Rural Landscape Simulation System Based on Virtual Reality Technology

The popularization of virtual reality technology has become a brand-new carrier of knowledge and information dissemination and a new tool for art creation and design teaching in Colleges and universities. In this paper, first of all, from the three aspects of the definition and characteristics of virtual reality technology, the integration of virtual reality technology into art design teaching, and the significance of using virtual reality technology in art design teaching, the reform of art creation and design teaching in Colleges and Universities under virtual reality technology is discussed. In order to carry out the application research, this paper then chooses to carry on the simulation modeling teaching of the bamboo forest in the intelligent virtual reality environment, making full use of the intelligent modeling tools, rendering tools and mapping tools to complete the teaching application examples of the art modeling design in Colleges and universities. In the specific teaching of art creation and design in Colleges and universities, the creation and design modeling of individual bamboos, the creation and design modeling of bamboos forest, and the creation and design modeling of different lighting effects and scene rendering are carried out respectively. Finally, from the advantages of intelligent virtual reality technology in art creation and design of colleges and universities, the expansion and promotion of teaching resources, and the synergistic effect of teaching results, we analyze the strategies of art creation and design teaching in Colleges and Universities under the background of intelligent virtual reality technology in detail.

Service robots have been applied in an increasing number of scenarios, including homes, hospitals, offices, schools, hotels, etc. To ensure the usability of the interaction interface and process in the application of service robots, the design of human-robot interaction in the application of service robots involves various interaction modalities, different robot forms, and different physical behaviors of robots in space, etc. This makes it challenging to have low-cost, high-fidelity prototype methods that support design exploration in the early stages of service robot application design.Currently, many rapid prototyping techniques have been applied to the design exploration stage in the design of service robot applications, such as paper prototypes, storyboards, video prototypes, etc. However, these methods have limitations, including low fidelity and being out of the environmental context. Researchers have also been exploring new prototype methods to meet the design exploration and testing requirements for HRI design. Some studies have explored the use of VR test HRI prototypes, and most of them focus on the technical aspect, and the performance of HRI capabilities. Other studies focus on specific HRI design aspects: interactive mechanism, anthropomorphic appearance, social acceptance, and so on. Approaches focusing on these aspects are not suitable for prototyping and testing the overall interaction scenarios of service robot applications.Based on the characteristics of virtual reality technology, this paper aims to explore how virtual reality technology can be used to support multi-user collaborative design of service robot applications in a virtual environment. To address this issue, this paper proposes a system for supporting collaborative design of service robot applications. The system framework and implementation will be described in detail in the paper. Specifically, the system enables multiple users (designers or stakeholders) to enter a virtual environment in real-time using head-mounted VR devices. Users can select appropriate environment model assets based on the target application scenario and perform bodystorming "on site". Using a modular robot building tool, users can add virtual robots to the space and add or delete functional components, as well as adjust the position, size, and orientation of the components. The system's Wizard-of-OZ module allows users to control the robot's movement and component status. The Graphic UI is embedded into the physical display of the robot via WebView and supports the simulation of the Graphic UI interaction process. After completing the initial application concept ideation and virtual robot design, users can use WoZ and Role-Playing techniques to perform the human-robot interaction process to evaluate and optimize the interaction design. In addition, the recorded video of the performance can also support subsequent design discussions.The system is implemented using the Unity game engine, and users interact with the system using the Oculus Quest headsets and controllers. The design activities case based on the system will be evaluated and discussed to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the system. Further, we discuss the limitations of this work and the future research directions for supporting the design of service robot applications using virtual reality.

As an innovative educational tool, virtual reality technology is profoundly influencing the way teaching and learning are conducted. This paper first outlines the definition and characteristics of virtual reality technology and its theoretical foundations in education, including constructivist learning theory and multiple intelligences theory. By analyzing teaching applications in different subject areas and incorporating actual data tables, we explore the advantages of virtual reality technology in enhancing student satisfaction, engagement, and learning outcomes. The study finds that compared to traditional teaching methods, the teaching approach incorporating virtual reality technology increases the average score by 13% and improves the excellent rate by 25%. However, the application of virtual reality technology in education also faces challenges such as high hardware costs and insufficient teacher training. To address these issues, this paper proposes solutions like enhancing teacher training and developing high-quality teaching resources, and looks into the future development of virtual reality technology in education.

The improvement of the level of science and technology puts forward higher requirements on the operation skill level of various equipment operators. Specialization in the development of computer games and virtual reality applications has begun recently. The provision of practical classes is accompanied by specific tasks, which gives students the opportunity to improve the use of software and technical devices.The relevance of the research is determined by the current demand for the use of the latest technologies by IT developers in the field of creating computer games. Today, technologies that provide a player’s immersion in virtual reality are becoming more and more popular. One of these technologies is a suit with wearable sensors that track a person’s position in space in real time. However, there are quite a few real described projects in the literature and on the Internet. This study examines the process of developing a task for creating a game application using virtual reality technology: a suit with wearable sensors for teaching students.Materials and methods of research. Timely identification of the needs of the IT market in personnel training allows educational organizations to form new training programs of different levels of training. This approach makes it possible to target the educational and methodological materials being developed to use the latest achievements in the development of the field under study.Using a systematic approach, the study characterizes virtual reality suits and sensors for monitoring the position in the user’s space. Thus, the goal of the task was to ensure the immersiveness and convenience of interaction between the player and the game environment.Based on materials on software, position sensors in space, the approach of pedagogical design was applied and the procedure was formed for a practical task, reflecting the relevant competencies.Results. The study was conducted on the basis in the framework of laboratory and practical work of students, as well as at a real enterprise. Training in the new profile of the direction of training “Applied informatics” is fully equipped with all the latest technologies in this field. As a result of the work, the content of the practical task was developed.Real development of virtual and augmented reality applications is conducted jointly with students. Almost all projects used a suit with body sensors.Conclusion. Our study examines in detail the process of developing an application using a suit with wearable sensors for further training of students. Based on the results, work can be carried out on real projects for any field. Based on the research materials, it is planned to issue a textbook for students with the profile of developing computer games and virtual / augmented reality applications.

In this paper, we analyze and study the virtual reality technology of Unity engine and the real-time rendering performance of URP rendering pipeline in VR projects as the starting point, and discuss the application of virtual reality technology in the field of visualization and simulation of architectural scenes and virtual museums, as well as the practical effects of URP rendering pipeline for 3D, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) projects. Starting with the design of the 3D scene, the presentation will include the construction of the scene model and the visual effects of different lighting types in the virtual exhibition hall in the URP rendering pipeline. By using virtual reality technology, we provide users with immersive visiting experience and conduct some practical discussions for culture and art towards digitalization and popularization. Virtual museums have become a new platform for cultural dissemination, which is conducive to the popularization of museums and the transmission of culture. At the same time, this paper uses VR virtual reality technology in the interactive design of the application of ideas and URP rendering pipeline in the process of conducting VR project development excellent visual performance, to provide a more natural, realistic, convenient and personalized experience for the experience. The future prospects of virtual reality technology and virtual museums are very broad, and they will become the new highlight of digital cultural and creative industries. Interior landscape design needs a comprehensive use of a variety of design theories and technical means, so that the aesthetic feeling and connotation of the works can be effectively reflected. However, the existing means and methods of interior landscape design have been difficult to meet the increasingly high expectations and needs of users. The development of virtual reality technology has brought new changes to interior landscape design, which is helpful to give full play to the auxiliary role of design. Based on this, this paper first analyses the application characteristics of virtual reality technology, then studies the application status and problems of virtual reality technology in interior design, and finally gives the modeling method of virtual reality technology in interior design.

To explore the effectiveness of Virtual Reality Technology in reducing kinesiophobia in people. Kinesiophobia is an important psychosocial factor affecting the pain experience and has a significant negative impact on rehabilitation. Virtual reality technology has been widely used in the treatment of phobias, mental disorders and anxiety disorders. However, the effect of virtual reality technology on people with kinesiophobia has been reported with inconsistent results. A meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials. This study systematically searched PubMed, Web of Science, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Embase, Cochrane Library, Medline, Scopus and four Chinese databases. The standardised mean difference (SMD) was calculated using random-effects models, and the Cochrane Collaboration's tool was used to assess the risk of bias in each study. The PRISMA 2020 checklist provided by the EQUATOR network was used. Eleven randomised controlled trials involving a total of 488 subjects were included. Meta-analysis showed the effect sizes of virtual reality intervention on kinesiophobia (SMD=-0.53, 95% CI [-0.90, -0.17], p= .004). Virtual reality intervention was more effective in reducing kinesiophobia in people with chronic low back pain (SMD=-1.00, 95% CI [-1.71, -0.29], p= .006). Compared with fully immersive virtual reality (SMD=-0.29, 95% CI [-0.62, 0.05], p= 0.09), non-immersive virtual reality was more effective in reducing kinesiophobia (SMD=-0.66, 95% CI [-1.24, -0.09], p= 0.02). Compared with virtual reality intervention alone (SMD=-0.35, 95% CI [-1.40, 0.71], p= 0.52), virtual reality combined with exercise was more effective in reducing kinesiophobia (SMD=-0.59, 95% CI [-0.95, -0.22], p= 0.002). Virtual reality technology has the potential to reduce the degree of kinesiophobia in people. In addition, virtual reality technology was more effective in people with chronic low back pain; non-immersive virtual reality was more effective in reducing kinesiophobia; and virtual reality technology combined with exercise was more effective in reducing kinesiophobia than virtual reality intervention alone. Clinical nursing staff should be encouraged to use virtual reality to speed up patient recovery. However, to achieve immersion and apply this technology to different diseases, more studies are required to provide clearer suggestions. This study suggests that healthcare staff should pay attention to kinesiophobia, and early identification and intervention of kinesiophobia can help patients recover their health and improve the quality of nursing.

As an important part of Computer-Aided Education (CAE), Virtual Reality (VR) technology has been widespread concerned by the education sector. Because of the characteristics of VR technology, it is possible to be used in the experimental teaching of plant physiology, and can solve real problems in the teaching process. Based on the basic characteristics of VR technology, this paper will discuss its application related to the experimental teaching of plant physiology, and provide the reference for the experimental teaching in the future.

The aim was to investigate a cross-disciplinary model of yacht interior design in the context of the methodological integration of traditional visualisation methods and virtual and augmented reality tools. The study employed an interdisciplinary approach, systems analysis, and comparative methods, which allowed for structuring the integration of traditional visualisation and virtual reality tools, as well as identifying key interrelations between them. The study proved that the integration of traditional visualisation methods with virtual and augmented reality technologies significantly increases the efficiency of the yacht interior design process, improves the accuracy of modelling, and contributes to a better perception of the final result. It was noted that the role of traditional tools is not diminishing, but, on the contrary, is gaining new opportunities when used in conjunction with the latest arsenal of design tools. In addition, it was found that the use of a cross-disciplinary model contributes to a deeper understanding of design solutions, accelerates the processes of coordination and implementation, and expands the possibilities for optimising the functional and aesthetic characteristics of the interior. New approaches to the integration of visual aspects of design have been identified, revealing the potential of using a cross-disciplinary model for a deeper understanding and evaluation of interior design solutions. The prospect of effectively combining various visualisation tools has been outlined, which allows for improving the process of interaction between designers, engineers and customers. The current study has proposed a theoretical basis for further development and implementation of a modern approach to design that takes into account both traditional and innovative means of presenting visual information.
