Structuring co-operative learning experiences in primary school

The learning of the Koran Hadith in Darul Muttaqin Sadang's Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) has not yet reached the specified Minimum Affirmation Criteria, because there is no active involvement of students in learning. Then a strategy can be implemented that can improve the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith material in class IV (four). This study aims (1). Knowing the effectiveness of applying the cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (2). Knowing the increase in students' understanding by using the cooperative learning type Think Pair Share material content content Hadith in the learning of Al-Quran Hadith in MI Darul Muttaqin. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles, the research model conducted is the Kurt Lewin model, where in two cycles consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques obtained from observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that (1). The application of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model runs effectively through improvements in each cycle. In the process of teaching and learning it is known that the activities of teachers and students have increased from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II to the final score of 84.6 (good). (2). The score of students' pre-cycle comprehension of 55.9 (less) increased to 57.4 (sufficient) in cycle I. Classically it was not completed and did not meet the KKM, then increased in the second cycle to 82.4 (very good). Likewise with student mastery learning from the pre-cycle get a score of 8.2% (less) and increase to 13.5% (less) in the first cycle and for silus II to 97.3% (very good) according to the results of the study at MI Darul Muttaqin Sadang.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the application of the cooperative method script fourth grade students of SD Negeri 167647 Tebing Tinggi City. The cooperative script method is one of several methods in the cooperative learning model (Cooperative Learning). This method was proposed by Danserau and friends in 1985. Cooperative learning is a group learning activity to work together to help construct concepts, solve problems or inquiry (Suyatno, 2009: 51). From the results of the learning activities that have been carried out it can be concluded that the application of cooperative script learning methods has a positive impact in increasing students' interest and learning achievement on Indonesian language subjects in Class IV 167677 SD Negeri Tebing Tinggi which is characterized by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle. The application of the Cooperative Script method makes students more active, accountable for their assignments and delivers news / story ideas about Indonesian language learning material taught by teachers individually or in groups. Thematic learning in elementary schools often faces challenges such as monotony, lack of media variation, and low student motivation. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using pop-up book devices in theme-based learning and the impact of pop-up book devices on student achievement or learning outcomes in theme-based learning. The technique used in this study is Systematic Literature Review. In the search, a total of 4,700 scientific papers were found from 2015 to 2025, which were progressively and systematically selected down to 15 relevant scientific papers concerning the use of pop-up book learning media in theme-based learning and its influence on motivation and learning outcomes. The results and findings in the scientific paper indicate that the pop-up book device is proven to be effective in the thematic learning process at the elementary school level due to its attractive, interactive, and contextual nature. It encourages students' learning motivation both intrinsically and extrinsically, marked by increased active participation, curiosity, and student involvement in learning. The improvement in students' learning achievements after utilizing the pop-up book device includes cognitive aspects (understanding of the material), affective aspects (positive attitudes towards learning), and psychomotor aspects (creative and collaborative skills).

The background of this research is the anxiety of parents and teachers regarding the students' motivation and interest in learning which has decreased after the pandemic. This study aims to explore how the use of persuasive sentences can affect students in elementary schools. This study specifically focuses on identifying the views of parents and teachers in using persuasive sentences to increase students' interest in learning and create a conducive learning atmosphere. This study used a case study research design with the data collection using a qualitative approach by conducting interviews. The Data was collected in 2022 from 34 participants who were parents and teachers of elementary school students with 33 participants from the Bogor area and one person from the DKI Jakarta area. The results of data collection and analysis were made into several themes. The results showed that parents and teachers agreed that the use of persuasive sentences could increase interest in learning and change students' learning atmosphere. Good behavior changes are shown by students after parents and teachers use persuasive sentences. The atmosphere and interest in student learning can be changed with a sentence spoken by the teacher or the student's parents.

Abstract: There are many factors that cause low student learning outcomes. This factor is caused by a lack of student involvement in learning and a lack of application of learning models in class, so that students become passive and make students' understanding less than optimal. This problem can be overcome by using the make and match type cooperative learning model. The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes through the make and match type cooperative learning model in fiqh lessons on the Idain prayer material. This research was carried out at MI Sabilil Mukarromah Bercak Cermee Bondowoso. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with the research subjects being all 16 class IV students, 6 male students and 9 female students. The data collection methods used are documentation, interviews, observation and tests. Through two cycles, in each cycle there are 2 meetings applying the Make and Match Type Cooperative Learning model. Implementing the make and match type cooperative learning model in Fiqh lessons can successfully improve student learning outcomes. In Cycle I, classical completion was 50%, while in Cycle II it rose to 81.25%. So, the increase in classical completeness is 31.25%.

Interest is a feeling of liking or attraction to something or an activity without anyone asking or telling. This interest in learning can be influenced by many factors, including the student himself, family, and school. A student needs to have a good interest in learning (interest in learning) so that through the stage of interest in learning students can improve learning outcomes. Mathematics learning is a teaching and learning process built by teachers to develop students' creative thinking, and can improve the ability to construct new knowledge as an effort to improve good mastery of mathematics material. Mathematics is one of the most important subjects and is studied from elementary school, junior high school, high school to college. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were homeroom teachers for grade IV. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the role of teachers and teacher strategies in increasing interest in learning are as follows: (1) The role of teachers is very influential in increasing students' interest in learning. The role of teachers includes being class managers, class supervisors, and student motivators. These three things are interrelated in managing the class. Teachers can pay attention to students, facilitate deeper discussions, and provide learning strategies that are appropriate to students' needs. (2) Teacher strategies are very influential in increasing students' interest in learning. At SDN Burum, grade IV teachers use learning strategies including using cooperative learning, using learning media, and class discussion learning strategies.

This study aims to improve students' learning discipline in the Qur'an Hadith subject through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning learning model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 25 students of class VII MTs Babussalam Lanci 1 Dompu, as well as the Qur'an Hadith subject teacher who acted as a facilitator in the learning process. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure student learning outcomes, while observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities during the implementation of the Cooperative Learning learning model. The data analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis, which aims to see the development of student discipline before and after the implementation of the learning model. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning learning model was able to significantly improve student learning discipline. In the first cycle, student learning discipline began to show improvement, but there were still some obstacles in student active participation. After improvements were made in the second cycle, student discipline increased significantly with more students actively participating, completing assignments on time, and showing responsibility in learning. Thus, the use of the Cooperative Learning learning model can be used as an effective learning strategy in improving students' learning discipline in the Qur'an Hadith subject. This model not only increases student involvement in learning, but also helps them develop cooperation skills and responsibility in the learning process.

The importance of using media in the mathematics learning process has become the main focus in increasing the effectiveness and attractiveness of learning. One interesting approach is the development of opportunity card-based learning media. This research aims to develop and release opportunity card media as a mathematics learning aid that can increase students' understanding of concepts and interest in learning. This media development is carried out through the stages of requirements, design analysis, development and evaluation. The research method used is development research using the Kemp model which includes several stages, such as needs analysis, planning, development, implementation and evaluation. Each stage has specific steps that help process developers design and organize learning materials more effectively. The research subjects involved class XII students at SMA Negeri 62 Jakarta. The research results showed that the opportunity card media developed received a positive response from students and teachers. Understanding of mathematical concepts increased significantly, and students' interest in learning also increased. and also provide an interesting learning experience and can increase student involvement in learning.

The main purpose of this study was to assess perceptions, practices and challenges of female students in cooperative learning (one- in- five) at Mettu College of Teacher Education. To achieve this objective, descriptive case study research method was employed. The subjects of the study were 80 (22 low achievers,34 medium achievers, and 16 high achievers of third year regular female students,6 science and mathematics teachers, 1 vice dean and 1 gender office coordinator). Stratified sampling followed by Simple random sampling (lottery method) technique was employed to select the sample female students, purposive sampling technique was used to select the college and availability sampling method was employed for teachers, college vice dean and gender office coordinator. To gather the necessary data, questionnaire, focused grouped discussion, interview and document analysis were used. The gathered information was analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods of data analysis. The result of the study revealed that there were statistically no significant difference among high, medium and low achievers of female students’ perceptions to cooperative learning and they have strongly believed (M=4.3) the academic and social emotional benefits of cooperative learning (CL) in their teaching learning process. The study also showed that there was statistically significant difference among them in practicing the essential elements that are necessary to construct their effective cooperative learning experiences, with only few top female students, who were competent among the heterogeneous group members had above the expected practices. Whereas, all low achievers and majority of medium achievers of female students were practicing below the ordinary practice to accomplish a common goal and they were highly dominated by active male /female students of the group members. Their challenges in CL were extremely related to themselves and their male student group members, subject teachers and the college as well. Educators or in this case are lecturers or teachers have to concern about an effort of increasing students' mastery towards subject matter,some of which are by improving teaching and learning processes. The success of a student in mastering a subject while it is determined by the internal factors of students, such as the level of intelligence, craft, and perseverance, it is also determined by external factors, including the effectiveness of strategies and learning methods used during the teaching. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the application of inquiry methods can influence the results and learning interest of the second semesterof Civic Education subject at Counseling and Education Study Program. The benefits in this study were expected that the results can be further scientific study both for the researchers themselves and for other educators, so that there is an increase in the quality of education, especially in the efforts to improve student learning outcomes and interests. Based on the problems and studies above, the hypotheses in this study were: 1. Ha: there is an influence of the inquiry method application on learning outcomes in the subject of Civic Educationfor the second semester of the counseling study program; 2. Ha: there wasan influence of the inquiry method application on the learning interest in the Civic Education courses in the second semester students of the Guidance and Counseling study program. Based on the results obtained, It was clear that inquiry method succeeded in improving student learning outcomes because inquiry methods more interesting to learn than the lecturing method. Interest test results show that students' learning interest with inquiry methods was higher than the lecture method.

One of the models that encourage active learning, self-reliance and self-responsibility in students is STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) cooperative learning model through Edmodo. The application of this model is expected to improve student learning interest and achievement. The objectives of this study were: (1) Improving student learning interest in Cross Culture Understanding (CCU) course through the implementation of STAD cooperative learning models using Edmodo, and (2) Improving the achievement of students in Cross Culture Understanding (CCU) course through the application of STAD cooperative learning model using Edmodo. The participants are 37 college students in International Business Management. The result showed: (1) students’ learning interest, in general, has increased. Before implementing STAD using Edmodo, students’ learning interest was less than 50. After the model applied then in the first cycle students’ learning interest increased by 77.5% and increased again in the second cycle to 87.78%, and (2) the increasing percentage of competence in Cycle II of 87.78% compared to 64.86% in the first cycle by using the model of STAD Cooperative Learning. In conclusion, the student team achievement divisions technique can be applied through Edmodo to enhance students’ interest and learning achievement on the CCU course successfully.

Mathematical Conceptual Understanding (KPKM) of students needs to be improved because it is essential for their skills. This study aims to enhance KPKM by using the Teams Games Tournaments model through Sporcle (TGTS). The TGTS model was chosen because it combines elements of competition and games that can increase student participation and interest in learning. The method used is a quasi-experiment with the population consisting of all class X MIPA students in two classes, while the samples were class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and X MIPA 2 as the control class. Data were collected through student activity observation sheets, pretests and posttests, and learning interest questionnaires. After the research was conducted, data on student activity and learning interest were analyzed descriptively, while pretest and posttest data were analyzed using the independent t-test, two-way ANOVA, and N-gain. The results showed a significant difference in KPKM between students who learned using the TGTS model and those who learned with the conventional model. The results also showed that there was no significant interaction effect between the TGTS learning method and the level of students' learning interest on KPKM. This indicates that the TGTS model had a positive impact on students' mathematical conceptual understanding consistently, regardless of their learning interest level, whether high, medium, or low.

This study aims to support students on the material of the rice cultivation system (beume) of the Nanga Mahap Village community. The sub-objectives of this research are (1) the material for the cultivation system of the Nanga Mahap Village community, (2) the implementation of the teacher in explaining the material, (3) strengthening students on the material for the rice cultivation system (beume). This research uses a descriptive method. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by direct observation, direct communication, and documentation. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research show: (1) The people of Nanga Mahap Village refer to rice farming activities as beuma/beume. This farming tradition is traditional with a slash and burn system and then planting rice. (2) The implementation of the teacher in delivering lecture material and assignments. The assignment is in the form of students doing simple research on the farming system around their environment and inviting students to construct with cultivation in prehistoric times. (3) strengthening the rice cultivation system (beume) in the form of students' understanding of the material which is quite good, which is indicated by the active involvement of students in learning. This material makes students think contextually between the cultivation system of prehistoric times and the farming system (beume).

The 2013 curriculum emphasizes the importance of understanding the structure or important ideas of a discipline, through the active involvement of students in learning. Therefore, students must be thorough in understanding the material before continuing with the next material. This study aims to complete student learning outcomes after learning using google sites learning media on the subject of Particle Dynamics.The design of this research is a One-Shot Case Study. The population referred to in this study is all 38 students of class X MIPA 2 in even semesters at MAN 4 Denanyar Jombang in the academic year 2021/2022. The sample used in this study were 38 students of class X MIPA 2 as many as 38 students. The instrument used in this study was a learning outcome test sheet. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of google sites learning media on the subject of Particle Dynamics can complete student learning outcomes.
