Abstract

Dr. Hagiwara is Resident, Dr. Choi is Clinical Assistant Professor, and Dr. Nath is Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology, State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, 450 Clarkson Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203; E-mail: [email protected]. After reading this article, the radiologist should be able to discuss common pitfalls encountered in CT examinations of the trauma patient and identify image acquisition and interpretation protocols that may help avoid these pitfalls, thus preventing confusing findings or uncovering occult injuries.
