This research is entitled Quality Management of Islamic Education at Athirah Bukit Baruga Islamic High School and Al-Azhar 12 Islamic High School Makassar which aims to (1) Plan Islamic Education Quality Management at Athirah Bukit Baruga Islamic High School and Al-Azhar 12 Islamic High School Makassar (2) Implement Quality Management of Islamic Education at Athirah Bukit Baruga Islamic High School and Al-Azhar 12 Islamic High School Makassar (3) and Evaluating the Quality Management of Islamic Education at Athirah Bukit Baruga Islamic High School and Al-Azhar 12 Islamic High School Makassar. This research is qualitative descriptive research using observation, interview, and documentation methods. While what is used is (juridical, management, phenomenological, and sociological approaches). Selection of research subjects through purposive sampling, namely determining certain people as data sources, namely the head of the madrasah, wakamad, and teachers for each subject. Furthermore, the data obtained is analyzed on an ongoing basis, namely, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Quality Management of Islamic Education at Athirah Bukit Baruga Islamic High School and Al-Azhar 12 Islamic High School Makassar began with quality education planning which had two important meanings, namely program planning and intra and extra activities by the two Athirah Bukit Baruga Islamic High Schools. and SMA Islam Al-Azhar 12 Makassar, program planning must be followed by an implementation which includes five components through student management, curriculum management, management of educators and education staff, management of facilities and infrastructure, cost management. and curriculum management must be directed so that the learning process in the classroom runs smoothly and efficiently so that it can achieve the desired goals. Evaluation of quality education management carried out by the principal of the deputy head of school and education staff, together as a community of educators and implemented into the curriculum through self-development programs (routine school activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary, and conditioning), integration in subjects, and through the school culture. To survive in a highly-competitive higher education sector, institutions of higher learning are focusing on quality management principles. Therefore, a strong need emerges for a deeper understanding of quality management. Despite a substantial, growing interest from scholars, policymakers, and educationalists in quality management as a common phenomenon in higher education, many obstacles remain in the implementation process. This chapter captures the worldwide quality issues and a controversy related to implementation of quality management in higher education, identifies the barriers for successful implementation of quality management in higher education, reviews the key barriers that deter the efforts to effectively execute quality management in higher education so that quality management strategies can be formulated by the top management and policymakers accordingly, and presents directions for future research.

The study first examines the concept of digital quality management in higher education, and is aimed at featuring the theoretical justification and practical implementation of digital quality management of education at the university level. A fundamental difference between digital quality management and traditional quality management is shown. The authors present and describe the features and advantages of the developed technology of interactive intellectual environment, which is the basis of digital management. The functionality of quality management in higher education is revealed on the basis of a participative synergistic approach. The practical significance of the study lies in the introduction of an interactive intellectual environment into the higher education system, which enables the effective digital management of the quality of education. The main results comprise building an individual learning trajectory, depending on the diagnosed abilities and intelligence of each student, as well as conditioning students’ research competencies as a means of improving the quality of higher education. Further development of this topic is seen in the study of the cultural aspects of interaction in the educational process, implemented in digital management.

The progress of universities is measured by the amount they provide to serve their societies. The progress of peoples is measured by the extent of success of their educational institutions to achieve sustainable development and the overall renaissance in various fields and sectors. Therefore, the interest in developing higher education institutions and studying of ways to achieve their developmental role is of importance. The aim of the current research is to achieving total quality management in university education to achieving sustainable development and in order to achieve this goal, we have reviewed previous studies and research related to the current study’s subject. The research has adopted the quasi-experimental method for conducting an exploratory study to determine the current status of total quality management for the study sample, and to prepare a questionnaire for total quality management in education and sustainable development. For checking validity and reliability of this research, the study is applied on a sample of (300) students as the experimental group, selected from Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University. The study comes to a number of results, the most important of which are: There is a significant statistically significant effect of the total quality standards in university education on achieving sustainable development. From this major result, the following minor results are derived: There is a statistically significant effect of total quality standards on the environmental dimension. There is a statistically significant effect of the total quality standards on the social dimension and there is a statistically significant effect of the total quality standards on the economic dimension. The most important recommendations of this research are as follows: The total quality standards and sustainable development should be incorporated into the curricula of universities to produce a conscious generation of the importance of total quality management. Also, the efforts of the state agencies should collaborate and activate the monitoring role and follow-up on universities and ensuring their commitment. Setting a comprehensive strategy that includes owners of industrial establishments to be subjected to environmental training and occupational safety and put it within the licensing requirements to ensure the preparation of an environmentally friendly facility. Finally, the media campaigns should raise awareness about total quality management and sustainable development within universities.

The article is devoted to the analysis of modern demands of education quality management in the conditions of higher education institution operation. The methodological basis of the study is the concept of management, based on a system of philosophical and general scientific doctrines about the quality of education and its specifics in higher education, the concept of personality-oriented learning, systems theory, modeling and development. The authors systematized methodological approaches to modeling the quality management system of education in higher education. The study developed a model of quality management, which is presented at the levels of: subsystems of management approaches, theoretical and methodological foundations, the value of the components and factors of education of different nature; defined a system of principles of internal quality management of higher education, aimed at performing a regulatory function at the general scientific, strategic, practice-oriented, technical, specific scientific and factor levels; an algorithm for building an education quality management system in a higher education institution is presented. It is shown that the quality management of education should be carried out at levels that ensure the manufacturability of the process, the possibility of its improvement with further analysis of the results and the adoption of appropriate management decisions.

The implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in Islamic education has become a crucial issue for improving service quality, learning, and institutional governance amid the challenges of globalization and the digital era. This study aims to explore the implementation of TQM in Islamic educational institutions and identify the barriers and their contribution to improving educational quality. The research method is a descriptive, qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis across several Islamic schools and madrasas that have implemented TQM. The results show that although TQM has excellent potential to improve educational quality, its implementation is still hampered by a hierarchical organizational culture, a mismatch between modern managerial principles and Islamic educational culture, and limited infrastructure and human resources. This study concludes that to increase the effectiveness of TQM in Islamic education, there needs to be a more contextual and adaptive adjustment to the management model, as well as the strengthening of the integration of Islamic values across all managerial aspects. The contribution of this research is the development of a TQM model grounded more in Islamic moral and spiritual values.

This article highlights the importance of quality management in the education sector and discusses the necessity of a strategic approach to achieve continuous improvement and success. He states that the education sector operates in a complex and rapidly changing environment today. For this reason, institutions need to adopt a quality-oriented approach in order to maintain their competitive advantage and to offer the best education to their students. At this point, the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) comes into play. This research highlights the importance of a strategic approach to how TQM can be applied in education. TQM is a management philosophy that encourages the participation of the entire organization and continuous improvement. The article focuses on leadership, customer orientation, continuous improvement, participation and collaboration, data and information management, which are the five basic principles of TQM. The article also presents strategic steps on how TQM can be applied in educational institutions. These include determining the corporate vision, measuring student satisfaction, analyzing and improving processes, ensuring employee participation, and establishing data and information management processes. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the importance of Total Quality Management in education and reveals the necessity of a strategic approach for continuous improvement and success. Educational institutions should adopt the principles of TQM, create a quality-oriented culture and focus on constantly improving themselves. As an educational leader at the unit level, the principal has a strong leadership foundation and is responsible for the success or failure of the school he supervises. Analysis of the principal's function in educational quality management, analysis of the principal's role in its implementation, and identification of elements that facilitate and hinder the implementation of educational quality management are the objectives of this study. This study is descriptive qualitative, and data analysis techniques include reduction, triangulation, presentation, and verification/conclusion. The findings of this study include (1) The Principal's Function in Organizing Educational Quality Management (a) Steps taken to improve educational quality, such as developing plans for student academic progress, building a rich learning environment in schools, fostering a leadership mindset among all academic and non-academic staff, improving learning, and supervising all academic and non-academic staff (2) The Principal's Role in Implementing Educational Quality Management (a) Making Policies on Educational Quality, (b) Tracking and Assessment, (c) Human resource development, (d) resource management, (e) stakeholder involvement and communication, (f) problem solving, and (g) empowerment of the management team, (h) Continuous Improvement The implementation of educational quality management is influenced by enabling and inhibiting factors. (a) Enabling factors include effective leadership, stakeholder involvement, sufficient resources, training and development, supportive organizational culture, collaboration and cooperation, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. (b) barriers, such as scarce resources and an unfriendly corporate culture.

This paper aims to investigate an important aspect of quality management in education - teacher leadership styles - as practiced by Greek secondary education teachers. A survey questionnaire was used based on a model developed by Giannias and Sfakianaki in 2016, which progresses the research originally undertaken by Blake and Mouton. A sample of 138 teachers provided their perceptions on the leadership styles they adopt. The study integrates leadership and quality management theories and explores teacher leadership styles in the Greek secondary educational system. Teachers can use their personal results for self-assessment and reflection as part of the total quality management process.

Purpose: This research aims to determine the digitalization-based education quality management system at Prof. K. H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto and Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University Cilacap, so various challenges can be found in implementing the digitalization system for education quality management at these two universities. Methods: This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. This research involves data analysis which includes compiling, categorizing and combining data to form a pattern of education quality management in digital-based higher education at Islamic State University (UIN) Prof. K. H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto and Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University Cilacap. Result and Conclusion: The result is the digitization of education quality management at the Prof. State Islamic University. K. H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto and Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University Cilacap have proven positive steps towards efficiency and effectiveness in education management, even though they still face obstacles such as weak human resource management and limited infrastructure. The success of digitalization is very dependent on the ability and capacity of human resources, so continuous efforts are needed such as increasing competence through training and development. Research Implications: The urgency of digitizing management in higher education is absolutely necessary, especially UIN Prof. K. H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto needs to continue to be promoted, especially information technology, human resources who are experts in the field of information technology, so that good digital literacy from all levels in students, educational staff and lecturers. There is a need to digitize through publications such as social media in the form of Instagram, TikTok, Flayer and everything that is digital based. However, for Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University, Cilacap, maintenance or maintenance processes are still needed so that it can be ascertained whether an asset can function properly or recover, the distribution of levels is not yet perfect, there are still some lecturers who may not be familiar with accessing the system used, and sources. limited power. For this reason, academic leaders must try to motivate, mobilize, remind lecturers, always improve the system so that their desires can be achieved, increase the use of more contemporary or modern systems and increase human resources by sending teaching staff, especially for academic digitalization services. Originality/ Value: This study offers original insights into digitalization of higher education quality management is very necessary in improving all services at higher education, both state and private universities in Indonesia.

This article aims to highlight some aspects of quality management implemented at schools whose objective is to deliver quality teaching to their students. First, we will provide a definition of quality management at schools and of the rule of 4C's in management. Thereafter, we will discuss quality standards and indicators at schools, knowing that in order to provide quality education programs, certain conditions are to be fulfilled. Finally, we will examine the challenges involved in the implementation of total quality management in education that were referred to by several scholars before concluding with answers to our research questions.

In the article the problem of education quality management was considered in the context of general scientific methodology. The modern tendencies of implementation of higher education quality and quality management in particular, were highlighted. It is shown that the practice of implementation of quality management systems, such as the Total Quality Management, positively affects the organizational, market and financial strategies for the formation of long-term competitive advantages in higher education sphere. The modern interpretation of the essence and basic principles of education quality management was revealed. The methodological substantiation of the phenomenon of education quality management in the context of general scientific approaches was carried out: systemic, synergistic and acmeological. Such an approach makes it possible to substantiate the quality management as a complex, open system characterized by nonlinearity of transformations, allows to predict its development, proceeding from the development of each individual to the whole system as a whole. It is proved that methodological substantiation of quality management on the basis of general scientific approaches can become the foundation on the basis of which the national system of education quality assurance will develop its own model, inherent only to it, taking into account the system of public administration in the field of Ukraine’s higher education, educational policy, academic traditions.

The article aims to study the contribution of quality management in higher education through state audit and financial control to the implementation of the socio-investment model of economic growth. The article is based on the scientific hypothesis that quality management in higher education should be based on university rankings. The article presents the authors’ view on the interpretation of recent results in the research field of quality management in higher education and reveals the strengths and weaknesses of the hypothesis. Systematization and critical analysis of the indicators of quality and effectiveness in higher education based on the leading university rankings for 2022—the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation—are performed. The case study method is used for the case analysis of the management of quality and effectiveness on the example of the leading Russian university, which has been the leader of these rankings for many years: Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). The scientific novelty and originality of the article are associated with a systematic view of the quality and effectiveness of higher education, which was first formed by the authors through a combination and grouping of indicators from the leading university rankings for 2022. The theoretical significance of the authors’ conclusions lies in the fact that the article clearly identifies a significant contribution of the quality control of education and the performance management of universities to the implementation of the socio-investment model of economic growth. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the scientific and methodological basis for monitoring and assessing quality and effectiveness in higher education based on the leading university ratings for 2022 makes it possible to improve the state audit and financial control of university activities in the implementation of the socio-investment model of economic growth.

Educational administration plays a strategic role in supporting the success of educational implementation. Good educational management not only supports the smooth running of the learning process but also contributes to the achievement of national educational goals. This study aims to examine the definition of educational administration and its development in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study method, involving the review of various written sources such as books, scientific journals, and relevant laws and regulations.The results of the study show that educational administration is the process of managing educational activities which includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising all educational resources in a systematic and sustainable manner. The development of educational administration in Indonesia has undergone a shift from a centralized system to a more decentralized one, particularly through the implementation of school-based management. This change aims to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of educational management. Nevertheless, the implementation of educational administration still faces various challenges, especially regarding human resource competence and the managerial capacity of educational institutions. Therefore, continuous strengthening of educational administration is required to support the realization of a quality and competitive national education system

The relationship between the institutional climate and the quality of educational management was determined. To this end, 171 surveys were carried out using a questionnaire and a cross-sectional approach, and the data was compiled. The dimensions used to determine the institutional climate were leadership, decision-making, work commitment, work satisfaction and teamwork. To measure the quality of educational management, curricular, administrative, organizational and communicative pedagogy were used, thus obtaining the relationship between leadership, decision-making, work commitment, work satisfaction and teamwork, where the value of r was 0. 39 (p-value = 0.000; p<0.05), 0.393 (p-value = 0.000; p>0.05), 0.588 (p-value = 0.000; p<0.05), 0.567 (p-value = 0.000; p<0.05) and 0.351 (p-value = 0.000; p<0.05) respectively at a 95% confidence level. These results show us that there is a relationship between leadership, decision making, work commitment, work satisfaction, and teamwork with the quality of educational management.
