Research and Design of Online Auction System Based on the Campus Network Using UML

The unified modeling language (UML) designs come in a variety of different notations. UML designs can be quite large and interactions between various notations and the models they define can be difficult to assess. During the design phase, and between successive releases of systems, designs change. The impact of such changes and the resulting effect on behavior can be non-obvious and difficult to assess. This survey article explores techniques for such re-evaluation that can be classified as regression testing and suggests regression testing criteria for designs. These might vary depending on testing objectives and include both selective and regenerative regression testing approaches. The article provides a concise overview of regression testing approaches related to various UML design notations including use cases, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and statecharts, as well as combinations of these models. It discusses UML-related techniques involving cost and prioritization during selective regression testing. Finally, it evaluates these techniques with respect to inclusiveness, precision, efficiency, generality, accountability, and safety. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to build a Bogoharjo Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Business Unit Management Information System to facilitate BUMDes managers in managing business units and providing available services to the community online. Methods: The method used in this research is the DevOps method with the stages of plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate, and monitor. System design uses UML (Unifed Modeling Language), namely flowchart, use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, and sequence diagram. System development using the Laravel framework. Results: The results showed that expert validation with an average percentage by content expert validation of 89% and media expert validation of 84% so that the BUMDes Management Information System (Village-Owned Enterprises) in Bogoharjo Village with the DevOps Method was very feasible to use. While the results of the practicality trial using 25 respondents produced an average percentage of 89% with a very practical category. Thus, the BUMDes Management Information System (Village-Owned Enterprises) in Bogoharjo Village with the DevOps Method is very practical to use. Novelty: The novelty of this research is used to assist BUMDes managers in managing data or providing information related to the BUMDes itself. In addition, BUMDes management becomes more organized and structured so that services to the community become more effective and well managed.

The development of an employee payroll information system is important in improving the efficiency and accuracy of payroll data management, especially in companies with a large number of employees. The selection of this topic is driven by the need to reduce payroll errors that often occur in manual systems. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) method was chosen as the main approach because of its ability to model and visualize the system in a structured manner. This research uses an object-oriented approach with UML, which includes the creation of use case diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams. These diagrams are used to describe the functional requirements and business processes that support the development of payroll information systems. The results show that the application of UML helps simplify system design, facilitate communication between developers and stakeholders, and increase accuracy in system implementation. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the successful performance of the information system runs effectively and accurately. In conclusion, this method is effective in designing an efficient and reliable payroll information system to minimize errors and increase productivity.

Problems that occur in asset processing at PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk The Service Solution Division is currently still using a data processing system in the form of Microsoft Excel. This is less efficient in terms of time, energy, and cost. With the development of technology, it can be used to overcome some of the obstacles faced today, such as by creating a system that helps in managing assets, inventory items, and also borrowing office inventory items to prevent damage, loss, or "ghost items". Web-based system development is used with system modeling, namely UML (Unified Modeling Language), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The asset management system development methodology uses a prototype model, PHP programming, and MYSQL database.

Effective organization management is essential for achieving the goals of student organizations. Dharmayana, a student organization at Universitas Tarumanagara, faces challenges in managing member data, event planning, and equipment borrowing, which are still done manually. This study implements Unified Modeling Language (UML) in designing a web-based application to support Dharmayana's organizational management processes. Using Agile Scrum methodology, this research develops key UML diagrams, including use case, class, activity, and sequence diagrams, to capture and document system requirements comprehensively. The use case diagram identifies primary user roles—Owner, Admin, Inventory Manager, Member, and Visitor—ensuring each role’s functions are effectively mapped. The class and activity diagrams structure data and workflows, while the sequence diagram defines logical interactions within the system. This UML-based design provides a clear structure, supports data integrity, and enables the flexibility needed for system modifications. The results demonstrate that UML enhances the design process, making it more adaptable and efficient. This application model can serve as a reference for other student organizations aiming to streamline their management processes through technology.

The role of computers is felt in almost all areas of life, especially along with the rapid development of computer network technology, all the information we need can be obtained in just a short time. One of the protocols used for communication between one computer and another is HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) which is a protocol used by all web-based systems. In this study, we will discuss the design of a web-based student consultation forum information system at AMIK Wahana Mandiri Tangerang Selatan. This system is an application system for student activities in consultations that are carried out manually to be more effective, accurate and computerized. So that the processing and storage process can be easier and more efficient. This system is designed with UML (Unified Modelling Language) modeling consisting of Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams. The implementation results of this research are expected to be useful for AMIK Wahana Mandiri, especially for student consultation activities at AMIK Wahana Mandiri

Information Systems are a combination of hardware components and devices. Information Systems are a collection of integrated hardware and software components and have the task of collecting, storing and processing data so as to produce digital products for the availability of information for an organization. PT. Multi Citra Rasa is a B2B company operating in the F&B sector for the food service category. One of the problems that occurs in this company is the long follow-up between departments in the customer order process, this is due to the limited information obtained. System analysis was carried out using UML (Unified Modeling Language) on the Use Case Diagram. Use Case Diagram is used to generally describe the weaknesses of the system currently running at PT Multi Citra Rasa. Data was collected through an observation process in the field, then conducting questions and answers with the users involved and looking for several references that support this research. At the system design stage, researchers also used UML in Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams. UML is an object-oriented system modeling, where these objects will be realized on application pages that are synchronized with user needs. Meanwhile, Class Diagrams are designed to make it easier to realize database designs into basic forms of physical data, so that in the end data processing can run optimally and the information displayed is in accordance with user requirements. This research meets the needs of company management and provides convenience to all users involved so that operational activities become more effective and efficient in the future.

Attendance is a data collection to determine the number of employee attendance at a company or agency. Attendance is evidence of attendance data that is very important to provide reports to superiors. The procedure used is still using a manual system where there is a risk of fraud when doing attendance and losing data so that currently a good system is needed. PT Kewalram Indonesia Designs and Builds a very Modern Employee Attendance Information System, namely Using WEB-Based Fingerprints is a system created to solve problems in the personnel department, especially attendance problems at PT Kewalram Indonesia. The system development method used is the RUP (Rational Unified Process) model. ) with OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) where the developer tool is UML (Unified Modeling Language). As for the system design, it is equipped with use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams and class diagrams. The purpose of designing this system is to simplify the attendance process, input and store attendance data and make it easier to find attendance data.

This research focuses on helping Laundry Kilometer 28 in recording cash in and cash out transactions which are still manual so it is not efficient because of the increase in customers. Researchers conducted an analysis using the PIECES method to find out how the system is running, what are the system deficiencies and what the system needs. The researcher designed a system for recording incoming and outgoing cash at Laundry Kilometer 28 using the waterfall method with UML (Unified Modeling Language) tools. Methods of data collection in the form of interviews and direct observation to analyze the Kilometer 28 Laundry business process to owners, cashiers and regular customers. The results of this study are system design with use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams and sequence diagrams compiled with draw.io, Microsoft Visio Drawing which is then visualized for its interface with Microsoft Power Point.

At this time, the Yogyakarta Communication and Information Office does not yet have its own meeting application. Based on these problems, the author proposes a video conference information system design for meetings at the Yogyakarta Information and Communications Office. The design uses the RAD method and uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling which consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. The results of this study resulted in a website that could be used for video conferencing by related agencies.

This project aims to create an electronic office application to effectively handle administrative administration in the department. The results are then used to the OOAD-based design of electronic office applications, which might facilitate management of search data and administration. The requirements phase kicks off the OOAD stages, which then go on to analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Modeling is done using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), which also uses Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams. The object-oriented analysis design methodology is being used by the IT Department of PT Infineon Batam to produce electronic office applications, and it is based on a website developed using the PHP MySQL database programming language. The results of this study include the creation of an electronic office application using the OOAD methodology, which has been implemented via the localhost webserver. These results include a system analysis, interface system design, testing of the system with a black box system, and testing results with test sample cases that have been carried out to determine that this software can be used correctly.

The process of checking the stock of goods at the Puri Mart minimarket still uses the manual method, namely seeing the stock directly one by one in the warehouse, the manual work system by recording in excel one by one which requires the Puri Mart minimarket to update its working system so it doesn't take too much time to check goods one by one and if there is a dispute over the number of goods. The purpose of this study is to produce an inventory and costing management system at the Puri mart minimarket and make it easier for the Puri mart minimarket admin to determine the selling price of a product, so that it can provide benefits for the minimarket. The result of this research is a web-based management system that is able to record, manage and print stock and price reports at the Puri Mart Minimarket which consists of calculating the number of incoming and outgoing stock and the price of a product. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, and literature study. The system development method used is Waterfall with UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling which consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. The system is designed web-based using the PHP programming language, using MySQL as a database and using Black box testing

This study aims to design an information system for new student admissions at SMA Negeri 4 Luwu. The research method used is the system development method with the waterfall model. Data collection techniques using data documentation methods, interviews and observations. This new admissions information system in its design uses the UML (Unified Modeling Language) development method which consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. Database logic design using My SQL and system interface. The software used in designing and implementing or supporting the system uses XAMPP as a web server, PhpMySQL as a database, HTML as a framework or format for a web, PHP as a language used on the server side, black box as a system test and a browser as a display media. The new student admission information system at SMA Negeri 4 Luwu includes new student registration, registration information, announcements, managing registration information and approving registration.  Kragilan Village is one of the villages in Mojosongo District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java. The obstacle experienced by Kragilan Village is in community complaints which are still carried out conventionally. In this way, the community must come directly to the Village office to submit complaints and in this case it is less effective because the complaint file can be lost and damaged. So to accommodate all complaints from the public, it is necessary to have a system that is made to make it easier for the community to express their aspirations in an easy way and can be used whenever the community needs it. The design of this system uses the UML (Unified Modeling Language) model, namely use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. At the development stage of this system using the Codeigniter framework, and a MySQL database with the Waterfall system development method. . This system has been tested by testing Black Box testing and beta testing through questionnaires to website users. The results of the Black Box test show that the function on this website system as a whole has been running well without any errors.
 
 
 

The two most critical phases of SDLC are the specification and the designing phase as they involve the transformation of the semantics from real world domain to computer software systems. Unified Modelling Language (UML) has been accepted as blue print for design and specification of software critical systems. But, UML structures have the weakness in preciously defining the semantics of a system. Any misinterpretation in safety critical system’s specification may risks loss of lives. Formal methods are mathematical tools and techniques which are proven very adequate, principally, at requirement specification and design level. However, formal methods are not welcomed because of rigorous use of mathematics. Therefore, a bridge is required between UML and formal methods to overcome the above insufficiencies. The endeavour of this paper is to propose a new approach by integrating UML and Z notation, a formal specification language. The main focus of this paper is on transforming the UML diagram: use case diagram, class diagram and sequence diagram to Z Schema for capturing both the syntax and semantics, particularly for safety critical system. The resultant formal model of the approach are analyzed and verified by using Z/Eves tool.
