Study and implementation of intelligent e-Learning system for modern spoken chinese

Real-time process algebra (RTPA) is a denotational mathematical structure for denoting and manipulating system behavioral processes. RTPA is designed as a coherent algebraic system for intelligent and software system modeling, specification, refinement, and implementation. RTPA encompasses 17 metaprocesses and 17 relational process operations. RTPA can be used to describe both logical and physical models of software and intelligent systems. Logic views of system architectures and their physical platforms can be described using the same set of notations. When a system architecture is formally modeled, the static and dynamic behaviors performed on the architectural model can be specified by a three-level refinement scheme at the system, class, and object levels in a top-down approach. RTPA has been successfully applied in real-world system modeling and code generation for software systems, human cognitive processes, and intelligent systems.

Non-intellectual factors in mathematics are key psychological factors that influence students’ cognitive activities and, consequently, their learning efficiency. While the assessment of these factors has gained increasing academic attention, research on the effective use of intelligent tools to assess and improve students’ non-intellectual factors remains insufficient. This study employed intelligent technology to develop the Intelligent Assessment and Strategy Implementation System for Non-intellectual Factors in Mathematics Learning for Primary and Secondary School Students, which integrates an assessment index system, scales, regional norms, and personalized improvement strategies, enabling it to automatically generate bulk reports on students’ non-intellectual factor scores across various dimensions and provide targeted improvement strategies. In order to test its effectiveness, the intelligent system was applied across several provinces, cities, and schools in China. Eleventh-grade students from X Middle School in T City served as a representative case study. The interventions were based on the strategies provided by the system, and the research consistently demonstrated that the “Intelligent Assessment and Strategy Implementation System of Mathematics Non-intellectual Factors for Primary and Secondary School Students” effectively delivers high-precision diagnoses and personalized intervention strategies.

Cargo operation is of great importance as far as the Chief Officer’s duties are concerned. “Cargo stowage and securing” is therefore one of the most important assessment courses for seafarers. The traditional assessment is however based on the subjective judgment by the assessors, which makes unfair treatment inevitably. Some seafarers even attempt to seek the unfair means in order to acquire high marks in the assessment. Such behaviors not only severely violate the fairness in light of assessment, but also eliminate the significance of evaluating the seafarers’ capabilities of cargo handling and the failure of which may cause vital incidents during sea passage. As a result, intelligent system of “cargo stowage and securing” assessment for seafarers is opt to be the first priority. This paper has studied the syllabus of “cargo stowage and securing”, whereupon framed a series of intelligent rules for the assessment and developed a set of intelligent assessment system based on B/S framework. The applicant is just required to answer the questions in the computer terminal and submit their answers once they have finished. This system will automatically provide the result and list down the losing marks where they failed if necessary. Applicants can make full use of this system for pre-exam practice and check the final result for the points where they fail. Thereby, the assessment result tends to be more convincing and reliable. This system has been successfully implemented for almost ten issue of assessment. The feedback from assessors appointed by MSA and students is quite optimistic. This system is deemed to be the pioneer in the field of assessment courses and classified as the first one within national domain by the experts from MSA. The paper investigates the problem of using fuzzy logic to build intelligent decision-making systems. The directions of application of fuzzy logic, as well as tools for modeling a fuzzy intelligent system for making decisions about the current state of an object are analyzed. The fuzzy logic is investigated and the corresponding fuzzy inference algorithm is chosen. All possible states of an intelligent system are determined, membership functions are constructed. Based on expert decisions, the system’s rule base was formed. For the practical implementation of an intelligent decision-making system, an air pollution analysis system was developed. This system allows assessing and making decisions about the current state of indoor air pollution.

This paper mainly studies the planning of intelligent transportation system in the era of artificial intelligence. The research content mainly includes: intelligent transportation system implementation mechanism, system application and empirical research. The research conclusion is as follows: First of all, the implementation mechanism and system application of China's intelligent transportation system are constantly improving in both technology and process. Second, Yunnan is the province with the highest public satisfaction of intelligent transportation system. Finally, relevant departments should strengthen the main role of construction, improve the traffic information platform, strengthen data management and enhance technological innovation, and strive to make China's intelligent transportation system development in the forefront of the world.

In order to improve the efficiency and level of enterprise performance appraisal and ensure the production and operation goals, a research on the design and implementation of an intelligent performance appraisal system based on MVC architecture is proposed. This research first proposes the overall structure of the system based on MVC architecture based on the basic principle of MVC design pattern, through system implementation modeling and data flow interface design, and finally verifies the reliability of the intelligent performance appraisal system through case studies. The experimental results show that when 600 experts are reviewing at the same time, the average response time for submitting the review form is 2.535 seconds, which is fast and can effectively improve the efficiency of assessment. Conclusion: The intelligent performance appraisal system based on MVC architecture proposed in this paper has fast response, reasonable structure and flexible framework, which provides a new solution for the establishment of intelligent performance appraisal management system.

In the paper, design and Implementation of cloud-dust based intelligent system is proposed. For achieving applications of intelligent system, such as records, surveillance, assessments, predictions, diagnosis, prescription, scheduling and fool-proofing checks, an architecture named Cloud-Dust is developed. The intelligent system is separated into the cloud system and the dust system. The dust system contains (1) Wireless sensors network (2) Features extraction circuits (3) Intelligent computing circuits (4) Embedded system. It can play a role as real-time preprocessor very well, just like an intelligent agent. However, the cloud system contains (1) Cloud database (2) Intelligent computing engine (3) Ubiquitous human-machine-interface. It can flexibly use computing resources and integrate information from many different dust systems. By the experiments, we can find the advantages of the cloud-dust based intelligent system. It meets the both needs of real-time and integration for intelligent systems. So it is necessary to develop the cloud-dust based system for design and implementation of the intelligent system.

Survey on Deep Neural Networks in Speech and Vision Systems

During road construction, the accuracy of compaction work is critical for the structural stability and maintenance of the road. Although the plate load test (PLT) is commonly used for quality inspections, it is impractical to test every section due to time and cost constraints. Therefore, simpler testing methods are being extensively developed. This study compared quality inspection results using the commonly used PLT, the relatively simple dynamic cone penetrometer test (DCPT), the lightweight deflectometer (LWD) test, and an intelligent quality control system equipped with accelerometer and global positioning system (GPS) sensors in intelligent compaction (IC) rollers. The results showed a strong correlation between the conventional tests (PLT, DCPT, and LWD) and the values obtained from the intelligent quality control system. The correlation analysis between the intelligent quality control system and PLT, LWDT, and DCPT yielded R-square values of 0.69, 0.91, and 0.95, respectively, indicating significantly high correlations. The implementation of intelligent quality management systems in earthwork construction projects will facilitate a thorough verification of the compaction quality throughout all construction segments, ensuring consistent compaction across the project. By enabling real-time data acquisition and analysis, these systems differ markedly from traditional methods, reducing the frequency and necessity of manual inspections. This approach not only streamlines construction processes, but also enhances operational efficiency. As a result, integrating these intelligent systems is anticipated to significantly increase productivity by optimizing the workflow and resource utilization in earthwork construction.

The urban intelligent traffic decision analysis system is a system designed to solve urban road traffic problems, improve traffic safety and comfort, and improve the level of traffic services. The application of big data mining technology can improve the ability of various types of road traffic information analysis and processing, expand the scope of application, and provide decision-making reference for the application of intelligent transportation systems, so as to ensure the smoothness and safety of roads. This article will introduce the concept of big data mining technology and intelligent transportation system, and analyze the architecture of urban traffic intelligent system based on big data technology and the design and implementation of mining system.

This study examines cross-functional teams and their impact in line with operational performance and system effectiveness after the implementation of intelligent information and retrieval systems in organisations. Multiple regression analysis was used to determine the structural relationships and look for the phenomenon of cross-functional teams, operational effectiveness, and system effectiveness in the betterment of operational performance. Preliminary findings suggest that the quality and speed from operational effectiveness and the quality of information and quality of the services from systems effectiveness are the two key factors for cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance.

This research is based on data from clinical information systems such as HIS, EMR, LIS, etc, based on the functions of the traditional paper bedside card, relying on wired network technology, using the Internet of Things technology to design and develop a multi-functional intelligent interactive electronic bedside card system for inpatients. The functional framework of the system is introduced and discussed in detail, and the design is carried out from several aspects of system architecture, network architecture, software architecture, database and software system. The results show that the system has stable performance and can ensure the real-time and accuracy of medical information. The implementation of the system can fully meet the needs of clinical first-line ward management, reduce the workload of nursing staff, improve work efficiency, and reduce the possibility of medical accidents. At the same time, it can facilitate patients to see their own health information, improve patient experience. It has important guiding significance for the development of ward management and hospital information construction.

With the rapid development of automobile technologies and great economic growth, cars have become more and more popular for their convenience. However, the increase in cars has caused serious air pollution and increased the probability of traffic accidents. This paper investigates the design and implementation of intelligent monitoring and early warning system, which can detect the traffic conditions and provide environmental monitoring data. To achieve a comprehensive monitor for both inside and outside the public transport, this system is based on the STC12C5A16S2 micro-controller and loaded with all kinds of sensors, such as alcohol sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, toxic gas sensors, photosensitive sensors and light sensors etc. If the system detects any abnormal situation, it will generate early warning signs in time to inform the driver and the traffic regulatory departments. Consequently, our intelligent monitoring system can protect the safety of passengers and reduce the incidence of traffic accidents.

In order to improve the accuracy of oral English intelligent tutor system and to improve students' oral English proficiency, this paper proposes a novel oral English intelligent tutor system based on phonetic evaluation technology. The system is based on speech evaluation technology and combines artificial intelligence technology and speech recognition technology. The results show that the oral English intelligent tutor system based on phonetic evaluation has a significant application effect, which can not only improve the accuracy of the oral English intelligent tutor system, but also enhance students' interest in oral English learning.

Computer-based educational systems are becoming increasingly important in all levels and types of education. Intelligent Educational Systems (IESs) are computer-based educational systems encompassing Artificial Intelligence schemes to increase the effectiveness of the learning process. In this paper, we survey patents regarding IESs. As IESs we consider either Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITSs) or Adaptive Educational Hypermedia Systems (AEHSs) incorporating intelligent techniques. We first present indicative functions implemented in the three basic components of an IES: the domain knowledge, the user (or student) modeling unit and the pedagogical module. Afterwards, we focus on representative patents concerning IESs and present the corresponding work. At the end, we outline current and future developments regarding IESs.
