Research on Data Security Storage System Based on Distributed Database

We describe a novel approach for building a secure and fault tolerant data storage service in collaborative work environments, which uses perfect secret sharing schemes to store data. Perfect secret sharing schemes have found little use in managing generic data because of the high computation overheads incurred by such schemes. Our proposed approach uses a novel combination of XOR secret sharing and replication mechanisms, which drastically reduce the computation overheads and achieve speeds comparable to standard encryption schemes. The combination of secret sharing and replication manifests itself as an architectural framework, which has the attractive property that its dimension can be varied to exploit tradeoffs amongst different performance metrics. We evaluate the properties and performance of the proposed framework and show that the combination of perfect secret sharing and replication can be used to build efficient fault-tolerant and secure distributed data storage systems.

In recent years, with the development of new energy industry and digital transformation, a large amount of business data is stored and transmitted, which contains important business secrets and user privacy information, so data security has become an important task. New energy business data security is a comprehensive task that requires a comprehensive consideration of factors such as technology, management and personnel training. By adopting appropriate security measures, the confidentiality, integrity and availability of new energy business data can be protected. With the rapid development of the Internet of Things, cloud computing and sensor technology, a large number of data characterized by a large number of types and strong timeliness has emerged, and the concept of big data has emerged. Big data is usually unable to be stored and calculated with conventional software within a certain time frame, and the adoption of new technical architectures can make big data play a greater value. In order to realize the secure storage of static big data and ensure the high storage efficiency, a scheme of secure storage of static big data based on lightweight encryption and homomorphic encryption algorithm is proposed. For unstructured data, a parallel encryption scheme based on elliptic curve lightweight encryption algorithm is designed. With the proposed dual-channel storage model, the data to be stored can be encrypted and stored from two storage channels at the same time. The dual-channel storage mode can increase the data storage speed and make up for the time consumption caused by the data encryption process. The reliability of the algorithm is verified by experiments.

JCDC: A blockchain-based framework for secure data storage and circulation in JointCloud

Nanopores are powerful single-molecule tools for label-free sensing of nanoscale molecules including DNA that can be used for building designed nanostructures and performing computations. Here, DNA hard drives (DNA-HDs) are introduced based on DNA nanotechnology and nanopore sensing as a rewritable molecular memory system, allowing for storing, operating, and reading data in the changeable three-dimensional structure of DNA. Writing and erasing data are significantly improved compared to previous molecular storage systems by employing controllable attachment and removal of molecules on a long double-stranded DNA. Data reading is achieved by detecting the single molecules at the millisecond time scale using nanopores. The DNA-HD also ensures secure data storage where the data can only be read after providing the correct physical molecular keys. Our approach allows for easy-writing and easy-reading, rewritable, and secure data storage toward a promising miniature scale integration for molecular data storage and computation.

As Web3 technology rapidly evolves, data management efficiency has become a critical challenge because of the decentralized nature of blockchain technology, which requires extensive computational and storage resources. Existing research highlights that decentralized consensus mechanisms in blockchain, such as proof-of-work (PoW) and proof-of-stake (PoS), lead to significant data redundancy, storage limitations, and latency issues, making data management efficiency complex. Moreover, the need for security and immutability in blockchain data storage exacerbates these challenges as the system scales and unique challenges unfold in maintaining efficient data management. Using Monte Carlo simulation, we analyzed the model’s behavior under various scenario by manipulating key variables such as network latency, node distribution, data block size, consensus mechanism efficiency, and storage redundancy levels. Our findings indicate that consensus mechanism efficiency has the most significant impact on overall data management performance, followed by network latency and node distribution. Interestingly, although data block size shows a moderate impact, storage redundancy levels have a relatively minor effect on efficiency. These simulation studies provide insights into optimizing consensus protocols and improving network infrastructure in enhancing the efficiency of Web3 data management.

Cloud computing is Internet based technology where the users can subscribe high quality of services from data and software that resides solely in the remote servers. This provides many benefits for the users to create and store data in the remote servers thereby utilizing fewer resources in client system. However management of the data and software may not be fully trustworthy which possesses many security challenges. One of the security issues is the data storage security where frequent integrity checking of remotely stored data is carried out. RSA based storage security (RSASS) method uses public auditing of the remote data by improving existing RSA based signature generation. This public key cryptography technique is widely used for providing strong security. Using this RSASS method, the data storage correctness is assured and identification of misbehaving server with high probability is achieved. This method also supports dynamic operation on the data and tries to reduce the server computation time. The preliminary results achieved through RSASS, proposed scheme outperforms with improved security in data storage when compared with the existing methods.

With the fast development of industrial Internet of things (IIoT), a large amount of data is being generated continuously by different sources. Storing all the raw data in the IIoT devices locally is unwise considering that the end devices’ energy and storage spaces are strictly limited. In addition, the devices are unreliable and vulnerable to many threats because the networks may be deployed in remote and unattended areas. In this paper, we discuss the emerging challenges in the aspects of data processing, secure data storage, efficient data retrieval and dynamic data collection in IIoT. Then, we design a flexible and economical framework to solve the problems above by integrating the fog computing and cloud computing. Based on the time latency requirements, the collected data are processed and stored by the edge server or the cloud server. Specifically, all the raw data are first preprocessed by the edge server and then the time-sensitive data (e.g., control information) are used and stored locally. The non-time-sensitive data (e.g., monitored data) are transmitted to the cloud server to support data retrieval and mining in the future. A series of experiments and simulation are conducted to evaluate the performance of our scheme. The results illustrate that the proposed framework can greatly improve the efficiency and security of data storage and retrieval in IIoT.

This study constructs a secure and efficient data storage and sharing architecture for the Internet of Vehicles. A practical Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus algorithm using reputation was proposed to address the shortcomings of roadside unit equipment in the architecture. The experimental results showed that in the performance verification of reinforced data storage, the storage proportion of the research scheme was always lower than that of the comparison algorithm. In the simulated 5000 transactions, it was always lower than 40 MB, while the comparison algorithm reached a maximum of 72 MB. The efficiency of querying registration information and vehicle data increased by 38.2% and 49.1%, respectively. In the shared performance verification, the fully loaded roadside unit devices decreased by a maximum of 2.8%. Under heavy load conditions, the fully loaded nodes decreased by a maximum of 20.7%. In the validation of the proposed consensus algorithm, its performance was more stable in terms of throughput, and the number of transactions processed per second by d (10) remained basically between 380 and 640. Overall, the constructed secure and efficient data storage and sharing architecture for the Internet of Vehicles is efficient and secure, which can be effectively applied in practical IoV systems.

Efficient secure data storage based on novel blockchain model over IoT-based smart computing systems

It expanded the capabilities of Information Technology (IT). From the past few years, cloud computing has developed from a good business concept in the best rising sectors of the IT industry. But more information on individuals and companies was put in the cloud, and concerns began to think about how secure the cloud environment was. Despite cloud surrounding structures, enterprise users still do not want to expand their business in the cloud. Security reduces the growth of cloud computing and continues to spread the market with complexity with data privacy and data protection. The security of cloud computing has constantly been an significant aspect of improved quality of service from cloud service providers. Data storage in the cloud has a problem related to data security. However, cloud computing construct many new security challenges which have not been well examine. In order to ensure that the user's data in the cloud is secure, we have proposed an effective mechanism with a distinctive feature of data integrity and privacy. This paper focusing on problems relating to the cloud data storage techniques and security in virtual environment. We recommend a method for providing data storage and security in cloud using public key Cryptosystem, which uses the concept of the modified RSA algorithm to provide better security for the data stored in the cloud. </span>

Cloud storage relieves the user from the local management of software and hardware by enabling high quality on demand storage services to store their data in remote locations. Storing the data in remote locations not only reduces the management overheads but also eliminates the user’s physical control over data storage and data security. The loss of physical control over data brings out various security issues such as data loss, tampering of data, data modification. The primary issue is to ensure the correctness of data stored in remote locations which can be resolved by enabling public auditing for cloud storage services. In public auditing, not only the user but anyone can verify the data correctness. The introduction of third-party auditor, who works on behalf of cloud user to verify data integrity helps to reduce user computation resources and cost. The key prerequisite for the public auditing protocol is to support dynamic data operations as data in cloud are dynamic in nature. Cloud is a multiuser environment, so the auditing protocol must scale well to handle multiple auditing processes simultaneously. This paper aims at an extensive survey which mainly outlines the requirements for cloud public auditability and compares varied public auditing protocols.

Traditional financial data storage methods are prone to data leakage and narrow data coverage. Therefore, this paper proposes a dynamic and secure storage method of financial data based on cloud platform.In order to improve the ability of enterprise data management, the paper constructs a financial cloud computing platform, mining financial data by rough set theory, and analyzing the results of frequent pattern mining of financial data by fuzzy attribute characteristics.According to the granularity theory, the financial data is classified and processed, and the CSA cloud risk model is established to realize the dynamic and secure storage of financial data.The experimental results show that. The maximum data storage delay of this method is no more than 4.1 s, the maximum data leakage risk coefficient is no more than 0.5, the number of data types can reach 30, and the data storage coverage is improved.

In the article was substantiated the essence of blockchain technology, examines its role, significance and directions of use in various spheres of public life. It has been established that the reason for the widespread use of blockchain to optimize business processes in various fields of activity lies in the advantages of this innovative technology, in particular, decentralization, transparency and security of data storage through the use of cryptographic information security mechanisms. At the same time, it was found that blockchain technology, despite its advantages, has disadvantages associated with the high network energy consumption, insufficient data storage capacity, scalability problems, lack of standardization and legal regulation of its implementation in various sectors of the economy. It is substantiated that one of the most acceptable business processes for using blockchain is accounting, since this technology is based on the double entry method, known in accounting practice, in which each transaction is recorded twice in the same amount for each of the parties to the transaction. It was found that the use of blockchain technology leads to the emergence of the so-called triple-entry accounting method. It is substantiated that the introduction of blockchain technology into accounting practice will create the prerequisites for optimizing a number of routine accounting processes, save resources on accounting, ensure accuracy, transparency and security of data, reduce the risk of distortion of accounting information and will build trust in the accounting institution. Taking into account the functionality of blockchain technology, possible directions for its use in the field of accounting are proposed, in particular for maintaining operational accounting in real time, accounting for accounts payable and receivable, accounting for the movement of the assets within an enterprise, carrying out a multilateral audit of transactions by all participants with access to blockchain networks.
