Efficient utilization of multi-tonnage oil sludge is one of the most pressing environmental problems. Since natural raw materials are currently depleted, it is necessary to involve oil sludge in the production turnover for the production of lightweight bricks. At the same time, the costs of geological exploration, construction and operation of quarries are excluded, and significant land plots are exempt from the impact of negative anthropogenic factors. Waste from oil production with an increased content of calorific value is advisable to use not only as a thinning agent, but also as burn-out additives for the production of thermal insulation materials, which include lightweight bricks. A lightweight brick, which belongs to class B with high physical and mechanical properties, was obtained.

The article reviewed the catalysts used for upgrading high-viscosity oil in the reservoir. It is concluded that the most widespread and effective catalysts are oil-soluble complexes based on transition metals.

The method of technological optimization of associated hydrocarbon gas centralized flaring from sources with different methane concentration is suggested. The technological scheme of centralized flaring is composed. The relevant optimization task is formulated and solved solution of which make it possible to obtain the optimum type interrelation between methane concentration in associated gas and wind speed. As a result of carried out optimization the optimum order for functioning of composed technological scheme of centralized flaring of associated gas is recommended.

The article studies the formation of the total sediment by the incompatibility of residual fuels and oil products, analyzes and calculates the stress-strain state of the tank taking into account oil products and sediment. The studies examined the influence of temperature fields on the sedimentation of a mixture of residual fuels caused by the incompatibility of these components. Temperatures of a stored product, namely residual fuel RMK-700, and ambient temperatures are taken into account when modelling in ANSYS product. Effects that oil product has separately and oil product with bottom sediments have on a stress-stain state are compared. Laboratory tests were performed to accurately measure density depending on various temperatures. By means of finite element method a stress-stain state of a vertical steel tank RVS-20000 is examined, the calculations showed that the maximum stresses are located in zones of the weld seam and in the places of installation of the receiving-distributing branch pipe and manhole. In these areas bottom sediment and temperature difference influence the stress-stain state greatly, with the stresses becoming even higher as the wall gets thinner.

The main results of the calculation of the head loss with a smooth expansion and narrowing of the horizontal pipe, which has the following geometric dimensions; - the inner diameter of the pipe with a narrowing of 25 mm and an expansion of 50 mm. The pressure loss of the smooth expansion of the pipe at an oil velocity of 0.2–1.0 m/s has a smooth rate of increase from 0.002 to 0.032 m. With a smooth narrowing of the pipe, the head loss is from 0.0021 to 0.024 m. That, during the movement of oil in a horizontal pipe, the head loss with a sudden expansion is 1.33 times greater than that of a sudden narrowing.

In this article a literature review of existing delayed coking plants is carried out, and the design features of domestic and foreign coke chambers are revealed. With the help of the final engineering analysis program Ansys, models of reaction apparatuses of these installations are constructed for various material designs. It is revealed that it is impossible to increase the efficiency of operation of the current devices without a significant change in the technological regime, and technological solutions are proposed for the design of new reactors of delayed coking plants. Models of reactors of the modern delayed coking plant and the Soviet type 21–10/700 with minimization of the number of horizontal welds are constructed, and economic calculations are made for the operation of coke chambers with various designs.

In this work, the regularities of the vacuum gasoil hydrocracking process were studied, which include: determination of the key components of the reacting mixture and key reactions, studying the thermodynamic regularities, identification of the regularities of the influence of technological parameters on the transformation of the key reacting components. The model of the process was developed.

An algorithm has been developed for calculating the main parameters of the flow structure by the velocity profile of the boiling liquid phase in a packed distillation column: differential and integral response and dispersion functions without determining the response curves by the indicator method. An example of the calculation of the above parameters and modeling according to standard and combined models is given: cell, one-parameter diffusion and with a series connection of zones of displacement and mixing.

The article deals with the influence of intensive fluid withdrawal on the oil production process and on the amount of anhydrous current and final oil recovery. The beneficial effect of high rates of fluid recovery on the rate of oil recovery ant the current oil recovery in the water period is the technological basis of the method of forced fluid recovery from the reservoir. It is shown that forced withdrawal allows to reduce the duration of the late stage and extend the period of profitable oil production.

The object of the study is the problem of deposition of asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD) on the inner walls of technological oil pipelines in the process of oil transportation. A number of problems have been identified in connection with the negative impact of ARPD on the process of oil transportation. Based on the work carried out, the main direction for continuing research was determined in order to determine an effective method for removing and preventing the deposition of ARPD on the walls of the process pipeline.
