Abstract

In this paper, we provide some sufficient conditions for a function of the form to be five-valued with the Walsh spectrum {0, ±2 n /2, ±2 n /2+1}. In particular, several classes of five-valued Walsh spectrum functions by adding the arbitrary product of linear functions to some known quadratic bent function are obtained.
