Implementasi Framework Codeigniter Pada Perancangan Chatbot Interaktif Menerapkan Metode Waterfall

Aim/Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore why students do not choose to study In-formation Systems. Background Demand for information technology (IT) and information systems (IS) employees and managers has been increased, with the widespread use of information technologies. IT skills shortage is a concern for industries and higher education institutions. The findings of this study can help understanding why students do not choose to study Information Systems. Methodology: This study used an online survey for data collection. The survey link was emailed to 609 undergraduate students at the University of Agder in Kristian-sand, Norway. 62 useable responses were used for analysis. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, and t-test were used for data analysis. Contribution: This study provides the results of a survey exploring why students do not choose to study Information Systems at a Norwegian university. Findings: The most indicated reason by the respondents for not choosing to study Information Systems was “little or no knowledge about IS”, followed by “lack of interest in the IS field.” Job availability was identified as the most motivating factor for the participant students in choosing to study their pro-grams at the university. The participants of this study did not consider In-formation Systems as easy to study. Recommendations for Practitioners: Candidate students should be given sufficient information about Information Systems study program and how it differs from other IT-related study pro-grams should be explained well. There is a need to better promote Information Systems study programs to candidate students. Future Research: Future studies should explore the factors impacting enrolment to Information Systems study programs with larger sample sizes and in different universities. Qualitative studies can help a deeper understanding of students’ career decisions. Future studies can also consider comparative studies in different countries.

The final assignment is a scientific paper, in the form of writing research results that must be completed by each student to get a bachelor's degree. In the Department of Industrial Engineering there are several stages of the process that must be done by students, including registration of supervisors, seminar proposals and final hearings. So far the registration is still using google form where it is only limited to registration, and for the final assignment guidance report has not been recorded properly and done manually using the assistance sheet in the thesis logbook so the final assignment supervisor and coordinator has difficulty monitoring the student's guidance. The purpose of this study is to build a website-based system using the codeigniter framework and the waterfall method. The stages passed in the waterfall method include needs analysis, system design, implementation and system testing. The MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) policy is motivated to prepare students to know social, cultural, world of work and technological advances that have been so rapid. Competence of students must be prepared to answer the needs of the times. Link and match activities are one of the strategies used, not only with the business world and the industrial world, but also with a future that is changing so rapidly. Information Systems Study Program has implemented several programs contained in the guidelines for the implementation of the Independent Learning Campus, although on a limited scale, namely the cross-study student exchange program and the Internship program. It is necessary to make adjustments to the programs that have been implemented in Study Program to adjust the curriculum of the study program and to survey the academic community. This survey needs to be carried out to find out how far the responses, responses and knowledge of the academic community towards MBKM activities. From the results of the survey, the Study Program followed up by designing an information system for the development and strengthening of the results of the academic community for MBKM activities in the form of a Software Requirement Specification. With this Information System Design, it is hoped that it will provide convenience for the development of the Integrated MBKM information system so that it can provide convenience for the academic community in carrying out MBKM activities within the Study Program environment and also to support MBKM governance and management.

In tertiary institutions, students become one of the important parameters in the evaluation of study program organizers. Prediction of student graduation is a special concern to know, early identification for students is needed as an important action. Information processing to predict student graduation is by implementing data mining. The implementation of data mining can be applied if a university, especially a study program, does not yet have an early classification in achieving student graduation on time. The ITTP Information System study program is one of the study programs that does not have an early identification of student graduation on time. Determination of graduation for SI ITTP Study Program students includes GPA, TOEFL scores, and total credits. The purpose of this research is to find out which attributes have the most influence in predicting graduation of ITTP IS Study Program students. The method used in this prediction is by using the classification of the C4.5 Algorithm and Naïve Bayes. The classification is used to determine which attributes have an effect on predicting student graduation on time and to compare the two classification methods. The results obtained are the training set size 70% which has the best accuracy when compared to other training set sizes. Comparing the accuracy between the two methods, it is known that the C4.5 algorithm has good accuracy when training set size is 70% and Naïve Bayes has higher accuracy when training set size is 75%. Decision tree C4.5 interprets that the most influential attribute is the GPA as the root of the decision tree to predict student graduation on time. The research is expected to be used as a reference for the ITTP IS Study Program in formulating student graduation policies on time and as a reference for further researchers in predicting in the same field.

The growing development of information technology makes information technology a very important resource for government and private organizations. The same applies to the university environment in student services. Amikom Purwokerto University is one of the many tertiary institutions that has implemented a web-based academic information system, including in one of its study programs, namely Information Systems. Based on interviews conducted by researchers with one of the lecturers in the Information Systems Study Program at Amikom University, Purwokerto, several problems were identified, such as the lack of regular updating of data and information on the website, the appearance of the website which was less attractive, and the lack of available content. Then, so that the company can be ready to compete with other similar websites, it is necessary to analyze the quality of the website, one of which is using the WebQual 4.0 method which is then assessed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires with 3 WebQual 4.0 variables based on the level of performance and the level of user expectations for the 85 samples that have been determined by calculating the Slovin formula. The data obtained is then assessed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which produces recommendations to companies for actions that need to be taken on the website in order to improve and maintain the quality of the website. The results of the GAP analysis obtained 9 variables with positive values and 13 variables with negative values. While the results of the IPA analysis obtained variables that have been grouped into 4 quadrants, with 1 variable being the main priority, namely UQ8.

The 3M protocol (washing hands, wearing masks and keeping a distance) makes community services that interact directly with the community must be limited. The creation of a Web-based E-village is intended to assist in improving village community services, namely services related to writing letters and information about villages, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. E-viilage is a web-based application developed using an open source application, namely the Codeigniter framework with the MVC model (Model View and Control). The method of research and system development in this study uses the Waterfall model which includes needs analysis, system design, writing program code, program testing, program implementation and maintenance. This application was built using Visual Studio Code with PHP programming language and Codeigniter Framework and supported by MySQL Database. The conculsion of this study are: (1) Web-based E-village application has been produced at the Pesisir Besuki Village Office. (2) This application can help and facilitate community service, namely writing services at the Pesisir Besuki Village Office, from external test results with proper status an 79.2%

Practical courses in the laboratory are scheduled according to the institutional curriculum. In determining the choice of practice courses, the STMIK Royal Kisaran information system study program requires a system of analysis in the selection of practical subjects that provide the best choices based on the required criteria. Priority criteria are important data in the process of determining the selection of the course. This is needed to gain knowledge for study programs in the use of schedules and choice of priority practice courses. This research is a continuation of factor analysis in the selection of practice subjects where the information system study program uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. From the results of the analysis, it is obtained the selection of priority practice courses from several alternatives that can be useful for study programs based on priority criteria.

In the current digital era, the quality of website services is a crucial factor in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of information systems, including the Information Systems Study Program Field Work Information System (SIPKL) at Universitas Terbuka. However, currently there is no in-depth evaluation of the quality of SIPKL services from a user perspective. This research aims to review the service quality of the SIPKL website as a whole and measure the level of user satisfaction with the services provided. To achieve this goal, the WebQual 4.0 method is used which measures three main dimensions of service quality, namely usability, information quality, and interaction quality. In addition, the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method is applied to evaluate the importance and performance of each service attribute being measured, so as to identify areas that require improvement. Data was collected through a survey with 100 respondents from Information Systems study program students who had used the SIPKL website. The research results show a value of 101.6% for the level of conformity, which indicates that the SIPKL website service performance has met or even exceeded user expectations and interests. Meanwhile, the gap value is categorized as "Good" with a positive value of 0.08 or >0. Indicators that require improvement are in quadrants II and III. Overall, this research provides strategic recommendations for SIPKL website managers to improve service quality so that it is more optimal in supporting students' needs in undergoing PKL.

Learning is a process that is carried out by each individual from not knowing to knowing, or from bad behavior to being good, so that it has a good change for the individual, Each individual has a learning type in receiving the material presented by the teacher, but not all individuals understand what type of learning they need, The purpose of the research is to determine the type of learning of the students of the Faculty of Computer Science. The method used is nave Bayes for the accuracy of its calculations. The results of this study are the classification of visual learning types as many as 50 people, for audio as many as 24 people, while kinesthetic as many as 25 people, for the Informatics Engineering Study Program as many as 61, consists of 37 visual learning types, Auditory 14 people, Kinesthetic 10 people, While the Information Systems Study Program is 37 people, where is Visual 14 people, Auditory 9 people and Kinesthetic 14 people. With this classification, it can help lecturers apply learning methods that are suitable for their students. The best Naïve Bayes accuracy rate is 88.89%

The iGracias Information System is an application owned by Telkom University used as a medium for disseminating campus information widely and quickly, as well as helping all Telkom university's entities to obtain the latest information regarding class activities. One of the most important processes in iGracias for lecturers is in the learning process. Starting from inputting lecture attendance, printing attendance lists, submitting BAP (Evidence of Study Implementation), printing lecture portfolios, and learning evaluations. In 2020, according to data obtained from PuTI (Information Technology Center) Telkom University, there were 50,407 access logs in iGracias related to lecturing process in the Information Systems study program. The existence of a very frequent access frequency and an important activity of iGracias, it is necessary to analyze and improve the lecturing process at iGracias in order to increase the effectiveness of iGracias Telkom University time and activities. The redesign process will be carried out using the Bizagi Modeler tool. The simulation result of business process exiting shows the time takes 290,9494445 hours and the utilization of lecturers on existing business processes is 0.04%. Meanwhile the business process targeting only takes 290,381111166667 hours for one process and the utilization of lecturers on targeting business processes is 0.03%.

Yayasan Panti Asuahan Hrapan Karomah is a social institution or non-profit institution that has the responsibility to provide social welfare services to the children of the residents of the orphanage. Therefore, the manager of the orphanage must be able to manage the orphanage properly, one of which is in terms of financial management. Currently, the Harapan Karamah orphanage is in the process of recording both revenues and expenses using a manual system. A manual system causes many errors of risks. Therefore, to minimize the risks that exist and also facilitate the financial management of the orphanage, a computerized information system is needed. In addition, it can also make it easier for the manager of the orphanage and also donors to monitor and evaluate the orphanage's finances which can be accessed quickly and at any time. This study aims to create a website-based financial administration information system. The software development method used is the Waterfall method which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. The development of this system uses the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and the CodeIgniter framework. The result of this research is an information system that can be used to process data and financial data reports. Based on the test results, the system being developed can run according to its function.

E-learning adalah pembelajaran yang disusun dengan tujuan menggunakan sistem elektronik atau komputer sehingga mampu mendukung proses pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan e-learning sebagai teknologi pendidikan menghasilkan pembelajaran efektif dan efisien yang nyata dan berhasil melalui dukungan LMS. LMS adalah perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk membuat materi pembelajaran online berbasiskan web (e-learning) dan mengelola kegiatan pembelajaran serta hasil-hasilnya. Manfaat LMS yang dirasakan dalam penggunaan LMS selama ini adalah proses kedisiplinan dan kemandirian peserta didik yang makin meningkat. Dengan menggunakan LMS, penilaian menjadi terbuka dan adil bagi setiap peserta didik, karena sumber materi dan tugas bisa diakses setiap saat serta memiliki aturan-aturan tersendiri. LMS mempunyai fitur-fitur standar yaitu: (1) Uploading and sharing material; (2) Forum and Chat; (3) Kuis dan Survei; (4) Gathering and reviewing assignment dan (5) Recording grades. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu mengimplementasikan e-learning berbasis LMS pada Program Studi Sistem Informasi UKMC. LMS yang diimplementasikan menggunakan Dokeos. Implementasi LMS Dokeos pada Program Studi Sistem Informasi telah terlaksana pada Semester Ganjil dan Genap tahun akademik 2018/2019 dengan mata kuliah yang tergabung sekitar sepuluh mata kuliah. Semua fungsionalitas fitur pada Dokeos telah digunakan.

Improvement of grades is a lecture process carried out in a short time outside the regular schedule which is intended to provide opportunities for students to improve their poor grades. In this era of globalization, it is very important that the need for accurate, precise and fast information in presenting very complete data is one of the important goals. For this reason, computers play an active role in all fields, especially in the Information System study program and computers make information will make things easier. The internet is a series or network of interconnected computers which comes from the word interconnected networking. Internet is a global network that connects a network with other networks around the world.

The fourth industrial revolution has brought significant changes in various sectors, and education has been greatly affected by technological advances. Automation, particularly in data processing, has simplified educational processes, particularly in managing student grade data. However, the increasing volume of data poses challenges in efficient processing. This research explores the application of K-Means clustering, a data mining technique, to cluster student grade data. This research uses the Elbow Method to determine the optimal number of clusters. The dataset, sourced from the Information Systems Study Program at the Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto, includes attributes such as Credits Taken, GPA, Number of Ds, Number of Es, and Credits Not Taken. The results identified three groups of students: "High Achievers," "Average Performance," and "Needs Improvement." Recommendations include academic challenges for high performers, better learning methods for average performers, and remedial programs for those who need improvement. This research demonstrates the efficacy of K-Means clustering in improving educational strategies and support systems based on student characteristics.

This study aims to describe and analyze how the flipped classroom learning model design in Computer Network Security learning in Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science. This study aims to design and develop a flipped classroom model to improve 21st century learning ability (4C).The type of development method used is Research and Development (R & D). The development procedure used is 4-D, and is part of the development stage of a learning model. The type of data used is primary data where data is obtained directly from universities, lecturers, experts and students. The results of research based on needs analysis and literature reviews have produced a flipped classroom model design, and based on the results of expert validation it can be concluded that the website-based flipped classroom design is considered quality to measure student competency achievement consisting of menu material, student recap, questions, concept understanding, assessment self, character values, and recap values. Based on the validation results of all the design indicators for the flipped classroom model which were assessed by the validator from the aspects of the feasibility of the content, the language of the instruments, and the feasibility of the graphic aspects of the valid and feasible categories for testing.
