The design and implementation of automatic access control system based on the face recognition

This paper aims to discuss the design and implementation of automatic control system for chemical production line based on PLC. With the rapid development of chemical industry and the intensification of market competition, it has become an important demand for chemical enterprises to improve production efficiency, ensure product quality and realize automation and intelligence of production process. Firstly, this paper analyzes the characteristics and requirements of chemical production line, as well as the requirements and objectives of automatic control system. Then, the overall architecture design, hardware design, software design, system implementation and testing process of the automatic control system of chemical production line based on PLC are described in detail. The feasibility and effectiveness of the system are verified by the analysis of practical application cases. The research results show that the automatic control system of chemical production line based on PLC can significantly improve production efficiency, reduce production costs, ensure product quality and enhance the market competitiveness of chemical enterprises. The research in this paper provides new ideas and methods for the design and implementation of automatic control system in chemical industry.

The design and basic implementation of hydrostatic pressure tests automatic control system on oil pipeline(bolster) by siemens PLC and Huabei IPC were elaborated in the paper. The hardware and software flow chart on electrical controls were explained, the application interface was showed. From the actual conditions, the systems possess trusty running and high cost-effective and promotion prospects.

In a logistics warehouse with high storage density, conflicts between items often occur during warehouse management due to the coupling of space between transportations and storages. This paper designs and implements a warehouse automatic transport control system (ATCS). Besides, a special path planning strategy based on Reverse Escort Algorithm (REA) is applied in the target warehouse. Based on the realistic warehouse model, the algorithm is improved to be more convenient for practical implementation. Simulation results prove the effectiveness and optimization effect of the proposed path planning algorithm.

Aiming at the problems of long response time and poor anti-interference ability of traditional vacuum nano-coating automatic control system, a design of vacuum nano-coating automatic control system based on AVR single-chip microcomputer is proposed. The use of ATmega128L microcontroller and Harvard architecture improves the parallel processing efficiency of the microcontroller. Select the transient voltage suppression diode to protect the power supply of the single-chip microcomputer, optimize the communication circuit, connect an external encryptor to realize the data encryption function, increase the filtering program and optimize the binary code processing function. Using PID (Packet Identifier) control algorithm, the design of nano-coating vacuum automatic control system based on AVR single-chip microcomputer is realized. Compared with the traditional system, when the simulation model and system parameters of the control system constructed in the environment change, the proposed system can be stabilized within 15 seconds, and can be stabilized for 13 seconds after the interference signal is added. The response time of the system is longer. Shorter, stronger anti-interference ability, more suitable for automatic control of vacuum nano-coating.

Automatic control system for buildings consists of many subsystems such as, heating and ventilation, fire protection, elevator, cold/hot water supply, Security and access control, power distribution and monitoring, parking management etc. In the paper, the water circulating subsystem and air conditioning units monitoring and control subsystem are treated as a central air-conditioning automatic control system, and ultimately, in accordance with MODBUS RTU or Profibus protocol, are integrated into the overall building automation system to solve the network communication problems in the building automation network due to the inconsistency of subsystem equipment by different manufacturers.

Melon and fruit sorting system is mainly used in the agricultural field, can be sorted according to the size of melon and fruit, thus improving the efficiency of melon and fruit sorting. The system is mainly composed of controller, conveyor belt conveyor system, weight measurement system, fruit position detection system, fruit selection system and so on. In the system, the SCM STM32F103C8T6 is used as the main controller, and the M1 card is brushed on the reader to identify the kinds of fruits. After confirmation, the corresponding fruits are put on the tray of the weighing sensor to measure. The processor processes and judges the measured values, completes the classification of large, medium and small, controls the corresponding LED indicator lights, indicating that the melons and fruits belong to the same category. Which kind of size, at this time the conveyor belt motor start, and then pick up the analog melon and fruit on the conveyor belt, after infrared probe detection object trajectory, to the melon and fruit transmission to the size of the corresponding position, DC motor stopped running, the corresponding LED indicator lights, complete the transmission of melon and fruit classification. Repeat execution to achieve the purpose of sorting. The experimental results show that the automatic sorting system can distinguish the size of melons and fruits according to the weight of melons and fruits, achieve more accurate sorting effect, fast speed, small error, and can be applied to actual production.

Based on the algorithm and control strategies of automatic transmission in the Truck, electronic control unit (ECU) are designed. Furthermore, a design model is applied to optimize shift quality and also to reduce test time. The circuit diagram of electronic control unit (ECU) hardware composes of power supply module, signal input channels, signal output channels, data storage module, driver circuits, and communication interface module. They are designed and then ECU hardware is manufactured. Installed in TEREX TR100 mining truck, the test results of ECU system is satisfied and worked stably and reliably.

The main challenges related to water affect human settlements' sustainability: the lack of access to safe and clean water at all times. These problems have massive consequences on human health, safety, economic growth, and development. Rujban city faces this crisis despite more than five decades trying to resolve this problem. In this paper, we describe the existing water supply system, which consists of three main components: Karthoom Automated Control System (KACS), Idref Automated Control System 1 (IACS1), and Idref Automated Control System 2 (IACS2). We propose the control system design of the KACS to meet the city's demand and keep the collecting tank with an acceptable level of water continuously. This paper presents the Karthoom Automatic Control System (KACS) design to control the water supply system using the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). PLC controller is a central part of the proposed automatic control system due to its reliability and ease of installing and maintenance. Besides, we use PLC to carry out the water level control, sequencing, monitoring, display, and control functions, such as logic, sequence, timing, counting, and arithmetic logic. To maintain an appropriate water level in the collecting tank, we control the operation of the feeding submersible pumps ("on" or "off") by sensing the collecting tank's water levels. This is accomplished by utilizing four-stage-level sensors, seven water flow sensors, and an RF transmitter/receiver to monitor and control all pumps' operations and protect them from dry running and then accomplish the sensing stage. We introduce the control system components, the operation flow chart, and the proposed system's implementation. Finally, we implemented and conducted a simulation experiment using the Siemens S7-200 PLC to control the overall water supply system and evaluate the proposed control approach's performance.

The technological process of water treatment automatic control of the steelmaking converter, hardware and software design of the control system are introduced in this paper. The design and realization of water supply automatic control system are based on the S7-400 Programmable Logic Controller.

Nowadays Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (UAV) technology has been developed rapidly, including in Indonesia. LAPAN Surveillance UAV (LSU)-02 is one of the fixed-wing UAVs in Indonesia. It has been developed by LAPAN, the national aerospace research agency of Indonesia, for mapping and surveillance. The UAV has been equipped with automatic flight control system. However, the automatic system was not made based on the flight dynamic characteristic of the UAV. Therefore, optimization in certain flight condition becomes difficult. Hence, the aim of this research is to develop a mathematical model of LSU-02 for automatic control and guidance system design. A 6-DOF (degree of freedom) non-linear mathematical model was build based on aerodynamics, weight and balance, and propulsion of the UAV. The model is then evaluated by performing numerical simulation on the designed cruise condition. The simulation results show a dynamically stable characteristics for longitudinal motion and an unstable characteristic for lateral-directional motion.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a control system that integrates visual and haptic information to give assistive force feedback through a haptic controller (Omni Phantom) to the user. A sensor-based assistive function and velocity scaling program provides force feedback that helps the user complete trajectory following exercises for rehabilitation purposes. This system also incorporates a PUMA robot for teleoperation, which implements a camera and a laser range finder, controlled in real time by a PC, were implemented into the system to help the user to define the intended path to the selected target. The real-time force feedback from the remote robot to the haptic controller is made possible by using effective multithreading programming strategies in the control system design and by novel sensor integration. The sensor-based assistant function concept applied to teleoperation as well as shared control enhances the motion range and manipulation capabilities of the users executing rehabilitation exercises such as trajectory following along a sensor-based defined path. The system is modularly designed to allow for integration of different master devices and sensors. Furthermore, because this real-time system is versatile the haptic component can be used separately from the telerobotic component; in other words, one can use the haptic device for rehabilitation purposes for cases in which assistance is needed to perform tasks (e.g., stroke rehab) and also for teleoperation with force feedback and sensor assistance in either supervisory or automatic modes.

At the University of Nevada, Reno, we strongly believe that effective control system education must include experimental exercises that complement the theory presented in lectures. Preferably, the exercises should include the design and implementation of a control system. Limited resources and a cap on the number of credit hours required for the undergraduate degree make it impossible to offer a laboratory course with every control class in most electrical engineering curricula. We have solved this problem by including a laboratory project in each of our two senior electives. Each project is a comprehensive modeling, analysis, design and implementation of a physical control system. The students are divided into groups and each group must independently complete the design project and submit a formal report summarizing their results and experiences. Each student must submit an individual commentary on the exercise and the experimental results obtained. Student feedback indicates an increased appreciation of the lecture material and an awareness of the limitations of the theory and simulation that was lacking prior to the introduction of laboratory exercises.

As the working medium of hydraulic system, the temperature of hydraulic oil has a great influence on working performance of the machine. Taking the sampling robot as the research object, while in order to monitor and adjust the hydraulic oil temperature and solve the difficulty problem of uneven temperature distribution in oil tank caused by heat transfer hysteresis of hydraulic oil, automatic control system of coal sampling robot hydraulic system oil temperature of STM32 mcu is presented. The system with DS18B20 temperature sensors, which can realize the temperature real-time measurement of hydraulic system and the automatic control of oil temperature in hydraulic system of the robot has the characteristics of multi point real time data acquisition, strong anti-interference ability, simple and practical. Based on BP neural network multiple nonlinear fitting characteristics of oil temperature prediction, control air cooler speed and reduce energy consumption. Introduces the working principle and design scheme of the automatic control system of coal sampling robot oil temperature in hydraulic system, and expounds the design and development process.

Lots of people in this world lack electricity and modern lighting. This problem is severe in rural areas. In most schools, houses, and offices, the management of the lighting system is done manually as per requirement. As the world is advancing, automation develops and spreading everywhere. In this paper, an automatic light switch device is controlled by face recognition. Face Recognition Automation (FRA) is a biometric recognition technology for processing information about facial features. Like other automation, it has the advantage: Faster processing of recognizing a face takes a second or less. The studies provide development and advancement of automation control in the individual room. The primary purpose of this paper is to improve automation control in the designated room. This paper aims to develop an automated program of accessibility in outlets and switching ON/OFF of lights. Having an auto switch and auto access by a face recognition control results in greater safety, flexibility, reliability, and much more precise data. The implementation of the entire Automatic lighting control system has been carried out using Raspberry PI 3B+. The software for controlling the relay switch for switching on and off the light based on the input from the sensor resides inside the microcontroller unit of Raspberry PI 3B+. The code for a sample node has was developed and executed. In operating, the user will just look in-front of the camera and let the camera recognize the pickles and send data to the Raspberry Pi 3b+ and then send a wavelength to the relay that makes lights and outlet on/off. Therefore, Face recognition is one of the best ways of operating that is invented in terms of automation. The face recognition system does not need physical contact with any machine upon operating, and Face recognition is easy to operate, especially for disabled people. The researchers encounter many errors in doing the research. Number one is the delay recognition and Multiple functions of switching. However, the system could be enhanced by replacing more power full camera and powerful board.

The design of automatic control system mounted on the suspended access platform is put forward. With advantages of the microcontroller in real time data acquisition and data processing, PIC16F877A is applied as controller of the system. Angle sensor and pull sensor are applied as measuring elements of the system. The control system can implement functions of automatic leveling and overload protection. The new automatic control device is tested to be easy to operate and high reliability. It completely meets requirements and suits for multi-series specifications suspended access platforms, worth to be widely extended in applications.
