Using Open CNC System for Four-Motor Drive Control Based on Real-Time Ethernet

Abstract
Aiming at the difficulty of synchronization of gantry platform in the process of movement, a method using open CNC system for four-motor drive control based on real-time Ethernet is proposed. Firstly, the structure of four-motor driven gantry platform is given. Then the architecture of the open CNC system and real-time Ethernet is designed for control the gantry platform. Finally, the interpolation operation of CNC system is separated to improve control frequency and accuracy. The processing result of the specimen shows that the proposed control strategy can achieve good synchronization effect.
