the characteristics of rapid speed, short period and good benefits, but at the same time, they also have bought new challenges for soil and water conservation and ecological environment protection. In the late 1990s, China has instituted a set of laws and regulations on soil and water conservation and ecological environment protection to reinforce environment management in development and construction projects. We were implementing ecological environment construction engineering of soil and water conservation at the same time when the Three Gorges Hydraulic Project on the Yangtze River, Xiaolangdi and Wanjiazhai Hydraulic Projects on the Yellow River, Dachaoshan Hydraulic Project on Lancang River and other key hydraulic projects and hydropower stations were being constructed, and have achieved notable effects. The common characteristics of the soil and water conservation and ecological environment construction of the main key hydraulic projects are: First, making water and soil conservation plans and its special designs at the beginning of major project design. Second, implementing prevention-control measures of water and soil loss when the project was under construction. Third, accepting major project consisted of special acceptance of water and soil conservation engineering, performing the national requirements of the three-simultaneity system between the construction and development projects and the water and soil conservation very well.

In the future, the pursuit of high-quality economic development and a focus on ecological environmental protection in China will inevitably result in significant conflicts between land use and ecological land use. Land use conflicts primarily occur in peri-urban areas characterized by prominent economic development and urban agglomeration. As a municipality situated in the Qin-Ba mountainous region, Ankang has been promoting ecological preservation for a span of two decades. The allocation of construction areas primarily focuses on the proximity of watersheds, while the northern and southern regions are predominantly characterized by mountainous and hilly terrain, thus exhibiting distinct regional attributes. Previous studies have mainly focused on analyzing the effects of land use on habitat quality during intense urbanization, with fewer studies focusing on integrating eco-regions with urbanization to assess changes in habitat quality. However, it is important to recognize that land pressure encompasses economic, ecological, and social aspects. Additionally, it aims to provide insights for the harmonious development of land use in eco-region-oriented cities. Using the SSPs-RCPs scenarios provided by the sixth phase of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6), this paper employs a system analysis method, the emerging Patch-Generating Land Use Simulation model (PLUS) model, Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs (InVEST) model, and Land Use Conflict Measurement model to dynamically simulate the future habitat quality and spatial conflict patterns of land use in Ankang City. The study explores the spatial coupling effect of both factors under different scenarios. The results indicate the following: (1) The overall development trend reveals an intensification of land use conflicts and a decrease in habitat quality. The expansion rate of construction land is increasing and exhibiting aggregation, while agricultural land area is expanding, and forest land area is continuously decreasing. (2) Land use intensity exhibits a significant positive correlation with land conflict levels, while land conflict levels demonstrate a significant negative correlation with habitat quality. (3) Under different future shared socioeconomic path scenarios, land use intensity, and land conflict levels follow the order of SSP585 (high forcing scenario), SSP370 (medium to high forcing scenario), SSP245 (medium forcing scenario), and SSP126 (low forcing scenario), with intensity and conflict decreasing accordingly. These findings suggest that land use has had some impact on the ecological environment, with indications of habitat degradation. Even in Ankang, where ecological development is highly valued, the city will gradually face conflicts between ecological protection and economic development in future scenarios. The city already has the environment at heart, so it will be worse in cities where the priority is economic development. Therefore, it is crucial to allocate sufficient space for economic development while simultaneously prioritizing ecological protection. The results of the study can provide a reference for analyzing the trade-offs between land development and habitat protection in eco-mountainous cities and for eco-cities to avoid falling into the conflict dilemma of economic cities.

The core goal of this article is to deeply explore the value of enterprises' integration into ecological environment protection in business management activities, and to analyze its functions in business strategy, cost control and market competition in detail. On this basis, this article puts forward effective strategies and suggestions to promote the combination of ecological environment protection and enterprise business management. By means of literature review, this article analyzes the opportunities of green business management model in detail, including green products, green services and green supply chain, and discusses the application of environmental protection technology innovation in enterprises and its competitive advantages. It is found that the key way to achieve a win-win situation between economy and environment is to closely combine ecological environmental protection with business management. This article integrates the concept of environmental protection into all aspects of enterprise management, puts forward practical strategies and suggestions, and points out the direction for enterprises to realize green transformation. The conclusion is that the importance of eco-environmental protection in business management will become increasingly prominent, and enterprises should actively respond to environmental protection policies, strengthen environmental management, and promote green transformation.

Functional zoning provides a basis for establishing a regional development layout with clear functions, reasonable division of labor, and complementary advantages. In the process of urban development, a large number of behaviors such as occupying ecological land and generating a lot of pollution cause damage to the urban ecological environment. Functional zoning of the ecological environment has become an important tool used by the local and central governments to establish a harmonious relationship between socio-economic welfare and the ecological environment in recent years. Guided by the concepts and principles of ecological function zoning, this study applies and extends the methodological approach of ecological function zoning to the scale of urban space. Based on consideration of an evaluation of ecological environment sensitivity, ecosystem service function importance, and socio-economic coercion, this paper divides urban space into four types, namely: ecological environment restoration zone, ecological economy bearing zone, ecological environment preservation zone, and ecological environment protection zone, utilizing a mutually exclusive matrix classification. Taking Taizhou in Jiangsu Province as a pilot study, this paper verifies the actual application of a theoretical model and its technicalities, thus advancing the general case for function zoning of the ecological environment. Furthermore, it outlines measures for ecological environment protection and the industrial development orientation of each function area, thus providing a scientific basis for Taizhou’s ecological city development and construction.

With the continuous development and progress of modern society, engineering construction in various fields is also constantly improved. Among them, water conservancy and hydropower engineering are the main guarantee project for the development of modern society. However, large area of earthwork needs to be constructed in the construction process of water conservancy and hydropower engineering. In order to effectively solve the impact of water conservancy and hydropower engineering on the ecological environment in the construction process, in order to promote the construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects and provide a good impetus for the work of ecological environment protection, it is necessary to analyze and study the actual impact and formulate scientific and reasonable solutions. Based on this, this paper will analyze the impact of water conservancy and hydropower projects on the ecological environment, and then work out the construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects and ecological environment protection measures, and finally provide a good guarantee for the smooth construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects and the protection of the ecological environment.

With the rapid development of tourism, eco-tourism has become an important development direction of tourism. The tourism resources and environmental conditions of small summer resorts determine that small summer resorts are ideal places to develop ecotourism, but the ecological environment of small summer resorts is extremely fragile. Therefore, in the development of ecotourism, the development of small summer resorts must take the protection of ecological environment and ecotourism resources as the premise and the development of ecotourism products as the basic idea. This paper attempts to study the ecological environment and ecological planning of small summer resorts from the perspective of user experience. This paper analyzes the ecological aesthetic characteristics of small summer resorts from the aspects of natural landscape, landscape architecture and ecological environment, in order to broaden the research horizon of small summer resorts. Especially, the plant arrangement and management of small summer resorts are the key to protect the ecological environment of small summer resorts, and must take into account the landscape aesthetics and the natural laws of the ecosystem.

Does China's Yangtze River Economic Belt policy impact on local ecosystem services?

The comprehensive application of ecosystem service value (ESV) and ecological risk index (ERI) assessment can provide better decision support for regional ecological environment protection. Based on the remote sensing image data of Wuhu city of 1995, 2005 and 2016, the paper analyzed the spatial-temporal evolution of ESV and ERI in Wuhu city and its associated characteristics using an ESV, ERI assessments and a bivariate spatial autocorrelation method. The results showed that (1) the total ESV of Wuhu city continued to decline from 1995 to 2016, with a decrease of US$ 363.664 million. The total ESV per unit area of the sampling plot decreased, and the high-value was mainly distributed in areas within 5–10 km along the Yangtze River floodplain. (2) Wuhu city was mainly dominated by a relatively low ERI and medium ERI from 1995 to 2016. The high-value areas were mainly distributed in the mainstream of the Yangtze River, and the overall ERI improved. (3) There was a positive spatial correlation between the total ESV per unit area and ERI in Wuhu city, and these areas were mainly distributed in the Yangtze River mainstream region. According to this research, it is necessary to pay attention to the protection of wetland and forest landscapes, strengthen wetland ecological protection based on the Yangtze River and protect and restore natural mountain forests, all of which play important roles in improving the ecosystem service function of Wuhu city and protecting the ecological environment of the Yangtze River. We should act on that knowledge, and produce effective environmental regulations and habitat restoration efforts that improve the ESV and reduce the ERI. The findings of the study can serve as a reference for the management and protection of ecological environments in river-crossing cities.

As the mother river of southern xinjiang, the tarim river is the lifeline of the economy, natural ecology and the lives of people of all ethnic groups in the southern xinjiang oasis. Alar city is located in the upper reaches of the tarim river, with arid climate, scarce precipitation throughout the year, strong evaporation, lack of water resources, and fragile ecological environment. The deterioration of the water quality in the tarim river basin, the sandification of the revetment, the serious soil erosion, and the deteriorating ecological environment have become the main factors restricting the sustainable development of the social economy and ecological environment of alar city. This research investigates the current situation of the ecological environment of the tarim river basin, and makes the following research on the alar section of the tarim river through GIS spatial analysis:( 1 ) Construct an ecological corridor in the study area;( 2 ) Designate an ecological protection zone; ( 3 ) Shaping the pattern of water ecological security; (4) The task of ecological restoration is determined in order to provide a theoretical basis and scientific basis for the comprehensive development and utilization of resources in the tarim river basin, soil and water conservation, and ecological environment protection.

Tourists play a crucial role in the development of traditional villages, not only as participants in cultural heritage preservation and ecological environment protection but also as key drivers of sustainable tourism development. This study aims to explore how tourists’ travel motivations, perceived values, and sense of place identity influence their attitudes and intentions toward the ecological tourism development of traditional villages, thereby providing new perspectives for the planning and construction of village living environments under the guidance of ecological wisdom principles. Focusing on traditional villages in ethnic regions of China, this study constructs a theoretical model that integrates travel motivations, perceived values, sense of place, positive attitudes, and behavioral intentions, analyzing the interrelationships among these factors. The results reveal that, among the factors directly influencing tourists’ behavioral intentions, travel motivations, place attachment, and positive attitudes exert the most significant impact, followed by place identity, cultural perceived value, and functional perceived value. This study explores how the integration of community interaction and ecological protection can promote the capitalization of local cultural assets and sustainable cultural development, providing new perspectives for the planning and construction of traditional village living environments under the guidance of ecological wisdom principles.

Despite rapid development in response research of land use to ecosystem service values (ESV), there is little attention to the influence of ecological construction at a local scale with an empirical study. Based on land use data from two Chinese land surveys, this study attempted to assess ESV from the dual perspectives of urbanization and ecological protection with the primary data-based approach from 1996 to 2018 in Wuhan, central China. We found that the ESV increased from 119.32 billion yuan to 220.29 billion yuan during 1996 – 2018, with an average annual growth rate of 1.27%, 3.86%, 3.49%, 2.97%, and 1.87% during the periods 1996 – 2000, 2000 – 2005, 2005 – 2010, 2010 – 2015, and 2015 – 2018, respectively. The conversion of other land use types to forest and water bodies was the main reason for the increase in ESV. The analysis results could be helpful to provide a new way to create policies pertaining to city development and ecological environment protection in typical rapid urbanization regions.

In this work, the network data envelopment analysis (DEA) model was used to divide the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in colleges and universities into two stages, which makes up for the lack of process measurement in a single DEA model. Also, the relationship between the transformation efficiency of scientific and technological achievements in universities and the development of a low-carbon economy was quantitatively analyzed. The research results show that: (1) the transformation efficiency of scientific and technological achievements of universities in China is increasing year by year and which is significantly higher in the eastern region than that in the central and western regions. (2) The efficiency of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of the university promotes the reduction of carbon emission intensity and the development of a low-carbon economy, indicating that the improvement of the transformation efficiency of scientific and technological achievements of the university has a good role in promoting the ecological environment protection. However, compared with the developed countries, the quantity and quality of science and technology supply and ecological environment protection in China’s universities are still insufficient. In this regard, the development suggestions are put forward from the aspects of government policy guidance, professional talent cooperation and strengthening the docking between universities and industrial low-carbon economic development. The purpose of this paper is to promote the development of a low-carbon economy by improving the efficiency of scientific and technological achievements transformation in universities, to achieve the goal of ecological environment protection.

The northern Tianshans region in the arid zone of northwestern China plays a key role in promoting high-quality development of the ecological environment. In recent years, ecological environmental protection in this region has encountered major challenges due to the dual impacts of human activities and natural changes. In order to accurately assess the current status of the ecological environment in the northern Tianshans, this study analyzed the spatial and temporal changes in land use and ecological and environmental effects using land use data from 2000 to 2020 and explored the current status of land use, land use dynamic process, and ecosystem service value (ESV) in the region. Two-factor spatial autocorrelation analysis revealed the spatio-temporal characteristics of the value changes over the 20-year period as well as their spatial heterogeneity. The results show that: (1) land use changes are dominated by increases in cultivated land, forest land, watershed, and wetland, and decreases in grassland, glacier snow, and bare land. Of these changes, the expansion of cultivated land area is the most significant, showing a total increase of 1136.13 × 103 hm2. (2) The ESV increased and then decreased, reaching the highest value in 2005 and the lowest in 2020. The value of individual ecosystem services is dominated by regulating services, accounting for about 67% of the total value. (3) The overall regional balance of ecological environment quality and the contribution rate of the conversion from bare land to other land types is as high as 82.7986%, constituting the main factor in regional ecological environment improvement. The spatial distribution pattern exhibits the characteristic of “high in the northeast and low in the southwest”. (4) There is a positive correlation between the ESV, the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), and the Anthropogenic Impact Composite Index, with the NDVI being the main cause of spatial heterogeneity in the ESV. The research results provide a scientific basis for ecological protection, land management, and policy formulation in the northern foothills of the Tianshan Mountains and are of great significance for promoting regional sustainable development.

The terrestrial ecosystem plays an important role in maintaining an ecological balance, protecting the ecological environment, and promoting the sustainable development of human beings. The impacts of precipitation, temperature, and other natural factors on terrestrial ecosystem pattern change (TEPC) are the basis for promoting the healthy development of the terrestrial ecosystem. This paper took the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) as the study area, analyzed the temporal and spatial characteristics of TEPC from 1995 to 2015, and used spatial transfer matrix and terrestrial ecosystem pattern dynamic degree models to analyze the area transformation between different terrestrial ecosystem types. A bivariate spatial autocorrelation model and a panel data regression model were used to study the impacts of precipitation and temperature on TEPC. The results show that: (1) The basic pattern of the terrestrial ecosystem developed in a relatively stable manner from 1995 to 2005 in the YREB, and transformations between the farmland ecosystem, forest ecosystem, and grassland ecosystem were more frequent. The temporal and spatial evolution of precipitation and temperature in the YREB showed significant regional differences. (2) There was a significant negative bivariate global spatial autocorrelation effect of precipitation and temperature on the area change of the forest ecosystem, and a positive effect on the area change of the settlement ecosystem. The local spatial correlation between precipitation or temperature and the terrestrial ecosystem showed significant scattered distribution characteristics. (3) The impacts of precipitation and temperature on TEPC showed significant regional characteristics on the provincial scale. The impact utility in the tail region is basically negative, while both positive and negative effects exist in the central and head regions of the YREB. Moreover, the impact showed significant spatial heterogeneity on the city scale. (4) The Chinese government has promulgated policies and measures for strategic planning, ecological environment protection, and economic support, which could effectively promote ecological and sustainable development of the YREB and promote the coordinated development of the ecology, economy, and society in China.
