Split equality fixed point problem for two quasi-asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings

In this paper, we consider the split equality fixed point problem for quasi-pseudo-contractive mappings without a priori knowledge of operator norms in Hilbert spaces, which includes split feasibility problem, split equality problem, split fixed point problem, etc., as special cases. A unified framework for the study of this kind of problems and operators is provided. The results presented in the paper extend and improve many recent results.

In this paper, we introduce an iterative algorithm for approximating a common solution of Split Equality Monotone Inclusion Problem (SEMIP) and Split Equality Fixed Point Problem (SEFPP) in p-uniformly convex Banach spaces which are also uniformly smooth. Under standard and mild assumptions of monotonicity and right Bregman strongly condition of the SEMIP- and SEFPP-associated mappings, we establish the strong convergence of the scheme. Finally, we applied our result to study the convex minimization problem (CMP) and Equilibrium Problem. Our result complements and extends some recent results in literature.

In this paper, we propose a new iterative algorithm for solving the multiple-sets split feasibility problem and the split equality fixed point problem of firmly quasi-nonexpansive mappings in real Hilbert spaces. Under very mild conditions, we prove a weak convergence theorem for our algorithm using projection method and the properties of firmly quasi-nonexpansive mappings. Our result improves and extends the corresponding ones announced by some others in the earlier and recent literature.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study the general viscosity approximation methods for quasi-nonexpansive mappings in the setting of infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. Under suitable conditions, we prove that the sequences generated by the proposed new algorithm converge strongly to a fixed point of quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces, which is also the unique solution of some variational inequality. Then this result is used to study the split equality fixed point problems, the split equality common fixed point problems, the split equality null point problems, etc. Our results improve and generalize many results in the literature and they should have many applications in nonlinear science.

The purpose of this paper is by using the shrinking projection method to study the split equality fixed point problem for a class of quasi-pseudo-contractive mappings in the setting of Hilbert spaces.Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems are obtained.As applications, we utilize the results presented in the paper to study the existence problem of solutions to the split equality variational inequality problem and the split equality convex minimization problem.The results presented in our paper extend and improve some recent results.

An iterative scheme is proposed for approximation of common element of set of solution of split equality fixed point problems for $$\eta $$-demimetric mappings, set of common fixed points of finite families of relatively quasi-nonexpansive mappings and set of common solutions of systems of equilibrium problems in specified real Banach spaces. Our theorems extend and compliment several existing results.

Let , and be real Hilbert spaces, let and be two bounded linear operators. Moudafi introduced simultaneous iterative algorithms with weak convergence for the following split common fixed-point problem:Section.Display where and are two firmly quasi-nonexpansive operators with nonempty fixed-point sets and . Note that, by taking and , we recover the split common fixed-point problem originally introduced by Cesnor and Segal. However, to employ Moudafi’s algorithms, one needs to know a prior norm (or at least an estimate of the norm) of the bounded linear operators. To estimate the norm of an operator is very difficult, if it is not an impossible task. In this paper, we will continue to consider the split common fixed-point problem (1) governed by the general class of quasi-nonexpansive operators. We introduce a simultaneous iterative algorithm with a way of selecting the stepsizes such that the implementation of the algorithm does not need any prior information about the operator norms. The weak convergence result of algorithm is obtained and some applied nonlinear analysis examples are stated.

We are concerned with a variational inclusion problem with two monotone mappings, and fixed-point problems of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and pseudocontractive mappings. A viscosity method is introduced and studied for the two problems. A convergence theorem in norm of common solutions is established in the setting of infinite dimensional real Hilbert spaces.

In the literature, various iterative methods have been proposed for finding a common solution of the classical variational inequality problem and a fixed point problem. Research along these lines is performed either by relaxing the assumptions on the mappings in the settings (for instance, commonly seen assumptions for the mapping involved in the fixed point problem are nonexpansive or strictly pseudocontractive) or by adding a general system of variational inequalities into the settings. In this paper, we consider both possible ways in our settings. Specifically, we propose an iterative method for finding a common solution of the classical variational inequality problem, a general system of variational inequalities and a fixed point problem of a uniformly continuous asymptotically strictly pseudocontractive mapping in the intermediate sense. Our iterative method is hybridized by utilizing the well-known extragradient method, the CQ method, the Mann-type iterative method and the viscosity approximation method. The iterates yielded by our method converge strongly to a common solution of these three problems. In addition, we propose a hybridized extragradient-like method to yield iterates converging weakly to a common solution of these three problems. MSC:49J30, 47H09, 47J20.

In this paper, we propose and study new inertial viscosity Tseng's extragradient algorithms with self-adaptive step size to solve the variational inequality problem (VIP) and the fixed point problem (FPP) in Hilbert spaces. Our proposed methods involve a projection onto a half-space and self-adaptive step size. We prove that the sequence generated by our proposed methods converges strongly to a common solution of the VIP and FPP of an infinite family of strict pseudo-contractive mappings in Hilbert spaces under some mild assumptions when the underlying operator is monotone and Lipschitz continuous. Furthermore, we apply our results to find a common solution of VIP and zero-point problem (ZPP) for an infinite family of maximal monotone operators. Finally, we provide some numerical experiments of the proposed methods in comparison with other existing methods in the literature.

An Inertial Type Algorithm for Extended Split Equality Variational Inclusion and Fixed Point Problems

A hybrid extragradient method for approximating the common solutions of a variational inequality, a system of variational inequalities, a mixed equilibrium problem and a fixed point problem

In this paper, we consider the split feasibility problem (SFP) in infinite‐dimensional Hilbert spaces and propose some subgradient extragradient‐type algorithms for finding a common element of the fixed‐point set of a strict pseudocontraction mapping and the solution set of a split feasibility problem by adopting Armijo‐like stepsize rule. In this paper, we introduce and analyze an iterative algorithm by the hybrid iterative method for finding a solution of the system of generalized equilibrium problems with constraints of several problems: a generalized mixed equilibrium problem, finitely many variational inclusions, and the common fixed point problem of an asymptotically strict pseudocontractive mapping in the intermediate sense and infinitely many nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space.
