Supply chain management is quite important management tool in corporations, however it seem to be more used in small and medium enterprises as well. This research investigates supply chain management in total 613 SMEs of Canada, Iran and Turkey to explore SMEs practices in global context. Results confirmed SCM's determinants, factors, barriers, practices, functioning, environmental and social sustainability statistically significantly differ in contrasting economies while only SCM determinants do not significantly differ for the size of entity. The SMEs' length duration also affected the considered attributes. Apart from SCM determinants all other factors have no significant relationship with the designation whereas types of industry significantly affect the types of practices and functioning within SCM. Lastly, this paper theorizes that the environmental and social sustainability have significant relation with the type of industry.

We propose a model for comprehensive evaluation of social benefits generated by public investment projects.

This article aims to develop a model that illustrates the relationsh between the traits of Strategic Orientation (SO), Market Orientat (MO), and business performance in the context of hotel busine Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) this study investiga the relationship among strategic orientation, market orientat and business performance, simultaneously. Structured quest naires were handed out to a total of 189 participants from 5 sta hotels; 183 were returned. The results of the SEM showed that had a significant positive effect on MO, and MO also had a sig cant positive effect on HP (Hotel Performance), whereas the eff of SO on HP was a non-significant effect. Using informants only fr hotels limits the generalizability of results to the firms in the serv sector or to that in non-service sector. cross-sectional design will employed in order to derive appropriate conclusions about dir and indirect effects of variables, and because this approach dresses the relationships irrespective of its temporal nature. T study contributes to the literatures of strategic management a marketing through filling the gap in strategic orientation and mar orientation relationship research and to the strategic orientat research through explaining the direct effect of strategic orientat on hotel performance.

As a result of the study, it was determined that global challenges and risks hinder the development of trade and economic cooperation between countries. The paper suggests an approach to solving some basic economic problems and corresponding to them mathematical tasks, taking into account the principle of sufficiency, which, in the authors' opinion, is the quintessence of the ideas of the Club of Rome. According to this principle humanity must rationally limit its needs, produce and consume just a sufficient number of goods and in sufficient quantity. The goal of this paper is to demonstrate opportunities of application the principle of sufficiency for dealing with some problems (tasks), namely the consumer task and the producer task, both aimed at the achievement of not maximal but sufficient utility. In addition, the problem of optimal linear production planning aimed at the search of an optimal plan which from all admitted plans provides a maximal profit is considered. Since nowadays there is no common method of solving all these problems, possibility of finding their private solutions is described.

The article presents the results of a study aimed at assessing the consequences for the labor market of raising the retirement age in Russia. The foreign experience of raising the retirement age, on the basis of which a number of characteristic moments of this process are highlighted, is presented. The review of the scientific literature showed a polemical character of the problem under investigation and allowed to formulate a hypothesis of the study, which is as follows- raising the retirement age will lead to an increase in the supply of labor, which will entail the reduction of the labor price. The article presents an analysis of the current situation in the labor market. Since the raise of the retirement age will require the availability of vacant jobs in an amount not less than the number of people detained in the labor market, two tasks have been solved in this study. In the first task, the change in the average wage was calculated, provided that the number of jobs will meet the increased need, i.e. unemployment will remain at the same level.

The main idea of the article is to study the problem of regional development in the conditions of limited water resources. The subject of the study is theoretical and methodological provisions and applied practical recommendations for the regulation of regional development in the conditions of limited water resources. The purpose of the article is to determine the connection between water supply (water potential) of Ukrainian regions and their specialization in production and trade in the conditions of water resource constraints and determine the further prospects for regional development.

Nowadays there is no single generally accepted definition of "sustainability development of the agrarian branch (sector)", which is caused by underdevelopment and the controversy of sustainable development concepts, lack of information for the quantitative measurement of the sustainability degree. To develop a management model of the sustainable development of the agrarian sector in the region it is necessary to define the interpretation of the concept of "economic sustainability of the region" and "economic sustainability of the agrarian sector."The search for new directions and ways of agrarian activities development, which reduce its negative impact on the environment, defined the emergence of a new interpretation of agrarian production sustainability as production, based on the quality of food, quality of life and environmental safety, preservation of conditions for sustainable food ensuring of humanity in the long term.In this general ecological approach to the concept of "sustainability of agrarian sector development of the region" the following categories are distinguished: ecological, productive, economic and social. It is appropriate to supplement them in an intellectual and innovative component. The experience of Ukrainian regions shows that one of the most effective instruments of state regulation of the agrarian sector development of the region could be indicative planning, methodology, technology and organization of which should be built based on the market conditions. The development of indicative plan of agrarian sector development of the region should work together with the approved concept of regional development, based on which a strategic development plan is formed. It should be based on forecasting, which is rightly regarded as part of the indicative planning. It is necessary to rationally combine the actions of all subjects of management of agrarian relations, namely government regulation, market self-organization and management of agrarian sector on order to build an effective system of sustainability management of agrarian sector development of the region and to ensure its sustainable growth.
