Abstract

Abstract Electromagnetic (EM) interactions are probably the most fundamental and important in our lives. Most of our everyday experience is dominated by EM interactions (and gravity). Quantum electromagnetism is the first quantum field theory (QFT), on which all following QFTs are built. Thus, quantum electromagnetism not only explains much of the world around us, but is a prerequisite for the QFTs that explain the rest.KeywordsPolarization VectorPhoton StateCasimir ForceSimple Harmonic OscillatorRadiation RadiationThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
