Integral and Weighted Composition Operators on Fock-type Spaces

We characterize the convex-cyclic weighted composition operators W_{(u,psi )} and their adjoints on the Fock space in terms of the derivative powers of psi and the location of the eigenvalues of the operators on the complex plane. Such a description is also equivalent to identifying the operators or their adjoints for which their invariant closed convex sets are all invariant subspaces. We further show that the space supports no supercyclic weighted composition operators with respect to the pointwise convergence topology and, hence, with the weak and strong topologies, and answers a question raised by T. Carrol and C. Gilmore in [5].

There are two aims in this paper. The first aim is to characterize the order-bounded weighted composition operators between Fock spaces, and the second is to further characterize the order-bounded difference in weighted composition operators between Fock spaces. At the same time, six examples are given to illustrate the relations between boundedness and ordered boundedness. Moreover, an interesting result is found that differences in weighted composition operators defined by some special weighted functions and symbol functions are order-bounded between Fock spaces if and only if each weighted composition operator is compact between Fock spaces. Finally, two open questions are also put forward for converting larger Fock spaces into smaller ones.

We solve the closed range problem for weighted composition operators on Fock spaces. The result equivalently characterizes when the operators are bounded from below. We give several applications of the main result related to the operators invertibility, Fredholm, and dynamical sampling structures from frame perspectives. We prove there exists no vector in the Fock space for which its orbit under the weighted composition operator represents a frame family. Furthermore, it is shown that a weighted composition operator preserves frames if and only if it preserves the stronger Riesz basis property. Similar results are provided for the adjoint operator.

The aim of this paper is to obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions for weighted composition operators uCφ with φ(z) = az + b (|a| ≤ 1), , where a, b, c, d ∈ ℂ, to be binormal or quasinormal on the Fock space . Surprisingly, the normality, quasinormality, and binormality of the above weighted composition operators uCφ are equivalent for |a| < 1; however, there exist non‐normal binormal weighted composition operators for |a| = 1.

This paper gives a note on weighted composition operators on the weighted Bergman space, which shows that for a fixed composition symbol, the weighted composition operators are bounded on the weighted Bergman space only with bounded weighted symbols if and only if the composition symbol is a finite Blaschke product.

We show that every non-compact weighted composition operator $f \mapsto u\cdot (f\circ\phi)$ acting on a Hardy space $H^p$ for $1 \leq p < \infty$ fixes an isomorphic copy of the sequence space $\ell^p$ and therefore fails to be strictly singular. We also characterize those weighted composition operators on $H^p$ which fix a copy of the Hilbert space $\ell^2$. These results extend earlier ones obtained for unweighted composition operators.

Weakly closed, commutative, symmetric rings of operators on a Hilbert space are examined and their structure is ex ploited to characterize normal operators in terms of the rings they generate. In the first chapter, notation is established, and the less common theorems from Hilbert space theory not to be used in later sections are briefly reviewed. In Chapter II, the structure of weakly closed, commu tative, symmetric rings with a cyclic vector is specified. This theorem is then used in conjunction with a strucure called a canonical decomposition system to establish that every weakly closed, commutative, symmetric ring or opera tors acting on a separable space and containing the iden tity is spatially isomorphic to a "divect sum" of L rings of a certain type. In Chapter III, two sets of necessary and sufficient conditions are given for two normal operators on a separ able Hilbert space to be unitarily equivalent. The concept of a spectral class of a normal operator is introduced -a natural generalization of the concept of an eigen value. Each spectral class is assigned a multiplicity, and it is shown that two normal operators are unitarily equivalent iff they have the same spectral classes with the same respective multiplicities. A multiplicity is iv also defined for weakly continuous positive functionals o n the symmetric ring generated by a normal operator in the weak topology, and it is shown that this multiplicity function determines the operator. This multiplicity theory is compared w i t h a previous theory. v CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION We shall be concerned in this paper with rings of operators on a Hilbert space, in particular, weakly closed, commutative, symmetric rings. All Hilbert spaces to be considered will be complex Hilbert spaces. If H is a Hilbert space and x,y e H, then (x(y) will denote the inner product of x and y, and 1 Jxi| will denote the norm of x. We shall consider only bounded linear operators in this paper, and therefore we shall use the word "operator" solely to mean a bounded linear operator. The set of all operators on the Hilbert space H will be denoted by B(H). If A s B(H), then A* will denote the adjoint of A, We employ the usual concepts of isometric, unitary, hermitian, normal, and positive definite operators. Knowledge of the weak, strong, strongest, and norm topologies for B(H) is assumed. The norm topology is the strongest of the four; hence, any set of operators closed in one of the topologies is closed in the norm topology. By a ring of operators we shall mean a set of opera tors forming a ring in the usual algebraic sense which is also a vector space over the complex numbers. The ring of operators thus obtained is a maximal, commutative, symmetric ring. If E is a weakly closed, commutative, symmetric ring with maximal ideal space M, then the fact that E is closed under sups gives rise to some strong topological properties of M. In this case, M is totally disconnected, and the closure of every open set is open. Thus, M contains many sets which are both open and closed, and such sets we call clopen. It is easy to see that projections in E correspond v i a the Gelfand transform to the characteristic functions of clopen sets. Weighted composition operators between Hardy and growth spaces on the upper half-plane

In this paper, we investigate when weighted composition operators acting on Dirichlet spaces [Formula: see text] are complex symmetric with respect to some special conjugations. We then provide some characterizations of Hermitian weighted composition operators on [Formula: see text]. Furthermore, we give a sufficient and necessary condition for [Formula: see text]-symmetric weighted composition operators on Hardy spaces [Formula: see text] to be unitary or Hermitian, then some new examples of complex symmetric weighted composition operators on [Formula: see text] are obtained. We also discuss the normality of complex symmetric weighted composition operators on [Formula: see text].

Let $D$ be a bounded homogeneous domain in $\mathbb{C}^n$. In this paper, we study the bounded and the compact weighted composition operators mapping the Hardy space $H^\infty(D)$ into the Bloch space of $D$. We characterize the bounded weighted composition operators, provide operator norm estimates, and give sufficient conditions for compactness. We prove that these conditions are necessary in the case of the unit ball and the polydisk. We then show that if $D$ is a bounded symmetric domain, the bounded multiplication operators from $H^\infty(D)$ to the Bloch space of $D$ are the operators whose symbol is bounded.

Let X and Y be locally compact Hausdorff spaces, let E and F be Banach spaces, and let T be a linear isometry from C0(X, E) into C0(Y, F ). We provide in this paper three new answers to the Banach-Stone problem: (1) T can always be written as a generalized weighted composition operator if and only if F is strictly convex; (2) if T is onto then T can be written as a weighted composition operator in a weak sense; and (3) if T is onto and F does not contain a copy of `2 then T can be written as a weighted composition operator in the classical sense.

&lt;abstract&gt;&lt;p&gt;The main goal of this paper was to completely characterize complex symmetric difference of the weighted composition operators induced by three type symbols on weighted Bergman space of the right half-plane with the conjugations $ \mathcal{J}f(z) = \overline{f(\bar{z})} $, $ \mathcal{J}_sf(z) = \overline{f(\bar{z}+is)} $, and $ \mathcal{J}_*f(z) = \frac{1}{z^{{\alpha}+2}}\overline{f(\frac{1}{\bar{z}})} $. The special phenomenon that we focus on is that the difference is complex symmetric on weighted Bergman spaces of the half-plane with the related conjugation if and only if each weighted composition operator is complex symmetric.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/abstract&gt;

In this paper, we study a discrete version of the Weiss Conjecture. In Section 1 we discuss the Reproducing Kernel Thesis and in Section 2 we introduce the operators which concern us. Section 3 shows how to relate these operators to Carleson embeddings and weighted composition operators, so that we can apply the Carleson measure theorem to obtain conditions for boundedness and compactness of many weighted composition operators. Section 4 contains Theorem 4.4 which is a discrete version of the Weiss Conjecture for contraction semigroups, and finally Section 5 shows how the usual (continuous time) Weiss Conjecture is related to the discrete version studied here; in fact they are equivalent (for scalar valued observation operators). The main advantage of the discrete version is that it is technically simpler – the observation operators are automatically bounded and the functional calculus can be achieved using power series.

In this paper, we characterize the bonudedness and compactness of weighted composition operators from weighted Bergman spaces to weighted Bloch spaces. Also, we investigate weighted composition operators on weighted Bergman spaces and extend the obtained results in the unit ball of $mathbb{C}^n$.

Let X be a non-empty set and let H(X) denote a Hibert space of complex-valued functions on X. Let T be a mapping from X to X and θ a mapping from X to C such that for all f in H(X), f ° T is in H(x) and the mappings CT taking f to f ° T and M taking f to θ.f are bounded linear operators on H(X). Then the operator CTMθ is called a weighted composition operator on H(X). This note is a report on the characterization of weighted composition operators on functional Hilbert spaces and the computation of the adjoint of such operators on L2 of an atomic measure space. Also the Fredholm criteria are discussed for such classes of operators.
