Improvement on Student LearniInterest through the Integrated Sciences Learning Based on Webbed Model

Student learning interest is one of the keys that affects the success of the learning process. Students who have an interest in a material will tend to be more actively involved in the learning process. Therefore, it is important for educators to understand and develop strategies that can increase students' interest in learning. One strategy that is often used in the learning process is the expository strategy. This research examines the role of teaching strategies in increasing students' interest in learning with a focus on Hindu Religious Education at SMPN 14 Mataram. It aims to analyse the learning approach applied by Hindu teachers at SMPN 14 Mataram in an effort to increase students' interest in learning. This study uses a qualitative approach, data collected by in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis involving one teacher and five students. The results show that the use of expository strategies complemented by methods such as lectures and question and answer effectively fosters a conducive learning environment. These methods not only actively engage students and also motivate them to better understand the material. This research highlights the importance of varied teaching approaches and effective classroom management techniques, including mutual agreement, ice-breaking activities and positive feedback. In addition, the use of visual media and real-life examples significantly improved students' understanding and interest in learning. The findings emphasise the need for continuous development of innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, ultimately improving learning outcomes.

The Homeroom teacher is the person who has the first opportunity to improve the quality of learning regarding his role in fostering, guiding, and psychologically preaparing students, to be ready to participate in and carryout learning and learning activities in an effective and conducive claccroom atmosphere so that the quality of learning processes and outcomes can be achieved. The hope as a homeroom teacher in increasing student learning interest in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic is that the homeroom teacher can master technology to support online learning. The purpose of this study was to explain the role of the homeroom teacher in increasing student interest in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Kanisius Elementary School Sidowayah 02 Klaten. This study uses a qualitative method. The respondents of this study were the homeroom teacher of SD Kanisius Sidowayah 02 Klaten. The number of respondents in this study was 12 people. From the results of this study, the homeroom teachers of SD Kanisius Sidowayah 02 Klaten understand their respective roles increase students interest in learning.

This study examines Increasing Interest in Learning through the Reciprocal Teaching Model in Class V Students of SD Inpres Antang 1 Kota Makassar. The main problems in the research are; How to increase interest in learning through the Reciprocal Teaching model in fifth grade students at SD Inpres Antang 1, Makassar Regency. The main objective of this research is to increase students' interest in learning and apply the Reciprocal Teaching model to increase learning interest in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Antang 1, Makassar Regency. This research uses classroom action research. The research subjects were fifth grade students at SD Inpres Antang 1 which consisted of 10 boys and 14 girls. The data collection procedure used observation, student learning interest questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the student's interest in learning in the first cycle with the percentage of classical student interest in learning was 58.3% and there was an increase in learning interest in the second cycle with the percentage of classical student interest in learning 83.3%, so there was an increase in student interest in learning from cycle I to cycle II.

The Effectiveness of Online-Based Positive Reinforcement Group Guidance Services on Increasing Student Interest in Learning in the Covid-19 Era (Experimental Study at SMK Pelita Alam Bekasi). Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, As-syafiiyah Islamic University. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services using online-based positive reinforcement techniques to increase student interest in learning during the Covid-19 era at SMK Pelita Alam Bekasi. The research method used in this research is quantitative with Quasi Experimental Designs research design, and the data analysis technique used is the Paired Sample T-test. This study has a population of 42 students. The determination of the sample in this study was carried out by using the type of non-probability sampling, with purposive sampling technique, so that the sample used in this study was 20 students with 10 members of the experimentl group and 10 members of the control class. Hypothesis test results show the Sig.2-tailed value of 0.022 <0.05 in the experimental class, and 0.034 <0.05 in the control class, which means that there is a difference in the average student interest in the pre-test and control classes. It can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, this shows that online-based positive reinforcement group guidance services can increase student interest in learning in the Covid-19 era.

The aim of this research is to describe the differences in the average scores of student satisfaction and interest in learning in Calculus lectures using the Number Head Together (NHT) type learning model. This research uses an experimental method using One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The data analysis used in this research is the paired t-test (Paired Sample t-Test). The research subjects were 42 people, namely students of the Industrial Engineering study program, semester one of the 2022-2023 Academic Year. The research results showed that the average pretest score from the student satisfaction questionnaire was 18.3810, while the average posttest score from the student satisfaction questionnaire was 35.4524. This shows that the average posttest score for student satisfaction is higher than the average pretest score for student satisfaction using the NHT model in calculus lectures. Furthermore, the average pretest score from the student interest in learning questionnaire was 20.1429. Meanwhile, the average posttest score resulting from the student interest in learning questionnaire was 35.6905, this shows that the average posttest score for student interest in learning was higher than the average pretest score for student interest in learning using the NHT model in calculus lectures. Next is the data from the analysis of pretest and posttest scores on student satisfaction and student interest learning in calculus lectures using the NHT model using the Paired Sample T-Test showing a Sig value. (2-tailed) is .000 0.05 so H0 is rejected, which means that there is a significant difference between satisfaction using the NHT model in pretest and posttest data.

One of the most important factors in learning is student interest, using learning media is one technique to encourage student participation and increase their interest towards learning materials. This research aims to test whether or not there are differences before and after the use of Kahoot! learning media on students' interest in learning. The research method used in this research is experimental quantitative method one group pre-test-post-test design. The data used in this study are primary data by distributing questionnaires that measure interest in learning before treatment (Kahoot!) and after treatment, then the result processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 20 version. The sample in this study used one class in class XI majoring in Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) at Public Vocational High Schools 48 Jakarta totaling 36 students. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant difference before and after the use of Kahoot! learning media on student interest in learning with a significance level of 5%. So it can be concluded in this study that the use of Kahoot! as a learning media is effective for increasing students' interest in learning.

This study aims to measure the level and changes in motivation in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Samarinda in science learning. The approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive with 34 students as samples determined through the Convenience Sampling method. The media used is a flipbook-based e-module. Three instruments were used in data collection, namely a questionnaire filled out by students, a student participation observation sheet filled out by the teacher, and multiple-choice questions assessed by the researcher. The results of the study showed that the average score of student learning motivation was 44.29 and student interest in learning was 40.47, both of which are included in the fairly high category. The results of data analysis from the three instruments showed an increase in student motivation and interest in learning, accompanied by significant positive changes. Based on these findings, the researcher concluded that the implementation of a flipbook-based e-module has a positive impact on student motivation and interest in learning.

The method used is a quantitative method. This method is used to determine whether there is an effect of online learning with the Google Classroom application on students' interest in learning at SMP Plus Muda Prakarya. The research instrument used to obtain data is by using product moment correlation analysis. The variable studied in this study is the effect of Online Learning (X) on Students' Interest in Learning (Y). Based on the product moment analysis, the value of "r" count = 0.299. By examining the table for the value of "r" product moment, it turns out that for dk = N-2 = 28-2 = 26 at a significant level of 5%, we get "r" table = 0.388 and at a significant level of 1%, we get "r' table = 0.496. Then it can be concluded that "r" count = 0.299 &lt; "r" table = 0.496. In accordance with the provisions of "if "r" count is smaller than "r" table, then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. But on the other hand, if the "r" count is greater than the "r" table, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected". Thus, it means that there is no significant effect between online learning on student interest in learning at SMP Plus Muda Prakarya. Then by paying attention to the "r" count = 0.299 in the interpretation table the data is between 0.20 - 0.399 which means that there is no correlation between X and Y variables, even "Low". From the calculation of KD (Coefficient of Determination) it can be concluded that the influence between Variable X (Learning Online) and Variable Y (Students' Interest in Learning) only reaches 8.29%. Thus, there are other factors that affect student learning interest, which is 91.71%. Based on the results of the analysis above through this research, it can be concluded that there is no real influence between online learning on the learning interest of students in SMP Plus Muda Prakarya. The background of this research is the anxiety of parents and teachers regarding the students' motivation and interest in learning which has decreased after the pandemic. This study aims to explore how the use of persuasive sentences can affect students in elementary schools. This study specifically focuses on identifying the views of parents and teachers in using persuasive sentences to increase students' interest in learning and create a conducive learning atmosphere. This study used a case study research design with the data collection using a qualitative approach by conducting interviews. The Data was collected in 2022 from 34 participants who were parents and teachers of elementary school students with 33 participants from the Bogor area and one person from the DKI Jakarta area. The results of data collection and analysis were made into several themes. The results showed that parents and teachers agreed that the use of persuasive sentences could increase interest in learning and change students' learning atmosphere. Good behavior changes are shown by students after parents and teachers use persuasive sentences. The atmosphere and interest in student learning can be changed with a sentence spoken by the teacher or the student's parents.

The research that has been carried out entitled "The Influence of Using Giant Ladder Snakes Learning Media as Innovative Media on Student Learning Interests in Civics Class 4 Subjects at SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan" aims: (1) To determine student learning interest in Civics subjects without using snake learning media giant ladder in grade 4 SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan; (2) To find out students' learning interest in Civics subject using giant ladder snake learning media in grade 4 SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan; (3) To describe the significant effect of the use of giant ladder snake learning media on students' learning interest in Civics subjects in grade 4 SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental design research type. The design uses a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all 4th graders and the samples were selected based on a purposive sampling technique, namely class 4A as the experimental class and 4B as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study were distributing questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing using independent sample T-test, coefficient of determination and simple regression analysis. The results of the research that has been done can be concluded that: (1) Students' interest in Civics without using the giant ladder snake learning media in grade 4 SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan is very low. This can be seen in the results of the pre-test questionnaire scores in the experimental class of 993 with 17 students as respondents. (2) Students' interest in Pkn subjects using giant ladder snake learning media in grade 4 SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan is very high. This can be seen in the results of the post-test scores of the interest in learning questionnaire in the experimental class of 1138 with 17 students as respondents. Meanwhile, the results of the pre-test questionnaire were only 993. From this comparison, it can be concluded that students are very interested in learning Civics by using these learning media. (3) There is a significant effect of using giant ladder snake learning media on students' learning interest in Civics subjects in grade 4 SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan. This can be proven by looking at the results of the independent sample t-test, the average value of the experimental class is greater than that of the control class with a score of 66.94 &gt; 60.70 with a significance value (2-tailed) 0.000 &lt;0.05. In addition, the results of the determination test with the help of the SPSS 26 application obtained an R Square value of 0.881, which means that the influence of the giant snakes and ladders learning media on students' learning interest was 88.1%. While the simple linear regression hypothesis test results obtained a significance value of 0.000 &lt;0.05. This it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the giant ladder snake learning media on students' learning interest in Civics class 4 SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan. In other words, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Duo Koto Pasaman. The research objective was to describe students' interest in learning cultural arts (music) in class VII-3 at the school.This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research object was 36 students of class VII-3, with the research instrument being the researcher himself as the main researcher with additional instruments such as observation notes, interview notes and literature study. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation.While data analysis is by systematically classifying the data to draw conclusions.The factors that influence students' interest in learning are divided into two, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors in the form of attention, talent, interest and motivation, how to learn. And external factors in the form of family, school, and others. From the results of the research that the researchers observed covering the factors that influence student interest in learning, the results showed that the lack of student interest in learning the art of music at SMP Negeri 3 Duo Koto Pasaman was caused by a lack of strategies and methods used by teachers in the learning process. Teachers are more likely to provide material in the form of theory using the lecture method, so that students feel bored and not enthusiastic in participating in learning the art of music. Meanwhile, learning the art of music requires balanced learning in the form of theory and practice, to increase student interest in learning the art of music.Key words: learning, learning, the art of music, learning process, motivation

This study aims to determine the increase in student interest in learning by applying the snake and ladder game media. This type of research includes Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data collection techniques using observation techniques, questionnaires, tests, documentation, and field notes. The collected data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that the snake and ladder game media can increase interest in learning and learning outcomes. This can be seen from the observation percentage of students 'interest in learning who reach the fairly active and very active categories, namely 51 percent in cycle I to 90 percent in cycle II and the percentage of students' interest in learning who reach the category of sufficiently interested and very interested, namely 60 percent in cycle I to 85 percent in cycle II. Learning outcomes also increased from the percentage of classical completeness, namely 54 percent in cycle I to 100 percent in cycle II.

Abstract: development of discovery learning-based learning tools to increase students' interest in learning and creative thinking skills in mathematics lessons in elementary school. This study aims to develop learning tools based on discovery learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of discovery learning-based learning tools to increase students' interest in learning and creative thinking skills in mathematics. The tools developed consist of lesson plans, textbooks and LAS. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Medan Amplas which collected 25 students. This research is a development research. The development process consists of empathy: define, develop, disseminate. From the results of trial I and trial II, it was found that the first learning device developed was valid both in terms of and constructs. The two tools developed were practically used, and the three learning tools developed were effective in terms of the achievement of student learning mastery, student activities within the specified tolerance limits and student responses to learning in the good category. Furthermore, there was an increase in students' interest in learning and creative thinking skills from the first trial and second trial results. From the data that has been obtained shows that discovery-based learning tools in mathematics lessons in elementary school are practical and effective for creative thinking skills and student interest in learning. Abstrak: pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis discovery learning untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pelajaran matematika di SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis discovery learning. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan dan kefektifan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis discovery learning untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemapuan berpikir kreatif matematika siswa. Perangkat yang dikembangkan terdiri dari RPP, buku ajar dan LAS. Popolasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Medan Amplas yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Proses pengembangan tersebut terdiri dari empat: define, develop, disseminat. Dari hasil uji coba I dan uji coba II diperoleh bahwa pertama perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid baik dari segi isi maupun konstruk. Kedua perangkat yang dikembangkan praktis digunakan, dan ketiga perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan efektif dilihat dari ketercapaian ketuntsan belajar siswa, aktivitas siswa dalam batas toleransi yang ditetapkan dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dalam kategori baik. Selanjutnya adanya peningkatan minat belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dari uji coba I dan uji coba II Hasil. Dari data yang telah diperoleh menunjukkan bahawa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis discovery learning pada pelajaran matematika di SD adalah praktis dan efektif untuk kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan minat belajar siswa. The curriculum serves as a structured plan outlining learning techniques and strategies that can be further developed to enhance educational outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of the Independent Curriculum on students’ interest in learning about viruses. Employing a quantitative research design, the study involved 34 Grade X students at Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Aceh Besar. Data were collected using a questionnaire to measure students’ interest levels. The findings reveal that the Independent Curriculum significantly influences students’ engagement and motivation in studying the topic of viruses. Further insights obtained through an interview with a biology teacher at the school highlight challenges in the curriculum’s implementation, particularly in fostering competitive classroom dynamics. While some students demonstrated high enthusiasm and active participation, others showed minimal engagement, suggesting uneven learning motivation. These results underscore the need for adaptive teaching strategies and consistent teacher support to maximize the potential of the Independent Curriculum in improving student interest in science learning, particularly in complex topics such as virology.

In this study, we proposed an augmented reality- (AR-) based mobile touring system for an authentic learning activity, which enables students to observe and learn key information regarding cultural heritage sites. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed system, we conducted an experiment in a cultural heritage course at a Taiwanese university. A total of 72 students were divided into two groups and randomly assigned to an experimental group who learned with the AR-based mobile touring system and a control group who learned with a conventional mobile touring system. The experimental results show that the AR-based mobile touring system significantly improved the students’ memorising dimension of learning achievement, as compared with a conventional mobile touring system. Moreover, the positive impact of the proposed system on students’ actualised interest and task-based interest factors provide a particularly encouraging result for outdoor experiences. These experimental results also suggest the potential of AR technology to increase students’ learning interest and improve their learning achievements in outdoor settings. Therefore, we suggest that, when applying an AR-based mobile touring system in authentic learning activities, AR virtual objects should be designed appropriately, in order that the content recall performance and learning interest are enhanced.&#x0D; Implications for practice or policy:&#x0D; &#x0D; Teachers may need to consider using an AR-based mobile touring system for outdoor learning activities.&#x0D; First-year student learning achievements and interest can be improved by an AR-based mobile touring system.&#x0D; First-year student learning performance and interest can be improved by AR technology.&#x0D; The usefulness of AR technology can be proved through a comparison of experimental designs.&#x0D;
