The transition to digitalization and the implementation by digital technologies in all aspects of the economic and social life of society as a whole and of a person separately is turning into a driving force that ensures efficiency in such areas as the economy, society and improving life standards. In a broad sense, digitalization is seen as a key trend effective global development. At the same time, digital communication technologies (ICT) and their transformation must meet such requirements as widespread introduction into business production, science, the social sphere and the daily life of citizens. The ubiquitous coverage of digital technologies must also be accompanied by their accessibility for both professionals and ordinary citizens, that is, we are talking about the need for the availability and development of skills in working with information and communication technologies. The great possibilities of presenting digital information lead to the fact that digitalization is associated with the formation of a huge layer of platforms, among which ecosystems are innovative and highly relevant, which provides the user with the creation of a favorable environment and thus solve whole groups of problems. Objectives: To identify factors in digital information and communication devices that affect adolescents. Methods: A literature review was conducted involving research and analysis in a scientific database. Using inclusion and exclusion criteria, 8 articles were selected, providing significant insights into the topic. Results: The research, reading, and analysis of the obtained results highlighted four main themes: "Side effects of digital technology in adolescence"; "Adolescence shaped by digital technology"; "Digital adolescence: a call for further research"; and "Digital technology: not all thorns". Bardin's recommendations guided the systematic approach of this research. Final considerations: The study reveals various factors influencing behavior and potential risks to the mental health of adolescents as users of digital information and communication Technologies

The extensive adoption of social media (ie digital information and communications technology; artificial intelligence; machine learning; large language models) has implications for the social work profession’s standards and educational policy. The purposes of this study were to describe US social work students’ use, attitudes, and knowledge regarding social media and to compare these findings with a Fall 2019 national study. In Spring 2023, the authors sampled 160 universities with social work programs for the purpose of distributing a 56-item Qualtrics survey. Findings included: The concern over others’ social media use versus self-use remains inverted; decreased agreement that data protection is important despite endorsing it as a civil/human rights issue; decreased endorsement of law enforcement’s use of social media to assist in the apprehension of persons accused of committing a crime; decreased knowledge of racial bias in facial recognition technology; decreased confidence in the ability to identify disinformation; decreased endorsement that disinformation is a problem on social media; decreased knowledge that social media impact democratic processes; decreased knowledge of Net Neutrality; and, continued endorsement that social media belongs in the social work curriculum. The authors made recommendations for professional standards and educational policy, and government regulatory policy.

Background: The ubiquity, availability and exponential growth of digital information and communication technology (ICT) creates unique opportunities for learning and teaching in the senior secondary school biology curriculum. Digital technologies make it possible for emerging disciplinary knowledge and understanding of biological processes previously too small, large, slow or fast to be taught. Indeed, much of bioscience can now be effectively taught via digital technology, since its representational and symbolic forms are in digital formats. Purpose: This paper is part of a larger Australian study dealing with the technologies and modalities of learning biology in secondary schools. Sample: The classroom practices of three experienced biology teachers, working in a range of NSW secondary schools, are compared and contrasted to illustrate how the challenges of limited technologies are confronted to seamlessly integrate what is available into a number of molecular genetics lessons to enhance student learning. Design and method: The data are qualitative and the analysis is based on video classroom observations and semi-structured teacher interviews. Results: Findings indicate that if professional development opportunities are provided where the pedagogy of learning and teaching of both the relevant biology and its digital representations are available, then teachers see the immediate pedagogic benefit to student learning. In particular, teachers use ICT for challenging genetic concepts despite limited computer hardware and software availability. Conclusion: Experienced teachers incorporate ICT, however limited, in order to improve the quality of student learning.

Social media, network capabilities, and digital communication technologies are changing the nature of work for individuals in WIL programs; further challenging the connections between industries and universities in their efforts to ensure individuals are work ready. However, digital technologies have provided new resources to help individuals socialize into the workplace and develop new skills for meeting the challenges of the information age that will also impact on how they get a job, and then do that job. The current literature on WIL, organizational behavior, and remote working, provides a theoretical framework for identifying the key points on the transitions experienced by individuals through WIL using the prism of social media, digital technologies, and the changes in work culture through remote working. Key issues in relation to transition are illustrated using two examples: one French and the other Canadian. The French study examines the effects of social media and digital technologies on individuals in WIL programs in relation to developing work readiness skills and communicating with supervisors and coworkers. The Canadian example examines the challenges internship students face when their workplace is predicated on remote working. The impact of social media, digital and communication technologies present new challenges for fulfilling the objectives of WIL programs and ensuring students are ready for work now and in the future.

One of the great challenges faced by education is to reflect on the effective uses of digital information and communication technologies, in order to provide students with contextualized and meaningful learning. Therefore, the objective of the article is to reflect on the effective uses of digital information and communication technologies in education in these technological times, to achieve other ways of providing education. The teaching of programming can generate stimuli for the development of computational thinking, allowing the child to become a builder of digital artifacts. We emphasize, therefore, that our study is theoretical and reflective, consisting of bibliographical research, with contributions from Castells (1999), Coll and Monereo (2010), Papert (1994), Selwyn (2017), among other scholars. We present, at first, an explanation about the constructionist approach and education, based on the studies of its creator Seymour Papert. In a second moment, we reflect on teaching programming to children to then contextualize the computational thinking and implementation strategies adopted. From this study, we glimpse a horizon of possibilities for the necessary paradigm shift in education.

The urgency of studying the problems of rights and freedoms in the information and communication activities of modern humans is determined by the fact that they exist due to the spread of all new knowledge through the growing functionality of digital information and communication technologies and information processing systems. It begins to rethink the role and significance of the country's information resource. At the same time, the very concept of "information" from the category, which for centuries characterized the system of knowledge, is transforming. The purpose of the study is the conceptualization of rights and freedoms in the information and communication activities of a modern person, which is conditioned by the dissemination of new knowledge through the use of functional capabilities of digital information and communication technologies and information processing systems. Tasks of the research: analysis of technological, ideological and legal problems of the global information and communication space; definition of the conceptual-categorical apparatus of the research - "information", "knowledge", "information security", "jurisdiction of states in the conditions of globalization", "monopolization of legal force" and their influence on the development of information and communication activities of society; formation of the directions of increase of the state information and communication activity of Ukraine for realization of constitutional rights of citizens; consider information law as a science, which allows a new way to consider communication processes that have infocommunication technological horizontals and based on the understanding of the resource of knowledge. The analysis of the latest research and publications that initiated the solution of this problem: the use of articles by O. Dzhoban, O. The methodology of the research is systematic, structural, structural and functional methods, which allowed to structure the problems and to identify functional relationships between them. Scientific novelty - in the formulation of the very problem - rights and freedoms in the information and communication activities of the modern person. Results of the research: the issue of training specialists for the legislative definition of the problems of information and communication, analytical, informational and advocacy and management work in the information sphere; The main information and communication threats to the safety of innovation processes in Ukraine were identified. In this Q&A, the Review talks to Delphine van Solinge and Massimo Marelli of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Van Solinge is the ICRC's focal point for understanding how digital technologies and the spread of harmful information affect populations living in conflict environments, and what this means for humanitarian action. To this end, her portfolio is focused on exploring, on behalf of the ICRC and through partnerships, how to mitigate the risks that digital technologies bring in humanitarian settings and ensure relevant protection responses in the digital age. Marelli is Head of the ICRC's Data Protection Office (DPO). During his tenure with the ICRC, the organization has chartered new pathways for how it can carry out its operational work, while ensuring that the data of the affected people which it serves, as well those of its employees, are well protected.During this conversation, van Solinge and Marelli discuss how their areas of work complement and reinforce each other, forming two halves of the same coin with regard to how digital information and data can both be used for positive change and misused in humanitarian settings. Marelli highlights how humanitarian organizations process, protect and use data and digital information. Van Solinge discusses how through misinformation, disinformation and hate speech, information can be manipulated and spread using digital technologies – particularly in the age of the COVID-19, when populations are more reliant on digital communication technologies. Among the issues they discuss are how digital technologies can be used positively, the ethical considerations that humanitarian organizations should take into account, and the possible paths forward for public–private sector collaborations on this theme.

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the practice of digital leadership and information technology among public school principals in the Southern Mazar District from their point of view. The study sample consisted of (64) principals, and to collect data, a questionnaire was developed that consisted of three main dimensions (visionary leadership, learning culture in the age of digital technology, excellence in professional practices). Its validity and reliability were confirmed, and the study used the descriptive approach to suit the purposes of this study, and the study concluded: The decrease in the effectiveness of the practice of digital leadership and information technology among government school principals in the Southern Mazar Brigade from their point of view. In the field of excellence in professional practice, learning culture in the age Digital and Medium for visionary leadership. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05), in the effectiveness of the practice of digital leadership and information technology among government school principals in the Southern Mazar District from their point of view, according to gender, educational qualification. Based on the results of the study, some recommendations were made, including raising the educational level of school workers, working to provide electronic programs for the work environment to keep pace with the development of work in the public and private sectors. The Covid-19 pandemic affected the teaching-learning process of several students, and more than a year after the start of emergency remote teaching, the impacts of school closures are still present. In this context, a report is presented about two projects resulting from supervised internships in School Psychology carried out in public schools in São Paulo, whose objectives were to contribute to the teaching-learning process of students and reaffirm the possibilities of intervention by School Psychology in facing the challenges posed by the pandemic. To this end, different digital information and communication technologies were used, such as social media, digital booklets and video call platforms, to intervene with groups of Elementary and High School students. Such strategies made it possible to offer welcome to students and promote reflection about the importance of remaining at school and preserving bonds with colleagues and teachers, despite physical distancing and remote teaching.

Economic development has long acknowledged the significance of financial innovation and technological advancement. Communication technology increases the availability of information, generates new modes of communication, restructures production processes, and enhances the efficacy of a wide range of economic operations. This study investigates the effects of digital financial inclusion and information and communication technology (ICT) on economic growth in 38 OECD nations between 2004 and 2020, with a focus on the contributions of financial development and investments in non-financial assets. To this end, advanced econometric methodologies are employed to conduct an exhaustive empirical analysis utilizing second-generation panel unit root and cointegration techniques. The results demonstrate a positive correlation between digital financial inclusion, information and communication technology, population growth, and non-financial investments in OECD nations. It is recommended that OECD policymakers promote digital financial inclusion by utilizing cost-effective digital technologies to reach currently financially excluded and underserved populations. This can be achieved through a variety of formal financial services that are tailored to their needs and responsibly delivered at a cost that is affordable to customers and sustainable for providers. Moreover, policymakers are recommended to promote information and communication technologies that strengthen the means for implementing Sustainable Development Goals through international cooperation and coordination, technology transfer, capacity building, strengthening multi-stakeholder partnerships, and data monitoring and accountability. Finally, a detailed conclusion is provided to discuss the research limitations and future directions.

Основные цифровые технологии - это «большие данные», искусственный интеллект, блокчейн, робототехника, а также новые технологии виртуальной и дополненной реальностей. Реализация алгоритмов и программного обеспечения для верификации больших программ для облачных приложений является одной их ключевых областей исследований и разработок в сфере ИКТ. Отмечается необходимость создания неокластеров для инновационного промышленного развития, так как неокластеризация - это процесс организации и деятельности кластеров на основе цифровых информационно-коммуникационных технологий. The economic and production essence of information and communication technologies (ICT) is considered, as well as their importance for the development of digital industrial production. Digital manufacturing - a way to organize efficient production based on the integrated application of highly integrated computer automation technologies, and the digital enterprise includes digital and integrated processes, products and business models. The main digital technologies are "big data," artificial intelligence, blockchain, robotics, as well as new technologies of virtual and augmented realities. To solve the problems associated with the rapid increase in the volume of unstructured information and the needs for processing its huge amounts, methods of semantic analysis of texts and technologies for working with extremely large amounts of data are being developed. The implementation of algorithms and software for the verification of large programs for cloud applications is one of the key areas of research and development in the field of ICT. The need to create neoclusters for innovative industrial development is noted, since neoclustering is the process of organizing and operating clusters based on digital information and communication technologies.

A expansão do uso das tecnologias digitais de informação e comunicação causa impacto social e quebra as barreiras físico-geográficas, permitindo o surgimento de uma nova cultura digital. Esse fato exige uma posição crítica em relação às tecnologias, bem como a revisão das formas tradicionais de ensino. Metodologias ativas de aprendizagem e as possibilidades trazidas com a aplicação das novas tecnologias digitais em contexto educacional são forças que se demonstram importantes neste cenário (Garbin; Oliveira, 2019). Neste contexto, este artigo analisará os projetos propostos pelos alunos de Licenciatura sob dois prismas: a articulação dos conteúdos curriculares para a resolução de um problema e a utilização dos princípios das metodologias ativas no cumprimento das etapas do projeto. O cenário escolhido foi uma universidade no Estado de São Paulo durante o desenvolvimento de um processo de aprendizagem baseado em projetos com os alunos, estabelecido em seu currículo.. Para tanto, foram selecionados aleatoriamente quatro projetos desenvolvidos durante o segundo ano dos cursos de Licenciatura em Matemática e Pedagogia. A análise dos dados baseou-se na averiguação de três aspectos: problema identificado; protótipo; interdisciplinaridade. Foi possível perceber que os projetos desenvolvidos geraram práticas pedagógicas que preconizam o perfil de um professor criativo e crítico, que busca atender às necessidades de seus alunos, de acordo com o contexto educacional.

The main purpose of teaching translation is to promote students' English learning and cultivate English application ability through translation activities. As a kind of language teaching method, the development of translation activities should serve the teaching goals of the whole classroom, and combine with other teaching methods to jointly promote the improvement of students' English comprehension ability and application ability. The full use of digital information technology and digital resources in English translation teaching will greatly improve the effect of college English translation teaching. In order to deeply explore the role of digital information technology in English translation teaching, we have carried out research on the reform and exploration of English translation teaching based on digital information technology. This paper first discusses the teaching of English translation and its basic methods. This paper will combine the background of digital information teaching to analyze how to apply digital information technology and digital teaching resources in college English translation teaching, so as to improve the teaching effect of college English translation. Cultivate students' interest in learning and enhance students' translation ability. By using the image extraction method, the multimedia construction method and the classroom learning contrast method in the digital information technology, the sample is collected, the technical framework is analyzed, and the algorithm is simplified. And create a digital information technology teaching model. The experimental results of this paper show that the accuracy of dictionary translation is 44.5% by comparing the methods based on digital information technology and resources. The accuracy of the g and b translations is slightly lower than that of the dictionary method, with an accuracy of 40.5%. And the translation method based on digital information technology and resources has the highest accuracy rate of 79.8%. This essentially verifies the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed translation teaching method.

In this study, we present the results of a master's research that investigates the inputs of the digital literacy to the writing acquisition process of students-subjects from the 1 st degree of Elementary Schoolinitial degrees. The Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICTs) are responsible to provoke changes in the discursivity in the world, in the historical, social and ideological relations, in the realms of work, mobility and in the scientific investigation. Due to these transformations, there are, in the current schools, studentssubjects considered "digital natives", which does not take as meaningful the learning practices carried by teacher-subjects circumscribed in the "digital migrants" interdiscourse. In the opposite way, these students conform themselves to different types of virtual games, that produce meanings to these students-subjects by its ludic architecture. The unrest school, provoked by the existent gap between the teaching and the learning processes, it is not just a phenomenon of generation conflict. This situation also mirrors the loss of the school efficacy as institution that docilize bodies through the disciplinary architecture, such as a mechanism that produces obedient minds in order to keep the "machine" working well. Its analogical instrument, however, does not make sense in a society whose the model-institution is the corporation, that emphasizes the individual performance, attributing to the subjects the responsibility for the success or the failures in their lives.
