Bu araştırmada okul öncesi dönemde işitme yetersizliği olan çocukların erken okuryazarlık becerilerinin desteklenmesinde özel eğitim ve okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin kullandıkları materyallerin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma nitel araştırma olarak desenlenmiş ve doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerini 5 özel eğitim, 5 okulöncesi öğretmenin erken okuryazarlık çalışma ve etkinliklerinde kullandıkları materyaller oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında 4 sıralama kartı, 1 tek kart, 3 kitap, 5 çalışma kâğıdı ve 11 diğer materyal olmak üzere toplam 24 materyal incelenmiştir. Verilerin analizi araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan kontrol listesiyle yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına dayalı olarak öğretmenlerin kullandıkları materyallerin çeşitli açılardan erken okuryazarlık becerilerine katkı sağlasalar da tür, çeşitlilik ve zenginlik açısından sınırlı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into teacher education has been transformative, offering personalized learning experiences, enhanced professional development, and improved teaching methodologies. AI technologies such as Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), AI-driven analytics, and automated assessment tools have become central to modern educational practices, significantly improving engagement, adaptability, and effectiveness. This study employs a qualitative thematic analysis of current literature on AI in teacher education, examining peer-reviewed articles and reports using thematic coding to identify key patterns, opportunities, and challenges. The findings reveal that AI enhances teacher education by providing personalized learning pathways, fostering critical thinking, and supporting ongoing professional growth. Technologies like ITS, Virtual Reality (VR), and AI-driven analytics have proven effective in promoting motivation and engagement among teachers. However, ethical challenges such as biases in AI systems and concerns regarding data privacy require continuous attention. Furthermore, a gap in teacher preparedness, particularly in developing AI literacy and integrating AI tools into classroom practices, is evident. Despite these challenges, AI offers substantial benefits, transforming teaching practices and enabling personalized, adaptive instruction that supports both teachers and students. The study emphasizes the need for comprehensive teacher training programs focusing on digital literacy and ethical AI use, ensuring educators can navigate an AI-enhanced educational environment effectively. This research contributes to the ongoing discourse by highlighting the need for ethical guidelines and robust teacher training programs, offering actionable insights for educators, policymakers, and institutions aiming to integrate AI into teacher education

In this research aims to examine the candidate teacher's identity with Public Personnel Selection Examination (PPSE) anxiety levels. The research included 302 candidate physical education teachers (140 female and 162 male) aged between 21 and 28 (23.95±1.54). “Personal Information Form,” “Early Teacher Identity Scale (ETIS),” and “Public Personnel Selection Examination Anxiety Level Scale (PPSEALS)” were used as data collection tools in the research. According to the data obtained from the research, there was no significant correlation between the candidate teachers' PPSEALS scores and the ETIS scores. A significant difference existed between candidate teachers' grade levels with PPSEALS scores and ETIS scores. Compared to 3rd-grade and graduate students, 4th-grade students scored higher on the PPSEALS and ETIS. Although there was a significant difference between PPSEALS scores according to gender, there was no significant difference in terms of ETIS scores. According to this, women have higher PPSEALS scores compared to men. According to academic achievement status, no significant difference was found between the scores of PPSEALS and ETIS. The results obtained from the research revealed that candidate teachers have PPSE anxiety at a medium level and teacher Identity perception at a high level. As a result, it can be said that 4th-grade students' high perception of teacher identity leads to higher levels of test anxiety.

This study presents a case study of the integration of usability evaluation into the development of task based information system prototypes in undergraduate software engineering course projects within a problem-based learning (PBL) approach. As part of the course, usability evaluation was integrated into the software development process, and the usability evaluation performance (UEP) of the projects was assessed in terms of the following criteria: effectiveness, efficiency and problem validity. It also analyzed the problem solution rate of the projects and their correlation between UEP criteria. Additionally, the study in-depth analyzed the students' final conclusions regarding the design process. The relationship between UEP criteria and the problem solving rate was examined using Spearman correlation analysis. In addition, final conclusions and problem solving behaviors were analyzed through document and thematic analysis techniques. The results supported that there is a significant correlation between usability evaluation criteria and problem solving rate. The main themes that emerged regarding usability problem solving behaviors were navigation design, error handling, database connection, algorithm design, search matching, system-user communication design and others. Final conclusions showed that project teams gained valuable insights into user-centered design, solved critical usability problems and improved their prototype design. It can be concluded that the integration of usability into software engineering education using the above approach contributes to students' understanding of user-centered interaction design.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of mathematics problem-solving attitudes of gifted middle school students in relation to various variables (gender, grade level, mathematics course performance, parents' education level). The study used the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The study sample consisted of 148 gifted students of different grades studying at The Science and Art Centre (BİLSEM). Participants were selected using the convenience sampling method. Data were collected using the Demographic Information Form (DIF) developed by the researchers and the Mathematics Problem Solving Attitude Scale (MPSAS) developed by Çanakçı (2008). The data obtained with the DIF were stratified according to the grade level of the students. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, independent groups t-test, and Kruskal-Wallis test were used in the data obtained with the MPSAS. As a result of the study, it was found that the problem-solving attitudes of gifted middle school students in mathematics were positive and there was no significant difference according to variables such as gender, mathematics achievement, and parents' educational status. However, there was a significant difference in the variable of grade level in the final year. Several suggestions were made in accordance with the results of the study.

Bu araştırma, sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin matematiksel alan dilini kullanmalarına ilişkin hatalarının dijital öykülerle giderilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, bir devlet ortaokulunda sekizinci sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 24 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada eylem araştırması esas alınmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Matematiksel Alan Bilgisini Tespit Etme Formları ve Öğrenci Görüşme Formu kullanılmıştır. Formların analizinde, betimsel ve içerik analiz teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda öğrencilerin çoğunun uygulama öncesinde matematiksel alan dilini yanlış kullandıkları özellikle de ayrıt-kenar, açı-açı ölçüsü, doğru-doğru parçası-ışın, cisim-şekil, eş-eşitlik arasındaki farkı bilmedikleri ya da bu farkı uygun matematiksel dille vurgulamaya dikkat etmedikleri görülmüştür. Uygulama sonrasında ise öğrencilerin çoğu bu hatalarının farkına vararak matematiksel alan dilini doğru kullanabilmişlerdir. Görüşmelere yönelik sonuçlar incelendiğinde de öğrencilerin çoğunun uygulamada kullanılan dijital öyküleri beğendikleri ve öğretici buldukları ortaya çıkmıştır.

Bu çalışmada öğretmen adaylarının bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri ile mobil teknolojileri kullanma becerilerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. İlişkisel tarama modelinde tasarlanan bu araştırma, bir devlet üniversitenin çeşitli öğretmenlik bölümlerinde okuyan 113 öğrenciyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yüzde, frekans, t-testi, ANOVA, korelasyon ve regresyon analizi gibi çeşitli istatistiksel analizlerin yapıldığı bu çalışmada, öğretmen adaylarının teknoloji kullanma becerisinin ve teknoloji kullanma becerisine verdiği önemin yüksek düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada, teknoloji kullanma becerisine verilen önem ile iletişim teknolojilerini kullanma becerisi arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, bilgi teknolojilerini kullanma becerisi ile iletişim teknolojilerini kullanma becerisi ve mobil teknolojileri kullanma becerisi arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir. İletişim teknolojilerini kullanma becerisi ile mobil teknolojileri kullanma becerisi arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişki vardır.

This study aims to comprehensively view the scientific articles published on mathematical modelling (MM) before 2023. In this context, analyzed articles published on MM with bibliometric analysis under four main headings; scientific productivity, network analysis, conceptual structure, and thematic map. The Web of Science database was used to analyze 906 articles published by 2039 authors representing 68 countries from 1981 to 2023. According to the study's findings, the articles published on MM differ yearly, but the number of citations is constantly increasing. Erbas, A. K., Schukajlow, S., and Kaiser, G. are the most productive authors. The most productive institutions are Purdue, Australian Catholic, and Hamburg Universities. According to the network analysis, the journals ZDM Mathematics Education and Educational Studies in Mathematics come to the fore. It was determined that the best size reduction obtained in the conceptual analysis constituted approximately 44% of the total variability. According to the findings obtained at the end of the research, made some suggestions.

Bu araştırma, nitel bir metodoloji izleyen açıklayıcı bir araştırma olup, 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin tam sayı kavramına ilişkin olası kavram yanılgılarına yönelik açıklamalarını ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmacılar tarafından çalışmanın amacına yönelik olarak “Tam Sayılar Tanılama Testi” hazırlanmış ve Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesinde bulunan iki farklı ortaokulda öğrenim gören 6. sınıflar arasından rastlantısal örnekleme yoluyla seçilen 61 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin sahip oldukları yanılgılar; kavram yanılgısı türleri bağlamında incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, öğrencilerin en çok “kısıtlı algılama”, en az “aşırı özelleme” türlerinde kavram yanılgılarına sahip oldukları açığa çıkmıştır.

Araştırmanın amacı matematik öğretiminde kullanılan kısa filmlerin değerler eğitimi yönünden incelenmesidir. Araştırma durum çalışması olarak tasarlanmıştır. Doğu Anadolu’da bir ilin merkezinde bulunan bir devlet okulunda öğrenim görmekte olan 7. ve 8.sınıf öğrencileri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak görüşme, günlük ve çalışma yaprakları kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar kısa filmlerin değerler eğitimine olumlu etkilerinin olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu etkiler öğrencilerin ahlaki boyutlara dikkat etmesi, empati kurmaları, olumlu davranışların sonuçları hakkında fikir yürütmeleri ve bundan sonraki davranışları hakkında olumlu kararlar vermeleri şeklinde olduğu söylenebilir. Çalışma sonucunda kısa filmlerle hem matematik öğretimi hem de değerler eğitiminin birlikte ele alınabileceği görülmüştür.
