IoT Based Advanced Cardiac Arrest Detection System

Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) based remote health monitoring system have an expansive potential of becoming an integral part of the future medical system. In particular, these systems can play life-saving roles for monitoring of patients with critical health issues. Any health care monitoring system must be free from incorrect data, which may arise because of instrument failure or communication errors. In this project, to detect reliability and accuracy of data obtained by the IoT-based remote health monitoring.

Nowadays human and computer communication has changed from time to time. The change is aimed at making communication between humans and computers more efficient. Human needs for information and communication are increasing with digital communication, the microcontroller used is Raspberry Pi 3. The traffic conditions are very congested, using a manual system does not work optimally due to the number of undisciplined road users and the increasing amount of volume vehicles every year. Therefore it is very necessary that the LEDs are turned on to reduce the volume density of the vehicle, especially at the intersection, and can control the time of the traffic lights in accordance with the specified time. Internet of Things (IoT) uses Raspberry Pi 3, ESP8266 Wi-fi Module, Sensor RCWL 0516 and Blynk. Raspberry Pi 3 as the main controller uses wireless networks, and makes devices able to communication such as sending and receiving data. The Blynk application is able to provide information in real time as well as remote control monitoring. When the sensor detects, the ESP8266 Wi-fi Module will send traffic density notifications via Smartphone so that it can provide information on road conditions periodically. The purpose of this study is to monitor the condition of the road from a distance so that road users are disciplined in driving and do not commit violations when the red light is on.

This research creates a system to control the On/Off electric socket using Android as a controller. The system uses a bluetooth connection as communication between the controller and the system. System application for 6 electrical sockets that can be controlled on / off. Sockets are used to supply electrical power from electrical equipment which can be in the form of lamps, fans, and so on with a maximum power of 2000 watts for each socket. The system uses the Arduino nano microcontroller as the system controller, the HC05 bluetooth module, the relay module and programming using the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment), as well as applications on Android. Applications on Android use applications that are already available in PlayStore. Module testing consists of testing the Arduino Nano module, relay module, Bluetooth module, installing the Android application, and testing the entire system. Testing the Arduino Nano module using the Blink program to turn on and off the Arduino Nano onboard LED based on the delay given. Testing the relay module by giving high and low data, then seeing the reaction of the relay. Testing applications by installing on android. Testing the Bluetooth module by connecting the Arduino Nano module and using the Android application to connect to the system and turn it on and off based on the function of the application. The test results for each module went well. This test is to determine the characteristics of each module, useful for combining all modules into one system. Testing the system by combining the Bluetooth module, the Arduino Nano module, 6 relay modules and 6 sockets, a connection is made between the system and Android, then pressing the button function in the application to turn on the light on the socket. System testing works well, according to the initial design. This research made a prototype of the system in question to make it easier to understand the form of the overall system overview. ABSTRAK:Penelitian ini membuat sebuah sistem untuk mengendalikan On/Off stop kontak listrik dengan menggunakan android sebagai alat pengendali. Sistem menggunakan koneksi bluetooth sebagai komunikasi antara alat pengontrol dengan sistem. Aplikasi sistem untuk 6 buah stop kontak listrik yang dapat dikendalikan On/Off. Stop kontak digunakan untuk memenuhi daya listrik dari peralatan listrik yang dapat berupa lampu, kipas angin, dan sebagainya dengan maksimum daya 2000 watt untuk setiap stop kontak. Sistem menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino nano sebagai pengendali sistem, modul bluetooth HC05, modul relay dan pemrograman dengan menggunakan arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment), serta aplikasi pada android. Aplikasi pada android menggunakan aplikasi yang sudah tersedia di playstore. Pengujian modul terdiri dari pengujian modul arduino nano, modul relay, modul Bluetooth, install aplikasi android, dan pengujian sistem keseluruhan. Pengujian modul arduino nano dengan menggunakan program blink untuk menyalakan dan mematikan lampu led onboard arduino nano berdasarkan delay yang diberikan. Pengujian modul relay dengan diberikan data high dan low, kemudian melihat reaksi dari relay tersebut. Pengujian aplikasi dengan meng-install pada android. Pengujian modul Bluetooth dengan menghubungkan modul arduino nano serta menggunakan aplikasi android untuk melakukan koneksi dengan sistem serta menyalakan dan mematikan berdasarkan fungsi dari aplikasi. Hasil pengujian tiap modul berjalan dengan baik. Pengujian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik tiap modul, berguna untuk penggabungan seluruh modul menjadi satu sistem. Pengujian sistem dengan menggabungkan modul Bluetooth, modul arduino nano, 6 buah modul relay serta 6 buah stop kontak, dilakukan koneksi antara sistem dan android, lalu ditekan fungsi button pada aplikasi untuk menyalakan lampu pada stop kontak. Sistem bekerja dengan baik, sesuai dengan rancangan awal. Penelitian ini dibuat purwarupa dari sistem yang dimaksud agar lebih mudah untuk dimengerti bentuk gambaran sistem secara keseluruhan

Internet of Things (IoT) plays a pivotal part in our mundane daily life by controlling electronic devices using networks. The controlling is done by minutely observing the important parameters which generate vital pieces of information concerning the functioning of these electronic devices. Simultaneously, this information will transmit these vital statistics from the transmitting device as well as save the same on the cloud to access by the applications and supplementary procedures to use them. This scrutiny associates the outcomes of the environmental observances like the humidity and temperature measurements using sensors. The gathered information could be profitably used to produce actions like distantly dominant cooling, heating devices, or long term statistics, which will be useful to control the same. The detected data are uploaded to the cloud storage through network and associate using android application. The system employs Arduino UNO with Raspberry Pi, HTU 211D sensor device, and an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. The experimental results show the live temperature and humidity of the surroundings and the soil moisture of any plant using Arduino UNO with Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi is mainly used here for checking the temperature and humidity through the HTU 211D sensor element. The sensors are used for measuring the temperatures from the surroundings, storing displayed information with different devices. Here, the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module has been used for data storing purpose.

Fish farming is a difficult, task that involves growing fish without risk. Maintaining the pond's water quality allows for safe fish production. This will go over the creation of a real-time water quality system to monitor fish farms. The water quality monitoring system includes a dissolved oxygen sensor, a pH sensor, and a water temperature sensor. The Arduino Nano microcontroller is linked with the Internet of Things (IoT) platform to provide real-time remote water monitoring. The system is intended to efficiently monitor water quality in freshwater fish farms, specifically water parameters suitable for fish. Instead of testing the system in the real fish farm, it is tested using water that is simulated to the water quality for the fish farm. If the water was above and below the fixed parameter it gives us an alert and water exchange mechanism get started by remove the dirty water from the pond through the solenoid valve and provide the fresh water into the pond. By measuring the dissolved oxygen level if is any deviation occurs water circulation mechanism should be established and circulate the water for increasing the oxygen level by using the padding wheel which all these done automatically. It also done the automatic food feeding at the periodic interval time without the manual involvement sometimes it may cause a manual error such as underfeeding and overfeeding which may affect the fish health to reduce such stuffs we use this automatic food feeding system. The Internet of Things (IoT) is defined by the interconnection between networks of smart devices (objects) through specific communication standards and protocols. Data retrieved from these objects is loaded on cloud servers where it is analyzed, processed and then accessed by users through simple, intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces. The rapid development of IoT applications will steadily increase the demand for skilled personnel in this field. Under these circumstances, the study of IoT basic notions in classrooms becomes a necessity. Using the Arduino and Raspberry Pi development platforms, a wide range of IoT projects can be developed, according to the students' level. These platforms capture environmental data through an extended array of sensors (temperature, light, pressure, humidity, force, acceleration, rotation, sound, IR, magnetic field, etc.), making it perfectly suited to projects development in the educational STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Matemathics). In this study my aim is to show, based on examples, how several IoT projects can be developed in class using the two above mentioned platforms and I emphasize the didactical aspects associated with this study. For the first project I used the Arduino Uno development board, the DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, and ESP8266 WiFi module, and showed how the ambient temperature and humidity can be monitored via Internet. The data collected by the sensor was processed by Arduino, sent to the WiFi module and further on a cloud server on the IoT ThingSpeak platform where it was stored, analyzed and graphically represented in real time. In the second project I used a Raspberry Pi development board, a mobile robotic platform powered by two electric motors and equipped with a webcam in order to video monitor, via the Internet, a particular perimeter under observation. The robotic platform on which the surveillance camera is located can be positional controlled using a web browser that can access an HTML page built for this purpose. The final part of this study is dedicated to the assessment of the quality of STEM training results by classes of students who have worked on IoT projects compared with classes that have undergone traditional training courses.

In response to the pressing issue of foodborne illnesses in India, a project titled "Food Detection System using IoT" has been conceptualized. This system aims to analyze ambient conditions to maintain the quality of perishable items such as fruits and vegetables. Utilizing sensors like the DHT-11 for temperature and humidity monitoring, as well as the MQ135 and MQ4 for gas sensing, the project assesses factors crucial to food freshness and safety. The Arduino Uno serves as the hardware platform, interfacing with these sensors and facilitating data transmission to the IoT platform via the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. Additionally, the system incorporates a central base station connected to the internet for comprehensive fruit storage management. By aggregating data on temperature, humidity, and other environmental parameters, the project generates consolidated outputs to inform decision-making processes. Furthermore, integration with an Android mobile application enhances user interaction and accessibility, fostering efficient monitoring and maintenance of food quality standards to safeguard public health and mitigate food wastage.

The upcoming technological era 5G has increased the interest towards IOT significantly, the ability of IOT (Internet of Things) which is able to render and connect multiple IOT devices and its services from any location through various applications makes the use of this technology more efficient towards its future enterprise. The introduction of smart IOT technologies which is the present stream of automation in cars has allowed the devices to connect and communicate from any location. In an overpopulated nation like India finding a parking space for a car is a major concern especially in a metropolitan city, searching for a car parking space may sometimes result in traffic or wrong parkings might lead to penalties and traffic. Here an online booking system of networking devices based on IOT-cloud platform from where the user can get the information of parking slots empty or full in the area of choice and the user can get the information of the number of empty slots in that particular place and can book a parking slot in advance. The system of the model is presented in such a way that car parking update can be done offline without any booking and the update of the car parked at the slot is shown on the website in real time. The proposed project is implemented using 2G GSM SIM800A module with ESP8266 Wi-Fi module, we have used ThingSpeak open -source software for the IOT platform cloud database service through which an end user can use it to check the availability of the parking slot and book it accordingly.Here a systematic car parking sytem model is presented

This paper proposes about the compact Internet of Things (IoT) module for local weather monitoring. This IoT module was designed and developed to collect meteorological data for the purposes of power output prediction from photovoltaic panels and environmental data for the evaluation of the air quality in inhabited areas. IoT module main component is the Arduino board with connected sensors and WiFi module ESP8266.

Regular health checks have become very popular to prevent health disorders in particular to maintain the health condition of the body. A sensor network consisting of a light emitting diode and light dependent resistor is used to get the value of heart rate and oxygen saturation in the blood and processed by using algroritma resulting in a value of blood pressure. Variations in blood volume in the finger is measured with an optical sensor. automatic detection algorithm based on the peak that is used to detect heart rate continuously in accordance with the systolic and diastolic pressures with some simplifications. The proposed system is controlled by the microcontroller NodeMCU who have esp8266 WiFi module that can be connected to smartphones to Internet-based periodic monitoring of things. Nowadays, malls and other public places in the city are facing problem in providing proper and huge parking area for their visitors’ vehicles. Also, the lack of human resource for the parkers makes the visitors difficult to find the available space to park their cars due to the less information they get during finding the parking space. Moreover, those who are seeking the parking space have to drive around the parking area for more than once, which is wasting their time a lot. Therefore, the malls and other public places need the best solution to this problem. The online parking information system is really needed to make the parking system better. This system uses a network sensor consisting of HC-SR04 ultrasonic module to detect the parking slot availability, HC-SR04 which is accessed by Arduino Nano, and the data that is sent to the server uses esp8266 wifi module. Further, the server processes the data and display the information on webpage application as well as desktop applications in the form of the parking area map. This system will show the available space that can be accessed on website and PC with a few second delays and simple wiring system.

In recent days modern environment industries are facing rapid flourishing for performance capabilities and their requirements for corporate clients and industrial sector. Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovative and rapidly growing field for automation and evaluation in networks, Artificial Intelligence, data sensing, data mining, and big data. These systems have a great tendency to monitor and control different process used in industries. IoT systems have been implemented and have applications in different industries due to their cost-effectiveness and flexibility In this paper we have developed a system which includes real-time monitoring of current reading of three-phase motor through a wireless network. With the help of this system, data can be saved and monitored and then transmitted to cloud storage. This system contains Arduino-UNO board, ACS-712 current sensor, ESP-8266 Wi-Fi module which sends information to an IoT API service THING-SPEAK that behave like a cloud for various sensors to monitor data. The proposed system was successfully deployed in Aisha Steel Mills, Karachi, Pakistan.

Respiratory condition monitoring, including respiration rate and oxygen saturation, and oxygen flow rate in oxygen tanks needed for patients undergoing oxygen therapy. Lack of medical staff in hospitals and efforts to minimize interactions between patients and nurses during the pandemic, open opportunity to develop the respiratory condition and oxygen flowrate monitoring systems using the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Respiration rate and oxygen saturation data send to the local web network using the ESP8266 WiFi module and router. This monitoring system website was built on a server computer in the monitoring room using the PHP-MySQL programming language with Sublime Text 3 and XAMPP software. The website consists of features of the new user registration, user login, adding patient data, editing patient data, searching for patients, and patient respiratory condition monitoring pages. Connection speed based on the ability of the router range and the distance between the router and the microcontroller. For testing the reliability of the connection, the system simulated interrupted. The reconnecting times for the router and microcontroller range 3, 5, and 7 meters are 35.4 s, 35.6 s, and 35.3 s, respectively. The average response time for the system to receive data from the microcontroller and display the data on the monitoring page is 1.998 s, and there is no different data from the data on the web database and data on the serial monitor.

Motorcycle theft cases can happen at any time. In accordance with the regulations of the Indonesian National Police as stated in Article 18 Paragraph 1 of Law no. 14 of 1992 which reads "Every driver of a motorized vehicle is required to have a driving license." In Indonesia, many minors are not yet ready to ride a motorcycle and do not have a driver's license (SIM). To anticipate the breaking of ignition keys by unscrupulous motorcycle thieves, and comply with the rules from the Police in accordance with Article 18 Paragraph 1 of Law no. 14 Years Old, a motorcycle security system was designed using an e-SIM based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) key also uses an e-SIM and ID tag card as an identity card or identification when trying to turn on or turn off a motorcycle engine. The performance of this card is also supported by the Arduino Nano Microcontroller and Relay. In designing this tool, we connect the cables according to the existing circuit in the security module (Design Tool consisting of Arduino Nano hardware, RFID reader, relay and I/O/I switch) with a skun cable with input and output switches on the motorcycles so that during assembly or experimentation they can be directly connected to the ignition, starter and brake switches to connect the tools designed with automatic motorcycles. The Internet of Things (IoT) is essential in innovative applications such as smart cities, smart homes, education, healthcare, transportation, and defense operations. IoTapplications are particularly beneficial for providing healthcare because they enable secure and real-time remote patient monitoring to improve the quality of people’s lives. We provide a systematic review on recent studies of IoT-based healthcare-monitoring systems through literature review. The literature review compares various systems’ effectiveness, efficiency, data protection, privacy, security, and monitoring. The paper also explores wireless- and wearable-sensor-based IoT monitoring systems and provides a classification of healthcare-monitoring sensors. We also elaborate, in detail, on the challenges and open issues regarding healthcare security and privacy, and QoS. Finally, suggestions and recommendations for IoT healthcare applications are laid down at the end of the study along with future directions related to various recent technology trends.
