Teachers' professional development is in a fundamental and critical position in the cause of higher education in China. The experience of successive industrial revolutions and educational changes tells us that the key to the success of talent cultivation in colleges and universities in the era of intelligent education lies with teachers. This paper applies data mining techniques and the Apriori algorithm to examine teachers' career development paths and education management using 2023 data from the academic affairs management system of a higher vocational college as the sample dataset. The Apriori algorithm is a powerful tool for discovering hidden patterns and correlations among teacher characteristics, such as education level, workload, and teaching effectiveness, thereby supporting data-driven decision-making in staff development. The results of the study show that encouraging young teachers to pursue further studies, encouraging experienced teachers to lead and help young teachers to study professional technology, enabling teachers to complete the transformation of 'dual-teacher' teachers, and creating a teacher team suitable for higher vocational colleges and universities are the main points of the work of higher vocational colleges and universities in the construction of the teacher team.

The anode catalyst layer is a porous material that transports protons (H[Formula: see text]) through and collects electrons (e). Here, we propose an ultrasound-based novel technique that improves the electron transport by increasing the charge density on the titanium surface of the catalyst layer. Ultrasound waves in a porous catalyst layer may enhance the collection of electrons and improve the electron transport. The theoretical framework using poroelasticity has been proposed, and future experiments are required. The future experimental results will be positive because the ultrasound enhances the conventional battery performance.

We setup a dislocation dynamics finite element framework by bridging a dislocation dynamics program and an open source finite element program. As part of initial verification, deformation of single crystal micro-pillar having single and double glide activation is demonstrated. A case study of a twin boundary is presented wherein the dislocation pile-up at the grain boundary and formation of a residual dislocation are shown. For studying the dislocation interactions with other grain boundaries, model grain boundaries are considered. We consider three synthetic grain boundaries namely transparent, semi-transparent, and impenetrable. The model’s transparent and semi-transparent grain boundaries contain no dislocations and very low density of dislocations in them, respectively, and thus low number of interactions with other dislocations. More junctions and cross-slip occurrences are recorded near the semi-transparent grain boundary. The most dislocation–dislocation interactions near grain boundaries result into glissile junctions. The current results are compared against literature data and it is observed that other than junction formation, cross-slip is very frequency observed near grain boundaries.

This work aims to investigate the effects of magnetic field and inclined load on a two-dimensional thermoelastic medium under gravitational field. The problem is formulated in the context of refined dual-phase-lag Green–Naghdi (DPL GN) model. The bounding plane surface is heated by a non-Gaussian laser beam. The inclined load is supposed to be a linear combination of a normal load and a tangential load. Analytical formulas for several physical quantities are generated on the transformed domain using the Laplace and Fourier transform techniques. The inversion of double transform has been done numerically by using MATHEMTICA 10. The numerical inversion of Laplace transform is done by using the Zakian method (Halsted and Brown [Zakians technique for inverting Laplace transforms, J. Chem. Eng. 3 (1972) 312–313]). All physical quantities have been graphically depicted for the dual-phase-lag Green–Naghdi type III model (DPL GN-III), simple Green–Naghdi type III model (simple GN-III), Lord–Shulman model (LS) and classical thermoelasticity theory (CTE) to indicate the effect of magnetic field and the angle of inclination of the medium.

The body force method is an elastic stress analysis method based on the principle of superposition, where the concentrated force is distributed to satisfy the boundary conditions to obtain a highly accurate elastic solution. In the problem of orthotropic inclusions, the strain difference caused by orthotropic inclusions is expressed as a pair of concentrated forces called a force doublet. For this purpose, the interior of the orthotropic inclusion is discretized by triangular elements, and the fundamental solution of the force doublet is calculated by surface integrating inside the elements. The singularity of concentrated force doublet can be easily eliminated by Green’s theorem when distributing force doublet of uniform magnitude inside a triangular element. However, since the stress distribution inside the orthotropic inclusion is represented by a discontinuous function and the magnitude of the force doublet, the stress inside the inclusion cannot be analyzed accurately. By approximating the magnitude of the force doublet in a triangular element with a linear function, it is possible to obtain the internal stress distribution continuously. The method used to analyze the crack problem is applied to deal with the singularity of the concentrated force doublet. The above method was validated by solving the problem of orthotropic inclusions in the vicinity of the stress concentration.

To reduce the time of simulation for rotating Eddy current testing (RECT) technique, a simplified model without modeling probe was proposed previously. However, the applicability of the simplified simulation model was unknown. In this paper, the applicability of the simplified model for the RECT technique was investigated. The application condition of the simplified model was provided by comparing it with the results of the traditional simulation model. The simplified model was suitable for the study of cracks shorter than 70% size of the uniform Eddy current induced by the probe in a traditional model or experiment. The experiment was conducted to validate the simplified model. Moreover, using the simplified model, the effects of crack depth, orientation, and exciting frequency were studied. The deeper the crack depth was, the greater peak value of [Formula: see text] signal was. The crack angle was linear with the phase of signal. The exciting frequency affected the amplitude and phase of the signal at the same time.

Monopile foundations contain welding residual stresses and are widely used in industry to support offshore wind turbines (OWTs). The monopiles are subjected to hammering loads during installation and cyclic loads during operation, therefore the influence of residual stress redistribution as a result of fatigue cycles must be evaluated in these structures. The existing empirical models to predict the residual stress redistribution in the presence of cyclic loading conditions are strongly dependent on the material, welding process and loading conditions. Hence, there is a need to predict the residual stress redistribution using finite element simulations. In this study numerical analyses have been conducted to predict the initial state of residual stress in a simplified weld geometry and examine the influence of subsequent cyclic loads on the relaxation behavior in residual stress profiles. The results have shown that fatigue cycles have a severe effect on residual stress relaxation with the greatest reduction in residual stress values observed in the first cycle. Moreover, the numerical prediction results have shown that the stress amplitude plays a key role in the extent of residual stress relaxation in welded structures.

This paper studies the effect of GGA-PBE, GGA-PBEsol, GGA-PW91, GGA-VWN-BP, LDA-PWC, LDA-VWN parameterized exchange–correlation functionals and Cu impurity concentration on the lattice and electronic properties of bulk AuCu by the Density Functional Theory (DFT). The lattice properties are determined by the lattice constant, the unit cell volume and the total energy on unit cell. The electronic properties are determined by the band gap, the Partial Density of States (PDOS) and the total Density of States (DOS) of materials. The obtained results showed the effect of the interaction potential and the Cu impurity concentration on the lattice structure and the electronic structure of bulk AuCu.
