Introduction. Customer churn is one of the key challenges in the telecommunications sector, significantly impacting companies' financial performance. Losing customers leads to substantial economic losses, as acquiring new users is typically more expensive than retaining existing ones. This creates a need for the development of effective analytical approaches to predict customer churn and identify the factors influencing it. Objective. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of survival analysis methods in predicting customer churn in the telecommunications sector. The primary objective is to identify key factors affecting churn rates and evaluate the impact of targeted retention strategies on customer behaviour. Methodology. The study employs survival analysis methods to evaluate customer churn dynamics. The Kaplan-Meier estimator is used to analyse the temporal patterns of customer retention, identifying high-risk periods. The Cox proportional hazards model is applied to determine the influence of various factors on churn probability. The dataset consists of real-world telecommunications customer data, including demographic characteristics, contract details, and financial indicators. Preprocessing steps include data cleaning, feature selection, and transformation of categorical variables into numerical format. Model performance is evaluated using metrics such as the Concordance Index (C-index) and Brier Score. Finally, A/B testing is conducted to assess the effectiveness of retention strategies in reducing customer churn. Results. The findings indicate that the highest risk of churn occurs within the first 20 months after subscription activation. It was determined that long-term contracts and high-quality service reduce the likelihood of churn, whereas high monthly costs and certain payment methods increase it. The developed predictive models achieved an accuracy level of 85–87%. Implemented retention strategies within A/B testing resulted in an increase in the retention rate from 74% to 91%. The proposed methods can be applied by telecommunications companies, financial institutions, and other businesses operating in the subscription-based service industry to enhance loyalty programs and reduce customer churn.

Introduction. The global shift toward sustainable natural resource use and the minimisation of economic dependence on traditional energy sources represents a necessary stage in societal development within the framework of climate change mitigation and sustainable development. The subject of the study is the potential for integrating renewable energy sources (RES) into business operations in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance the climate resilience of corporate processes in Ukraine and Europe. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to identify the key trends, economic incentives, and institutional mechanisms that support the transition of businesses to RES within the strategies of sustainable development, the circular economy, and decarbonisation, with an emphasis on assessing the economic impacts on energy independence, GDP, and investment payback. Methodology. The methodological framework integrates general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, comparison, abstraction, induction, deduction), a systems approach, as well as economic calculations (ROI, cost–benefit analysis, assessment of savings from reduced energy imports) based on data from IRENA, the Energy Community, the European Investment Bank, and Ukraine’s national energy strategies up to 2035. Results. The article analyses key outcomes of effective European best practices (Germany, Sweden, Romania, Poland) involving green certificates, subsidies, and tax incentives. For Ukraine, the share of renewable energy may reach 21.07 billion kWh by 2025, yielding savings of 5–7 billion UAH on energy imports. The ROI of solar and wind projects is estimated at 10–15%, with a payback period of 5–7 years. Investments in RES are projected to create up to 150,000 jobs with a multiplier of 1.5–2. The transition of businesses to RES is economically advantageous and strategically essential for achieving climate neutrality, strengthening energy security, and supporting Ukraine’s post-war recovery. Practical recommendations include the introduction of a national system of green contracts, grant programmes for pilot projects, integration of RES into the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) 2025–2030, and attracting €5 billion annually in EU financing. Accelerating the European integration of Ukraine’s energy sector and harmonising legislation with the EU Green Deal constitute critical factors for shaping an adaptive decarbonisation strategy up to 2050.

Introduction. Ukraine's steel industry has always been one of the country's main economic sectors, making a significant contribution to the country's GDP and generating up to 30% of export earnings. Its strategic importance is reinforced by the dependence of the regions on the operation of metallurgical enterprises. However, the war has had a significant impact on the sector, causing a decline in production capacity, destruction of critical infrastructure, and restricted access to international markets. This poses a unique challenge to preserve the industry, adapt it to current conditions and further integrate it into the European economy. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the impact of military operations on the metallurgical industry of Ukraine, to identify the main challenges and opportunities for its sustainable recovery. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of ways to adapt enterprises to modern realities, prospects for integration into European markets and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies into the production process. An important aspect is also the assessment of the socio-economic impact of metallurgy on the regions that depend on this industry. Method (methodology). To achieve this goal, a comprehensive approach was used, including the analysis of statistical data on steel, iron and rolled products, collected from the official reports of Ukrmetallurgprom and the World Steel Association. Comparative analysis methods were used to assess changes in the structure of exports and production volumes, as well as expert assessments of the impact of EU environmental standards on the industry. Logistics solutions, including the reorientation of export flows through the Danube ports and western borders, are investigated. Results. The results showed that due to the war, steel production in 2023 decreased by more than 70% compared to pre-war levels. Instead, the companies were able to partially adapt by introducing new logistics routes, optimizing resource use, and modernizing equipment. In particular, Zaporizhstal maintained production at 50% of pre-war levels due to its quick response and use of local resources. It is determined that the sustainable development of the industry requires the introduction of green technologies that meet European standards, as well as the attraction of international investment. The prospects for the development of the industry are associated with the creation of a competitive, environmentally friendly metallurgy that can become a driver of Ukraine's economic recovery.

Introduction. Ukraine is suffering heavy human and economic losses as a result of Russian military aggression. More and more experts are inclined to the opinion that it will be possible to survive and win the war only if Ukraine obtains a significant technological advantage over the enemy due to the existing limitation of traditional material and human resources for successful warfare. Today, such technological advantages should be sought in the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is rapidly spreading around the world. In particular, the possibilities of artificial intelligence technologies, which are increasingly penetrating all spheres of social production, the life of the population, and the military sphere, require a special careful study. With proper application, artificial intelligence can create the necessary technological advantage for Ukraine to defeat the enemy, however, as world practice shows, today its use faces considerable problems and risks, without taking into account the feasibility of using this tool is called into question. Purpose. To reveal the possibilities and risks of the spread of artificial intelligence in the world in the context of the prospects of its use in Ukraine to counter external military aggression and in post-war reconstruction. Results. The main advantages and risks of the spread of artificial intelligence technologies in the world economy, its varieties in terms of functional features are highlighted. Among the key advantages, a significant increase in the labor productivity of subjects, an increase in their stability and adaptability to the external environment, providing a person with previously unseen opportunities for a radical improvement in the quality of life, and a reduction in the harmful impact of human activity on the environment are highlighted. At the same time, a number of significant risks of the use of artificial intelligence are highlighted, which originate both from the imperfection and complexity of the technology itself, and from its malicious, unethical and uncontrolled use by the person himself for personal selfish purposes, which ultimately leads to an aggravation, rather than a reduction, of the existing problems of humanity and raises the question of abandoning this technology or bringing its use under strict state and public control. In this light, it shows the prospects and possibilities of using artificial intelligence technologies in Ukraine both during the war to effectively counter the aggressor, and in the post-war economic recovery to strengthen the existing and create new competitive advantages of the country in the conditions of the current acute demographic crisis and the shortage of labor resources caused by the war losses and migration of the population abroad.

The purpose of the research is to reveal the process of implementing the agrarian reform in Ukraine as a natural stage of the development of the country's agriculture during the last 100 years. The existing problems in Ukrainian agriculture were considered and it was established that these problems have their roots in the past, in the 20s of the 20th century, when the natural development of agriculture was interrupted, Ukraine became part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), private ownership of agricultural land and private farms were liquidated, collective and state agricultural enterprises were created instead. The paper analyzes the initial stage of agrarian reform in Ukraine at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries after gaining state independence, and it is concluded that agrarian transformations in the country took place quite completely, in comparison with the countries of Eastern Europe. One of the reasons for this state of affairs was the low efficiency of the management of this process on the part of the state authorities responsible for the reform, particularly land reform as a key factor in all agrarian transformations. Only after the beginning of the wide implementation of land reform and reforming of collective agricultural enterprises in the early 2000s, a rapid increase in the volume and efficiency of agricultural production began. The long-term moratorium on the sale and purchase of agricultural land (more than 30 years) was based on political, not economic, reasons. In the analysis of the prospects for the development of domestic agriculture in the period after the agrarian reform, modern comprehensive programs of strategic directions for increasing the efficiency of the industry and rural areas were used, in the development of which the author was involved. These state programs, namely the "Unified comprehensive strategy and action plan for the development of agriculture and rural areas in Ukraine for 2015-2020" and the "National Economic Strategy 2030" conclude with the main task of creating a competitive, export-oriented agriculture and the production of competitive food products in accordance with international safety and quality standards in the context of the European integration of Ukraine. The research methodology is based on the use of publications by Ukrainian and foreign researchers devoted to the analysis of economic transformation in Ukraine and other countries of the former socialist camp, as well as scientific developments by authors, in particular, as a member of teams of international experts and consultants on the development and implementation of agrarian reform in Ukraine. Further directions of research, which were covered in the article, should be aimed at the development of integration processes in the market structure of the European Union, adaptation of the national agrarian policy to the Common EU policy. This is to provide an opportunity to increase the welfare of agricultural workers, the efficiency and productivity of the domestic agrarian industry.

Introduction. In the context of increasing economic crises, limited financial resources at all levels of agricultural production management and business entities, the absence of a civilized land market, and the influence of other factors, the issue of reproducing the material and technical base of agricultural enterprises becomes more acute. The complete and timely provision of agricultural enterprises with elements of the material and technical base and their efficient use significantly impact the volume of production of major types of products and the economic performance of the business entity. Method (Methodology). The theoretical positions and conclusions characterizing the main trends in the development of reproduction processes of the material and technical base were argued within a systematic approach. This approach includes both general scientific methods (dialectical, intuitive, scientific abstraction, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, laws of logic) and economic research methods (comparative analysis for comparing economic phenomena over different time periods to identify the cause-and-effect relationship between final results and the level of material and capital intensity of production; abstract-logical, calculation-constructive methods for substantiating types of reproduction of the material and technical base; monographic method for summarizing the experience of organizing reproduction processes in individual business entities). Results. The essence of the reproduction of the material and technical base (MTB) of an agricultural enterprise is defined as a process that includes the acquisition of complete property complexes, new construction, reconstruction, renewal, modernization, technical re-equipment of production, and improvement of the use of land resources and working capital based on modern innovative transformations. This contributes to a significant increase in the efficiency of land and material-technical resource utilization, which determines the level of development of agricultural production. The formation of the quantitative and qualitative composition of the MTB of an agricultural enterprise is influenced by natural and climatic factors, its size, and specialization, leading to fluctuations in production costs due to the use of different systems of machinery, equipment, complexes, chemical protective agents, fertilizers, and other elements of agricultural production.

Introduction. The study of the economic environment of the EU arouses considerable interest not only among scientists, but also among a wide range of Ukrainian business representatives. This is explained both by the general trajectory of the Ukrainian economy in the direction of European integration, and by the special challenges and opportunities that have arisen in the conditions of the active phase of military aggression. An example of actively building a strategy for foreign economic development can be the company «Nova poshta», which is the leader of the postal and courier services sector in Ukraine at the time of the study, and has recently been making significant efforts to develop a foreign network of branches in EU countries. However, the successful implementation of this type of strategy requires an understanding of the trends and patterns that have developed in the target foreign markets, which already requires the use of appropriate scientific tools. One of such important regularities is the nature of the relationship between the economic activity of the company's business sphere and macroeconomic growth. Goal. The goal is to verify, by means of econometric modeling, the hypothesis about the existence of a positive influence of the economic activity of logistics companies, in particular, postal and courier services, on the macroeconomic growth of the studied countries. Methodology. To achieve the goal, the method of correlation analysis was used in the preliminary assessment of the relationship between the performance indicators of logistics companies and the macroeconomic growth of individual countries; tabular and graphic – for visual presentation of information and detection of statistically atypical values in the information base; regression analysis – for building panel regression models. The results. According to the results of the correlation analysis, it was found that for the construction of a regression of the impact of postal and courier services on the macroeconomic growth of the EU countries it is advisable to use a one-factor model due to the high level of pairwise correlation of indicators that could be considered as independent variables of a multifactor model. The graphical analysis made it possible to identify and remove one statistically atypical value from the information base. The evaluation of the parameters of panel regression models of the influence of postal and courier services on the macroeconomic growth of EU countries (cross-sectional, with fixed and random effects) showed that, according to the criterion of the coefficient of determination, it is advisable to exclude the cross-sectional regression model in favor of models with fixed and random effects. To choose between the fixed and random effects model, the Hausman test was performed, which indicated the failure of the null hypothesis and the superiority of the fixed effects model. The positive value of the independent variable’ coefficient of the built one-factor model of the influence of the activity of the postal and courier services of EU countries and candidate countries on macroeconomic growth proved the validity of the main hypothesis of the study about the positive nature of such an influence. Prospects for further research are to find additional factors influencing GDP, in addition to activity indices of postal and courier services of EU countries and candidate countries, in order to build a multifactorial model with a higher coefficient of determination.
