Unique Approach of Movie Rating Prediction Using Support Vector Machine Algorithm and K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm

This research aims to categorize survey data to determine the level of satisfaction with the services provided by the village government as a public service provider. Villages or sub-districts currently offer services in response to community demand, although only partially or as efficiently as possible. The data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires to the village community. The method used for classification is the machine learning method. Before the classification process, feature selection is carried out at the data pre-processing stage using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), which has been proven to increase the accuracy of the classification values. The classification methods employed include Decision Tree (DT), Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithms for classification purposes. This study achieves the maximum level of accuracy in decision tree classification, attaining an accuracy rate of 97.74%. Subsequently, the KNN algorithm achieved an accuracy of 77.90%, the Nave Bayes algorithm achieved 64.4%, and the SVM algorithm, which yielded the lowest accuracy value, achieved 59.90%. Following the application of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for optimization, the accuracy of the SVM and KNN algorithms improved to 98.3%. The Decision Tree algorithm achieved a value of 97.77%, while the Naive Bayes technique yielded a value of 69.30%.

The aim of this article is to measure the performance metrics of an accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of the Novel Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm for diabetics detection and compared with a K Nearest Neighbour (KNN) algorithm. Materials and Methods: A total of 768 samples are collected from diabetics detection datasets found in kaggle. These samples are divided into a training dataset (n=500) and test dataset (n=268). Results: By comparing the Novel Support Vector Machine with KNN. The SVM has achieved better accuracy and specificity than the KNN and the KNN has better Sensitivity than the SVM algorithm. The output values of accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of the SVM are 79%, 93% and 58%. The output values of accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of the KNN algorithm are 63%, 39% and 100%. The significance value is Pi0.05. The G power is taken as 0.8. Conclusion: The output values of accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of the Novel SVM are 79%, 93% and 58%. Purpose: Listening to music has a great impact on people's emotions and would change brain activity. In other words, music-induced emotions are trackable in electrical brain activities. Therefore, Electroencephalography can be a suitable tool to detect these induced emotions. The present study attempted to use electroencephalography in to recognize four types of emotions (happy, relaxing, stressful, and sad) induced in response to listening to music excerpts, using three classifiers.
 Materials and Methods: In this empirical study, electroencephalography signals were collected from 20 participants, as they were listening to pieces of selected music. The collected data were then pre-processed, and 28 linear and nonlinear features for recognizing the aforementioned emotions were extracted. Feature-space components were then reduced through a principal components analysis. Finally, the first ten components of feature-space were used as input for three classifiers based on Neural Network (NN), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms to identify the induced emotions.
 Results: The outputs showed that the suggested method was well capable of emotion recognition. Evaluating the music excerpts, on the self-assessment manikin scale, demonstrated that the labeling of the music tracks was accurate. The highest accuracy found among NN, KNN, and SVM algorithms were %84, %84, and %89 for happy emotions, respectively.
 Conclusion: The findings of this study provide useful insights into emotion classification and brain behavior related to induced emotion extraction. Happiness was the most recognizable emotion and the support vector machine had the highest performance among the classifiers. In the end, the outcomes of the proposed method demonstrate that this system is better than the previous research in EEG-based emotion recognition.

This study compares the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms in predicting customer satisfaction at Warung Makan Indomie (Warmindo). The research process consists of four stages, namely: data collection, data processing, model formation, and model evaluation. This study aims to compare the performance of two classification algorithms, namely K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM), in predicting customer satisfaction levels based on survey data. The evaluation was carried out using accuracy metrics and classification reports to determine the level of precision, recall, and f1-score of each algorithm. The evaluation results show that both algorithms have the same accuracy of 70%. KNN excels in f1-score in class 2 (0.70), while SVM excels in precision in class 2 (0.79). with an average score of both algorithms being 0.61. These results indicate that both KNN and SVM are feasible to use, depending on the performance priority per class

Air pollution has become one of the biggest environmental challenges worldwide, and Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, is no exception. Jakarta, as one of the most populous cities in the world, faces serious problems in ensuring healthy air quality for its residents. The impact of this air pollution is not only limited to human health, but also damages the environment as a whole, including plants and aquatic ecosystems. In an effort to address this issue, many studies have been conducted to develop prediction models that can provide estimates of air quality levels in Jakarta City. Two modeling models that can be used in this context are Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). This study aims to compare the performance of the SVM algorithm model with the KNN algorithm in the classification of air quality in Jakarta City. Data mining is the art and science of discovering knowledge, insights, and patterns in data based on the CRISP -DM (Cross Industry Standard Process For Data Mining) methodology. The data source in this study is the Jakarta air pollution standard index (ISPU) data obtained on the satudata.jakarta.go.id website. This study compares the accuracy of the Jakarta City air quality classification on the Support vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithms using python. Comparison results are determined by the level of accuracy and score of the confusion matrix. Classification results are presented in the form of a Graphic User Interface with media interface. The comparison of classification algorithms on two models in data mining shows that the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm is superior to K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). This is evident from the higher accuracy rate in SVM, especially with the use of the Rbf kernel which reaches 97.05%, compared to KNN which has an accuracy of 94.74% with parameters p = 1 and k = 5. In addition, SVM also shows a higher correct prediction value compared to KNN. In a 1-year time span the overall quality may be quite good, with moderate quality at more than equal to 50 to 100. However, control is still needed for the unhealthy category areas.

Rice is the primary food source for the Indonesian population, making it a priority commodity in Indonesia. Rice production plays a significant role in Indonesia's economic development, with high-yield rice varieties being crucial for enhancing national rice output. Ensuring food security requires the selection of superior rice varieties with optimal quality. This study evaluates various high-yield rice varieties, including INPARA, INPARI, INPAGO, and HIPA, based on characteristic data collected in 2023. Machine learning algorithms, increasingly central to data analysis, were applied, leveraging labeled data suitable for supervised learning methods. During the pre-processing stage, it was determined that the data did not meet the linearity assumption. Thus the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm was modified with the Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel to better handle non-linear data. Additionally, the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm, a traditional method, was used for comparison. The results indicate that SVM with the RBF kernel achieved faster processing times and the accuracy value reaches 96%, nearly 10% higher than the KNN algorithm.

According to statistics from the Global Burden of Cancer Study (Globocon) of the World Health Organization (WHO), cancer, particularly breast cancer, is a severe health issue in Indonesia with 68,858 new cases and 22,000 deaths recorded in 2020. Ultrasonography (USG) technology is acknowledged as one of the potentials to support early detection, which is vital in reducing mortality from breast cancer. This study focuses on classifying ultrasound images using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm, GLCM feature extraction, Min-Max normalization, and Mutual Information with SelectKBest Feature Selection. From several experiments using the SVM algorithm with various combinations of parameter values that have been set and different Tests, namely using a Train/Test Split with a proportion of 80/20 and K-Fold Cross Validation, it shows that the SVM algorithm is capable of classifying ultrasound images of breast cancer. into two categories (Benign Tumor and Malignant Tumor) with the same maximum accuracy of 79% after applying the SMOTE Balancing Data technique or without using the Balancing Data technique. As a result, the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm has the potential to be an effective model for identifying breast cancer ultrasound images, both on data from the original set that has not been balanced and data from the set that has been balanced.

Sentiment analysis on the satisfaction level of PDDikti operators is very important to find out how PDDikti operators feel after the version of the academic reporting application for higher education was upgraded, namely Neo Feeeder. The increase in the version of this application causes some of the features in it to not function properly. So some academic reporting activities from tertiary institutions experience problems. As a result of this condition, the most felt impact is students, where students experience delays in graduation. Then it is necessary to evaluate through sentiment analysis from PDDikti operators to find out the response from operators and be able to provide positive suggestions to developers from the PDDikti reporting application. This study applies several classification methods for sentiment analysis at once, including the Random Forest algorithm, the Support Vector Machine algorithm, the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm, the Decision Tree algorithm, and the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Of the 5 methods applied, the results of their performance accuracy will be compared. The performance of the highest classification algorithm is the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm which produces an accuracy value when testing data, which is up to 90% using the oversampling technique in unbalanced classes. While the lowest classification accuracy performance value is in the Multinomial Naïve Bayes (MNB) algorithm with a value of 76%. It is proven that oversampling can help the performance of the classification algorithm to be more optimal. Thus, it should be noted that the balance of data classes is an important factor when applying the classification method.

Every time a new variant of Coronavirus (Covid-19) appears, themedia or news platforms review it to find out whether the new variantis more dangerous or contagious than before. One of the media orplatforms that is fast in presenting news in videos is YouTube.YouTube is a social media that can upload videos, watch videos, andcomment on the video. The comment field on YouTube videos cannotbe separated from spam comments that annoy other users who want tofollow or participate in the comment column. Indication of spamcomments is still done by observing one by one; this is very inefficientand time-consuming. This study aims to create a model that canclassify spam on YouTube comments. The classification method uses the SVM (Support Vector Machines) algorithm and the KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor) algorithm to identify spam comments or not with comment data taken from Omicron's Covid-19 news video on national news channels. The classification results show that the SVM method is superior inaccuracy with the Linear SVC algorithm of 75.12%, SVC of 76.11%, and Nu-SVC of 77.11%. While the KNN algorithm with k=2 is 65.67%, k=4 is 64.51%, k=6 is 62.35%.

The growth and economic development of a city is one of the factors causing air pollution because air quality has been mixed with various components of chemical compounds such as motor vehicle exhaust gases and factory smoke waste. Data mining is a method to find out information about air pollution in the city of Jakarta. The data mining method used is classification because this method can process air pollution standard index (AQI) parameter data into information that can show the level of air quality per day using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm and Support Vector Machine. 
 The result of the application of data mining for air quality classification in Jakarta is that the Support Vector Machine algorithm has better accuracy performance compared to the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. The Support Vector Machine algorithm uses the RBF kernel and 100 kernel parameter gets an accuracy value of 98%, precission of 97%, recall of 97%, and F1-Score of 97% while the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm uses the number of K as much as 6 gets an accuracy value of 96%, precission of 96%, recall of 93%, and F1-Score of 94%.

In this study, a data-driven fault diagnosis method was developed for solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) systems. First, the complete experimental data was obtained following the design of the SOFC system experiments. Then, principal component analysis (PCA) was performed to reduce the dimensionality of the obtained experimental data. Finally, the fault diagnosis algorithms were designed by support vector machine (SVM) and BP neural network to identify and prevent the reformer carbon deposition and heat exchanger rupture faults, respectively. The research results show that both SVM and BP fault diagnosis algorithms can achieve online fault identification. The PCA + SVM algorithm was compared with the SVM algorithm, BP algorithm, and PCA + BP algorithm, and the results show that the PCA + SVM algorithm is superior in terms of running time and accuracy, the diagnosis accuracy reached more than 99%, and the running time was within 20 s. The corresponding system optimization scheme is also proposed.

Dilihat dari sisi konsumen, ada berbagai aspek yang mempengaruhi konsumen untuk membeli suatu kendaraan bermotor. Hal ini karena masing-masing orang memiliki minat dan kebutuhan yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelompok umur dan profesi apa saja yang menjadi pelanggan potensial di SPS Motor Honda Lombok Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analitik deskriptif, dimana peneliti mengambil data-data penjualan sepeda motor dari SPS Motor Honda Lombok Timur, yang selanjutnya diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan software Rapidminer 5. Hasil analisis data tersebut selanjutnya dideskripsikan dengan detail mengenai kelompok pelanggan potensial. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kelompok yang termasuk dalam pelanggan potensial dari SPS Motor Honda Lombok Timur adalah kelompok dengan kriteria umur berkisar 33-46 tahun yang berprofesi sebagai wiraswasta dan petani, Hal ini disebabkan karena, pelanggan tersebut memiliki penghasilan dengan usia produktif. Sedangkan kelompok pelanggan yang tidak potensial ada 2 irisan yaitu yang pertama apabila kategori usia produktif tapi tidak memiliki penghasilan dengan rentang umur 17-32 tahun dengan profesi pelajar dan wiraswasta. The rapid evolution of digital technology has significantly transformed the financial services landscape, especially in the realm of mobile banking. BCA Mobile stands among the most popular apps for digital banking in Indonesia. Despite its widespread adoption, user reviews reflect diverse viewpoints and sentiments about the app. The objective of this research is to examine the user sentiments regarding the BCA Mobile app, based on reviews sourced from the Google Play Store and App Store. Two classification models, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbour (K-NN), are used in the analysis process. The collected review data undergoes several pre-processing stages and is labeled automatically using a Lexicon-Based technique. For feature weighting, the TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) approach is used.. Sentiment classification is then carried out using both K-NN and SVM, with performance evaluated through a matrix of confusion based on measurements like F1-score, recall, accuracy, and precision. The findings show that the SVM algorithm outperforms K-NN in terms of performance, with an accuracy of 94%, while K-NN achieves an accuracy of 82%. This study offers valuable insights for BCA management in understanding user sentiment and enhancing service quality through the application of artificial intelligence

This study was to analyze the clinical application value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image features based on intelligent algorithms in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and to provide an effective reference assessment for breast cancer diagnosis. The MRI diagnosis model (ACO-MRI) based on the ant colony algorithm (ACO) was proposed, which was compared with the diagnosis methods based on support vector machine (SVM) and proximity (KNN) algorithm, and the proposed algorithm was applied to MRI images to diagnose breast cancer. The results showed that the accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of the ACO-MRI model were greater than those of the KNN and SVM algorithm. Moreover, the specificity was statistically considerable compared with the two algorithms of KNN and SVM ( P < 0.05 ). By comparing 1/5 number of ants and the average gray path of the ACO-MRI model under 1/8 number of ants, it was found that the average gray path value of 1/8 number of ants was greatly higher than the average gray path value of 1/5 number of ants ( P < 0.05 ). The differences in the overall distribution of breast MRI imaging features among Luminal A, Luminal B, HER-2 overexpression, and TN were compared. There were considerable differences in the overall distribution of the three breast MRI imaging features of the boundaries, morphology, and enhancement methods among the four groups ( P < 0.05 ). In short, MRI image based on the intelligent algorithm ACO-MRI diagnosis model can effectively improve the diagnosis effect of breast cancer. Its image feature boundaries, morphology, and enhancement methods had good imaging features in the diagnosis of breast cancer.

Aim: prediction of coronary disease using novel support vector machine and comparing its accuracy with logistic regression algorithm. Materials and methods: Two social affairs are proposed for predicting the accuracy (%) of coronary disease. To be explicit, the novel supports vector machine and logistic regression algorithms. Here we take 20 samples each for appraisal and compare. The sample size was calculated using G power with pretest power at 80% and the alpha of 0.05 value. Result: The logistic regression gives better precision (87.82%) than the novel support vector machine (SVM) accuracy (81.30%). Thus the real significance of logistic regression is better than novel support vector machine algorithms. Conclusion: From the result, it might be gathered that logistic regression helps in expecting the coronary sickness with more accuracy to appear differently in relation to novel support vector machine algorithms.
