With the rapid development of big data (BD) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, the teaching of mechanical engineering major is facing new opportunities and challenges. This article deeply explores the application status, problems, and challenges of BD and AI in the teaching of mechanical engineering major. Through a review of relevant domestic and foreign research and an analysis of practical application cases, it proposes an innovative strategy for the teaching mode of mechanical engineering major driven by BD and AI, including innovations in teaching methods, learning methods, practical teaching, curriculum design, teaching objectives and concepts, teaching content and methods, practical teaching links, and teaching evaluation systems. At the same time, it analyzes the challenges faced in the innovation process and proposes corresponding countermeasures. Finally, it summarizes the research and provides theoretical and practical references for the innovation of the teaching mode of mechanical engineering major.

This study explores the neurobiological mechanisms of dopamine reward pathways in active procrastination behavior, analyzing the relationship between neurotransmitter changes and behavioral patterns in procrastinators from a neuroscience perspective. The research finds that dopamine influences active procrastination behavior through four key mechanisms: motivational activation mechanism that provides procrastinators with strong internal drive as deadlines approach; time management decision-making mechanism that helps individuals optimize task timing based on reward expectations; stress response mechanism that transforms deadline pressure into a catalyst for productivity; and cognitive function regulation mechanism that enhances procrastinators' attention focus and creativity levels at critical moments. These findings provide a neurological explanation for active procrastinators' high performance under time pressure, revealing the complex biological foundation behind procrastination behavior.

The professional competencies of teacher education majors are essential for their success in real-world classrooms. As education systems evolve, there is an increasing need to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical teaching skills. One effective way to achieve this is through the reform of theoretical bridging courses, which provide future educators with the opportunity to connect classroom theory with actual teaching practice. This study explores various strategies designed to enhance these courses and improve teacher preparation. These strategies include integrating classroom-based action research, utilizing collaborative learning and peer teaching, connecting theory with practice through case analysis, embedding technology in teaching and learning, and encouraging reflective journaling and portfolio development. Each of these strategies plays a crucial role in equipping teacher candidates with the skills needed to navigate diverse classroom environments and adapt to evolving educational technologies. Action research, for example, encourages reflective practice and continuous improvement, while collaborative learning fosters communication and teamwork. Technology integration enhances engagement and prepares educators for modern classroom settings. Reflective journaling and portfolio development provide opportunities for self-assessment and professional growth. This study evaluates the relative importance of these strategies based on their impact on teacher education programs. By identifying the most effective approaches, the research aims to provide valuable insights into improving teacher preparation and ensuring that future educators are well-equipped to meet the challenges of contemporary classrooms.

Under the backdrop of New Engineering Education, cultivating students' advanced mathematical thinking and technological innovation capabilities has become crucial for enhancing talent competitiveness. This paper deeply analyzes the coupling relationship between advanced mathematical thinking (including logical thinking, abstract thinking, innovative thinking, etc.) and technological innovation capabilities. It explores how to promote their synergistic development through reforms in advanced mathematics teaching, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for New Engineering talent cultivation. Research indicates that strengthening advanced mathematical thinking training can effectively enhance students' technological innovation capabilities, with the two mutually reinforcing and complementing each other.
