Seniors, who are growing in number in society, are at risk of social isolation. Meanwhile, ties with others are essential for everyone’s well-being. It is worth publicizing initiatives that support the elderly and improve their quality of life. One of them is the practice of the Little Brothers of the Poor Association. The object of reflection in the article is, among other things, the way in which the organization’s website has been used in its activities. The following goals were formulated: explaining the essence of social support, presenting the history and mission of the association, showing its undertakings in which the web service is used to varying degrees, as well as discussing the available possibilities of financing the organization’s activities by donors, also with the role of cyberspace. To achieve the above-mentioned goals, an analysis of the literature and source materials – the resources of the association’s website – was carried out. Data obtained from an interview with its director were also taken into account. The basic sphere of the organization’s practice is the conduct of volunteer work, which enables the formation of intergenerational ties among volunteers and lonely elderly people. The seniors covered by this program experience the concern of younger people for their health, mental condition, cultural, recreational and social needs. The respect and interest shown to them, as well as the opportunity to receive support in difficult situations, can contribute to improving their situation. The article analyzes selected testimonies of the association’s mentees published in its social media, which document the reception of the organization’s assistance activities by seniors.

The article presents parishes and churches: St. John Paul II in Ełk, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Filipów, St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe in Gawrych Ruda, St. Anthony of Padua in Gąski, St. Anna in Giby.

Involvement of social organizations in defence issues is both an opportunity and a challenge for the state, which should properly use the potential of social organizations. The research carried out among the V4 Group countries and Lithuania confirmed that all countries less or more use pro-defence organizations. It is one of the state’s security interests. The legal acts that define the participation of citizens in defence issues in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Lithuania are constitutions, which provide the right of citizens to association. The Lithuanian Riflemen’s Association, which is a pro-defence organization in Lithuania, included in the defence system of Lithuania, is of particular importance. A clear specification of the tasks, rights and obligations performed by pro-defence organizations is required. The authors recommend that pro-defence issues in Poland should be defined in a similar way like in Lithuania, including pro-defence organizations to the state’s defence activities.

The aim of the article is to identify both positive and negative changes that have taken place in the economy to digitize the Polish economy and society during the coronavirus pandemic. Different sectors of the economy, which differ in their degree of vulnerability to digital transformation, have been analyzed in detail. The main research question is to evaluate the changes, both positive and negative, that have occurred in the economy. One of the positive effects of innovation is greater quality of work, better production outcomes, and overall economic growth. The phenomenon of introducing new technologies may become a stimulus to include Poland among the most digitally developed economies within Europe. Digitalization can also be an opportunity to dominate the global economy, but the whole process mainly concerns only large companies, because only they have the financial capacity to make changes. Small businesses are now said to be marginalized and run-on traditional principles. In addition, the digitization process during the COVID-19 pandemic affects all members of society, including children in schools, which can also be a problem due to the financial capacity of many parents in Poland.

Artykuł porusza kwestię związaną z uprowadzeniem rodzicielskim w ujęciu prawnym, a dokładniej zawiera analizę wybranych zagadnień z zakresu prawa konstytucyjnego, prawa rodzinnego i opiekuńczego, a przede wszystkim z zakresu regulacji prawnych ujętych w Konwencji Haskiej.

Niniejsze opracowanie dotyczy relacji pomiędzy przepisami kodeksu karnego i kodeksu karnego skarbowego regulującymi kwestię tzw. „oszustwa podatkowego”.

Niniejsze opracowanie dotyczy relacji pomiędzy przepisami art. 286 kodeksu karnego i art.76 kodeksu karnego skarbowego regulującymi kwestię tzw.
