In this paper we investigate the optimality in multiobjective subset fractional programming involving generalized type \(n\)-functions under \((F,\alpha,\rho, d)\)-type-I function. The results presented in this paper extend several results from the literature.

In this paper, we deal with the boundary value problem for the Lame system, modeling the contact problem for a multilayered material. We use biquadratic basic functions to obtain the transmission conditions on the boundaries of interlayer by the Finite Element Method. We analyze the interlayer stresses.

A labeling of a graph is a mapping that carries some set of graph elements into numbers (usually positive integers). Graceful labeling of a graph with \(q\) edges is an injection from the set of its vertices to the sequence \(\lbrace 0,1,2, \ldots, q\rbrace\) such that the values of edges are all integers from \(1\) to \(q\), the value of an edge being absolute value of the difference between the integers attributed to its end vertices. In 2009, Sethuraman [8] posed a problem of labeling of arbitrary supersubdivision of graph. Fact that all cycles are not graceful in general, it was intresting to study same for arbitrary supersubdivisions of cycles. This inspiration lead us to some good results. In this paper, we prove that Even arbitrary supersubdivision of cycle is graceful. We also prove that Odd arbitrary supersubdivision of cycle \(C_n\), for \(n\) even is graceful and for \(n\) odd is not graceful.

The irrational number \(\Phi = \frac{1+\sqrt{5}}{2}\) or \(\phi =\frac{−1+\sqrt{5}}{2}\) is well known as golden ratio. The binet forms \(L_n = \Phi^n + (−\phi)^n\) and \(F_n = \frac{\Phi^n−(−\phi)^n}{\sqrt{p5}}\) define the well known Lucas and Fibonacci numbers. In the present paper, we generalize the binet forms \(\Phi_n(x,y) = \frac{1}{y\cdot \sqrt{5}}[(x + y\Phi)^n−(x−y\phi)^n]\) and \(\pi_n(x,y)=[(x + y\Phi)^n +(x−y\phi)^n]\). As a result we obtain a pair of two variable polynomial which are new combinatorial entities. Many convolution identities of Ln and Fn are getting added to the recent literature. A generalized convolution identities will be a worthy enrichment of such combinatorial identities to the current literature.

Concrete filled steel tubular columns are preferred due to their excellent static and dynamic resistant properties such as high strength, high ductility and large energy absorption capacity. The comparison of the ultimate strength of CFST with Hollow steel tube, RCC and the bond strength between concrete and the steel was done both experimentally and analytically using ANSYS. A total of 18 specimens were cast, out of which ultimate strength was determined for 13 specimens and bond strength was observed for 5 specimens using push out test. Both experimental and analytical observations using ANSYS were carried on a cylinder of height 460mm and a diameter of 113mm. The grade of concrete used for infill is M30. The tests were carried on an Ultimate Testing Machine. The ultimate strength of CFST, RCC and HST were compared and CFST having the advantages of both concrete and steel is found to behave better and average bond strength ranges between 0.7 to 1.1N/mm\(^2\).

This paper studies existence and stability of the out of plane equilibrium points \(L_{6,7}\) analytically and numerically in the elliptical restricted three body problem, where both the primaries are radiating oblate spheroid, incorporating the effects of Poynting-Robertson (P-R) drag of the radiating primaries as well. It is observed that consideration of PR-drag forces results in the non-zero y-coordinate of the out of plane equilibrium points. The stability of the equilibrium points is studied in presence of PR-drag forces. Also the stability is further analyzed in the case when the PR-drag forces are neglected. We have explored the existence of out of plane equilibrium points and their stability around the binary systems: Luyten-726 and Sirius.

With the new method of information delivery for the library, the quality of service and Digital Library issues become paramount importance. Various model and framework have been proposed to evaluate the Quality of Service in Digital Library. Unfortunately, features that contribute towards the Digital Library services quality have not been factored into the design of most existing quality of services model in Digital Library. This paper presented a result of hypothesis testing which eventually proposed a new conceptual model on the service quality of the digital library. This model incorporated two new features that determine the right third-party source services. It also offers an opportunity for further investigation for evaluating the service quality effectiveness in the digital library. It is conforming to the study backgrounds through a variety of research designs and settings by examination of the hypotheses presented in this study. Survey research designs employing third party sources services as a sample in the model would best match the requirements for validating the proposed framework. The result shows that all three hypotheses are supported. As a result, we propose a conceptual model for evaluating the service quality of the digital library and further analyze the effectiveness model with several contributing features grouped as a thirdparty source.

Courts of law have embraced technology at a variant pace, from a minimal adoption of word processing to the extreme end of 100% electronic and web-based without a single paper production. Electronic filing system, case management system, hearing scheduling system, hearing recording system and electronic shorthand system used in courts become important tools that allow cases to be dispensed with in an efficient and timely manner. It enables legal practitioners to work anywhere and anytime. These digital technologies also become enablers for legal information to be accessed online by stakeholders. This paper presents five success factors for successful courtroom technology implementation based on a case study conducted in Malaysia. Data was acquired through collected through qualitative field study consisting of site visits, system demonstrations, interviews, series of observation and documents review. The result shows that the five most important success factors are leadership, change management, financial capital, training and piloting.

The effects of environmental factors on genetic modules is important in understanding the development of organisms. This study was conducted to determine the developmental modules in the forewings of the mango leafhopper ( Idioscopusclypealis ) and establish if variation exists between populations attacking different hosts and between sexes. A total of 199 landmarks points were used to outline the margins and wing venation of the leafhopper. Models were constructed to hypothesize modularity in the wings. The ɣ* (Gamma*) test for Goodness of fit (GoF) was used to assess the best fit model. Results showed that the forewings of I. clypealis is partitioned into 5 developmental modules bounded by the major veins in all populations except for the left forewing of the female leafhopper in Paho variety (ɣ*= -0.25572, P=1). The results suggest that wing development is conserved but may be affected by host.

The role of a rural library in developing an information society has long been realized by the government. The literature review indicates that the growth of the information society has forced the work environment and of librarians, especially in delivering services to the communities. Therefore, the rural libraries are being subjected to respond to the new changes. To ensure them to participate in the information society, there have to be appropriately trained workers in place; the rural librarian is required to put the element that promotes the use of information and rural library resources effectively. They should strengthen the function of a rural library staff as information intermediaries and increased their competencies to enable them to teachlibrary users to use the information they need for. The required competencies will be discussed in this paper.
