Iterative Projection Methods for Solving Systems of General Nonconvex Variational Inequalities

In this paper we introduce and consider a new class of variational inequalities with four operators. This class is called the extended general mixed quasi variational inequality. We show that the extended general mixed quasi variational inequality is equivalent to the mixed point problem. We use this alternative equivalent formulation to discuss the existence of a solution of extended general mixed quasi variational inequality and also develop several iterative methods for solving extended general mixed quasi variational inequality and its variant forms. We consider the convergence analysis of the proposed iterative methods under appropriate conditions. We also introduce a new class of resolvent equation, which is called the extended general implicit resolvent equation and establish an equivalent relation between the extended general implicit resolvent equation and the extended general mixed quasi variational inequality. Some special cases are also discussed.

In this paper, we introduce and consider a new class of variational inequalities, which is called the nonconvex variational inequalities. We establish the equivalence between the nonconvex variational inequalities and the fixed-point problems using the projection technique. This equivalent formulation is used to discuss the existence of a solution of the nonconvex variational inequalities. We also use this equivalent alternative formulation to suggest and analyze a new iterative method for solving the nonconvex variational inequalities. We also discuss the convergence of the iterative method under suitable conditions. Our method of proof is very simple as compared with other techniques.

Iterative methods for solving extended general mixed variational inequalities

In the literature, various iterative methods have been proposed for finding a common solution of the classical variational inequality problem and a fixed point problem. Research along these lines is performed either by relaxing the assumptions on the mappings in the settings (for instance, commonly seen assumptions for the mapping involved in the fixed point problem are nonexpansive or strictly pseudocontractive) or by adding a general system of variational inequalities into the settings. In this paper, we consider both possible ways in our settings. Specifically, we propose an iterative method for finding a common solution of the classical variational inequality problem, a general system of variational inequalities and a fixed point problem of a uniformly continuous asymptotically strictly pseudocontractive mapping in the intermediate sense. Our iterative method is hybridized by utilizing the well-known extragradient method, the CQ method, the Mann-type iterative method and the viscosity approximation method. The iterates yielded by our method converge strongly to a common solution of these three problems. In addition, we propose a hybridized extragradient-like method to yield iterates converging weakly to a common solution of these three problems. MSC:49J30, 47H09, 47J20.

We suggest and analyze some implicit iterative methods for solving the extended general nonconvex variational inequalities using the projection technique. We show that the convergence of these iterative methods requires only the gh‐pseudomonotonicity, which is a weaker condition than gh‐monotonicity. We also discuss several special cases. Our method of proof is very simple as compared with other techniques.

In this paper, we consider the problem of solving a general system of variational inequalities (GSVI) with a hierarchical variational inequality (HVI) constraint for countably many uniformly Lipschitzian pseudocontractive mappings and an accretive operator in a real Banach space. We propose an implicit composite extragradient-like method based on the Mann iteration method, the viscosity approximation method and the Korpelevich extragradient method. Convergence results for the proposed iteration method are also established under some suitable assumptions.

A hybrid extragradient method for approximating the common solutions of a variational inequality, a system of variational inequalities, a mixed equilibrium problem and a fixed point problem

In this paper, we introduce a new class of variational inequalities, which is called the general quasi-variational inequality. We establish the equivalence among the general quasi variational inequality and implicit fixed point problems and the Wiener–Hopf equations. We use this equivalent formulation to discuss the existence of a solution of the general quasi-variational inequality. This equivalent formulation is used to suggest and analyze some iterative algorithms for solving the general quasi-variational inequality. We also discuss the convergence analysis of these iterative methods. Several special cases are also discussed.

Extended general variational inequalities

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new modified relaxed extragradient method and study for finding some common solutions for a general system of variational inequalities with inversestrongly monotone mappings and nonexpansive mappings in the framework of real Banach spaces. By using the demiclosedness principle, it is proved that the iterative sequence defined by the relaxed extragradient method converges strongly to a common solution for the system of variational inequalities and nonexpansive mappings under quite mild conditions.

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of quasi-variational inequalities, which are called the extended general nonconvex quasi-variational inequalities. Using the projection technique, we establish the equivalence between the extended general nonconvex quasi-variational inequalities and the fixed point problem. In this paper, we prove a strong convergence theorem for finding a common solution of a general system of finite variational inequalities for finite different inverse-strongly accretive operators and solutions of fixed point problems for a nonexpansive semigroup in a Banach space based on a viscosity approximation method by using weak contraction mappings. Moreover, we can apply the above results to find the solutions of the class of k-strictly pseudocontractive mappings and apply a general system of finite variational inequalities into a Hilbert space. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of Ceng et al. (2008), Katchang and Kumam (2011), Wangkeeree and Preechasilp (2012), Yao et al. In this paper, we introduce and study a new system of generalized mixed quasi-variational inclusions with (H,?)-monotone operators which contains variational inequalities, variational inclusions, systems of variational inequalities and systems of variational inclusions in the literature as special cases. By using the resolvent technique for the (H,?)-monotone operators, we prove the existence of solutions and the convergence of some new p-step iterative algorithms for this system of generalized mixed quasi-variational inclusions and its special cases. The results in this paper unifies, extends and improves some known results in the literature.

We suggest and analyze a new self‐adaptive method for solving general mixed variational inequalities, which can be viewed as an improvement of the method of (Noor 2003). Global convergence of the new method is proved under the same assumptions as Noor′s method. Some preliminary computational results are given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method. Since the general mixed variational inequalities include general variational inequalities, quasivariational inequalities, and nonlinear (implicit) complementarity problems as special cases, results proved in this paper continue to hold for these problems.
