Research on intelligent parking management system based on embedded sensor technology

With the continuous acceleration of China’s modernization process, the number of private cars has increased sharply, and the traffic flow of various parking lots is increasing. The parking management of motor vehicles has become a problem of great concern to the society. In view of the shortage of parking spaces, the long time of manual fee collection, low efficiency and the inability to quickly find the reserved parking spaces in urban parking lots in China. At the same time, in large shopping malls, there is a common phenomenon that the parking range is single or the parking space is difficult to find, which makes the vehicles stay in the parking lot in a short time and cause congestion. For parking lot managers, it is difficult to timely regulate the parking lot through the existing traffic flow information of the parking lot, and it is impossible to determine the number of vacant parking spaces in the parking lot in real time. At the same time, The existing management system has problems such as low efficiency, poor scalability and less service content, which is difficult to solve in the face of emerging problems. Therefore, based on the above problems, this project designs an urban intelligent parking cloud platform based on wechat applet, which can distinguish users and administrators, select spare parking spaces, route navigation and time payment of parking fees for parking users, and the parking lot managers can understand the spare parking spaces and vehicle payment of the parking lot they manage, At the same time, it can detect the traffic flow through the traffic flow in a period of time and give early warning to prevent the accumulation of vehicles in the parking lot. Users and administrators can obtain more convenient and real-time information only through mobile phones, which solves the difficult problem of parking management in intelligent parking lot.

In this paper, we are introducing an intelligent valet parking management system that guides the cars to autonomously park within a parking lot. The IPLMS for Intelligent Parking Lot Management System, consists of two modules: 1) a model car with a set of micro-controllers and sensors which can scan the environment for suitable parking spot and avoid collision to obstacles, and a Parking Lot Management System (IPLMS) which screens the parking spaces within the parking lot and offers guidelines to the car. The model car has the capability to autonomously maneuver within the parking lot using a fuzzy logic algorithm, and execute parking in the spot determined by the IPLMS, using a parking algorithm. The car receives the instructions from the IPLMS through a wireless communication link. The IPLMS has the flexibility to be adopted by any parking management system, and can potentially save the clients time to look for a parking spot, and/or to stroll from an inaccessible parking space. Moreover, the IPLMS can decrease the financial burden from the parking lot management by offering an easy-to-install system for self-guided valet parking.

To alleviate the problem between parking demand and supply, as well as improving urban traffic environment, shared parking has attracted great interest among researchers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs. Naturally, it is a prerequisite of sharing private parking spaces with public users (P-users) that all of the owners (O-users) providing parking spaces have space to park whenever they come back, with a unified management of all parking resources. However, it remains a challenge both in theory and practice. To solve this problem, firstly, we introduced a management framework of shared parking resource in terms of time and spatial dimension. Under this framework, to control the access to parking spaces of P-users, four phases (preparatory phase, open phase, releasing phase, and reconstructive phase) are divided in time dimension, and two types of parking spaces (the prestored parking spaces, and the shared parking spaces) are classified in spatial dimension. Then, based on the proposed management framework, an intelligent parking management system (IPMS) was developed to simulate the operation of shared parking considering the uncertainties of P-users’ and O-users’ arrival and departure. Furthermore, detailed sensitivity analysis, based on real-world data and simulations, evaluated the proposed framework and the developed IPMS in a case study concerning parking lots in Beijing, China. The results show that the IPMS can not only realize that there will always be enough available parking spaces satisfying O-users’ parking demand, but also bring about vast improvements in both utilization and turnover rate of parking spaces, comparing with the non-shared management strategy.

Along with the historical process of the industrial revolution, the automobile has undoubtedly made life more convenient. But at the same time, various problems also come along: Traffic jams are becoming more and more serious, and problems such as parking are becoming urgent problems. This design uses STC89C52 microcontroller, through the infrared sensor module to detect the information of the garage, then the nRF24L01 wireless module is used to carry out the wireless transmission of master and slave information. Finally, the LCD1602 LCD screen is used to establish the human-computer interaction page, and an intelligent parking space management system is designed. The owners can easily check the parking lot to understand the flow of the parking lot through the system, and judge whether to enter the parking lot, saving time. At the same time, it is easier to integrate with other intelligent systems, which provides a foundation for more advanced management and is the premise for making the parking lot a highly intelligent product in the future.

In the current context of rapid development of digital economy, enterprise financial management is facing increasingly complex internal and external environments, and the traditional financial management model has been difficult to meet the needs of intelligence, refinement and efficiency. This paper analyzes the status quo and development trend of enterprise financial informatization construction, and clarifies the important role of informatization in improving the efficiency of financial management; from the three dimensions of data-driven decision-making support, financial process optimization based on artificial intelligence, and the deep integration of informatization and intelligence, it discusses the key elements of the optimization of the intelligent financial management system and the path of achieving it; finally, it evaluates the effect of optimized intelligent financial management system through a typical case, and verifies that it can meet the demand of intelligent financial management and improve its efficiency. Finally, the optimized intelligent financial management system is evaluated through typical cases to verify its significant role in improving management efficiency, reducing operating costs and enhancing decision-making science. The study shows that promoting the organic combination of informationization construction and intelligent management can not only improve the overall level of enterprise financial management, but also provide an important guarantee for enterprises to achieve sustainable development.

Aquaculture intelligent monitoring and management system (AIMAMS) is a web information system covering businesses, home users, and management of aquaculture information, which have many users. The information security and safety equipment of different users is an important issue that we have to consider. Role-based access control introduces the roles concept into user and access rights, and its basic feature are that divide roles depending on the security policy, assign operating license for each role, and assign roles to each user. The user can access the specified object based on their respective roles. In order to achieve different user needs for security, aquaculture access control model based on group/role is developed which is based on analysis of the role-based access control model. Aquaculture intelligent monitoring and management system consists of system administrators, business users, family farming users and technicians, each category contains a number of other users who have different permissions. For such a complex distribution of competences, the user groups are introduced here on the basis of idea of role-based access control model. Users are divided into four groups which correspond to four categories of users, each group is given the largest collection of operational authority, and the users of each group are assigned different roles, which have all or part of privileges of the current group. Technicians can access business and family farming user’s information, but cannot view some sensitive data, such as price, therefore, technicians group is controlled by field-level permissions of data tables, the sensitive fields of business and family farming user data tables is shielded. This model can effectively reduce the overhead of rights management, and can improve system’s scalability. Along with the needs of business development, the system can easily add new user groups and assign permissions and roles for them. This aquaculture access model is universal, it is not only suitable for aquaculture intelligent monitoring and management system but also has reference value for other systems.

With the growing economic level and the continuous development of information network technology, as well as the continuous improvement of people's living standards, transportation demand gradually increased. Due to the current transportation system in China has been facing the problem of traffic congestion and inefficient, and cause serious pollution and energy shortages, and intelligent traffic management system is the key to solve these problems, the modern information network technology and transportation combined. This article gives a brief introduction to the development and study of the status quo of China's intelligent transportation management system, intelligent traffic management system architecture of CORBA and CORBA, and described the implementation of an intelligent traffic management system based on CORBA.

This paper presents a design of parking space intelligentmanagement system based on visual identification which combines visual image processing technology and intelligent management systems.In the system, visual processing technology is used to extract the vehicle information such as parking spaces, vehicle license plate number, vehicle type,parking position, etc. A set of visual processing related functions are realized such as the parking space indication, vehicle detection, vehicle positioning, timing charging, etc.It is more convenient for users to finda car in a large car park. Cameras are used to monitor parking situation in real-time to achieve the function of electronic patrol. The system provides a convenient and efficient management of a large car park and save labor costs. Based on the architecture of this system, the more visual processing technology can be integrated into the system,such as face recognition, vehicle color andlogorecognition and so on.They can improve the reliability and security of parking space management system.

Towards environmental sustainability in the local community: Future insights for managing the hazardous pollutants at construction sites

Due to advancements in the automobile industry’s technology, the usage of private vehicles, particularly cars, by civilians has grown widespread in this period of globalization. Moreover, the country’s business and trade procedures are improving year after year. This scenario has resulted in significant traffic congestion, air pollution, and inevitable accidents, especially on the Shah Alam-Puchong Highway. As a result, the government proposed the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) utilising the Internet of Things (IoT) as an alternative to extending the road system, which may be expensive. This method assists authorities in tracking, monitoring, processing, and managing traffic more effectively, therefore reducing traffic congestion concerns. This study report presents a survey on the effectiveness of the ITMS installation on Federal Route 3214 (Shah Alam-Puchong Highway) in reducing traffic congestion. The information gathered is evaluated using Microsoft Excel and the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The factors that contribute to traffic congestion and the mean impact of the traffic congestion on road users, society, and the economy of the Shah Alam-Puchong Highway are determined in this study. Furthermore, this study also evaluates the probabilities of IoT hardware utilisation in ITMS at Shah Alam-Puchong Highway.

The fundamental point of the ecological balance in water bodies and the safety of drinking water is the health of water bodies. The traditional models for managing water quality are no longer effective in dealing with the environmental challenges that are now more complex due to their lagging and low efficiency. This paper tries to examine and implement the use of intelligent technologies in building an intelligent water body health management system that would encompass the prediction, early warning, and decision support. On the one hand, the system of a multi-dimensional water body health assessment that involved physical, chemical, and biological indicators was created, and the need to standardize the data was explained. Then three fundamental intelligent prediction algorithms, namely BP neural network (BPNN), fuzzy logic, and support vector machine (SVM), were thoroughly discussed, explaining their working mechanism and merits and demerits in water quality prediction. The above models were trained and validated through real monitoring data for a given reservoir using a case study. The findings revealed that the combined model indicated a high degree of benefit in the accuracy of prediction and stability. Based on this, a three-layer intelligent management system architecture including the perception layer, platform layer, and application layer was designed, achieving a management closed loop from data collection, intelligent prediction to decision support. The research results not only provide efficient and forward-looking technical means for water environment supervision but also lay a solid theoretical and practical foundation for achieving the grand goal of "smart water management".

Dynamic parking space allocation at urban scale: Problem formulation and resolution

The traditional management model for small-scale orchard has been unable to meet the current social development, it is a fashion trend of construction the intelligent orchard management system, the investment benefits has become a concern. This paper proposes the evaluation indicator system of comprehensive benefits of small-scale intelligent orchard management system based on the three dimensions of economic benefits, social benefits and ecological benefits, and introduces a simple and convenient evaluation model with the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Finally, feasibility and easy-to-accomplish steps of the proposed model is verified by empirical analysis. This study has brought some management enlightenment and also provided decision support for investment management of small scale orchard intelligent management system.

With the development of economy, people living standard rise, the necessary traffic tools in the private cars as showing a strong growth trend, the resulting traffic problems become more and more serious, mainly urban area parking management technology still is not high, generally lead to the parking management difficult problem is also growing. So in order to improve the management of the parking lot, improve the efficiency of parking, parking management system, the author of this paper in the entrance guard recognition and parking monitoring problems put forward a design scheme of intelligent parking management system, the scheme comprehensive utilization of the Internet of things (RFID) and Zigbee wireless sensor technology, the system has simple structure, low cost, and expected results have been achieved in the lab, can make the car into the designated parking space.
