In this paper we investigated the possibility of application a Stable aggregate currency unit of account consisting of four simple currencies – euro, pound, dollar, yen for analyze the dynamics of a exchange value of the aggregated commodity, consisting of four simple commodities – silver, gold, platinum, palladium. It has been shown that the variability of exchange value baskets which is measured by the standard deviation from one of corresponding the multiplicative monetary indices less than the same measure the variability of exchange value of national currencies and some precious metals. It was also investigated the dynamics of price a stable aggregate of precious metals, which is measured in units of stable aggregates of four solid currencies.

In this paper we survey various DBMS physical design options. We will consider both vertical and horizontal partitioning, and briefly cover replication. This survey is not limited only to local systems, but also includes distributed ones. The latter adds a new interesting question — how to actually distribute data among several processing nodes. Aside from theoretical approaches we consider the practical ones, implemented in any contemporary DBMS. We cover these aspects not only from user, but also architect and programmer perspectives.

Singular spectrum analysis (SSA) is relatively new method for analysis of non-stationary time series. The weakness of SSA is lack of analytical model representation of time series, e.g., as a sum of simple functions, which could be clearer and easier for interpretation than a large number of components in form of time series. In this paper we propose to use variative modeling, based on joint use of SSA and method of modeleteka, for obtaining of analytical model of time series, providing necessary level of adequacy, compactness and interpretability. First, time series are decomposed into components using SSA, significant components are selected using formal indicators (e.g. variance contributed by component, etc.). Second, each significant component is identified according to the purpose of identification with simple and interpretable model from preformed modeleteka. The result is final model of time series in additive or additive-multiplicative form. Applicability of the method is shown on synthetic data and time series of daily changes of water turbidity in the river in the city of Chelyabinsk in 2005.

A problem of construction of a level description of classes with objects characterized by properties of their elements and relations between them is under consi\-de\-ration in the paper. The problems of recognition and analysis of such objects are NP-hard, but if descriptions of classes contain short enough and frequently occurred sub-formulas then it is possible to build a level description of classes essentially decreasing an exponent in upper bounds of steps for an algorithm solving the problemr. Usually an extracting of these sub-formulas is leaved to the investigator will. An approach to their automatic extraction is proposed in the paper.

Existing objective and subjective TV image quality assessment metrics are considered. New metrics of digital image quality test are founded. Local entropy approach to form objective TV image quality assessment metrics is demonstrated experimentally.

A model multimodal sensory environment «INFANT.MAVS», comprising two base stimuli of different perceptual complexity - simple (visual, audible, tactile and graphic) and base of complex stimuli synthesized on the basis of a combination of simple, is elaborated. The software includes a management component model created database and the database itself. Management component is created with Microsoft Visual Basic v.6.0 and is designed to run on operating systems of MS Windows.

Paper proposes optimization of calculation of frequency masking of speech signal for use in real time applications. The complexity of circular convolution is shown for iterative Toom-Cook algorithm with length 4 and an algorithm based on the FFT. The conclusion about the efficiency of the proposed solutions is drawn on computation complexity and memory.

The software ability to analyze current operating conditions, including a current state of a user, a physical environment, computing resources, as well as dynamically adaptation of the scenario of interaction to the user, is a one of the main requirements in the development of smart space prototypes. Control of a set of software and hardware modules involved in the smart space is difficult with increasing of tasks and number of users, so mathematical and software tools, which implement control of distributed modules, are required. The paper describes the structure of the model for distributed modules control in a smart meeting room as well as used multimodal interfaces for natural human-computer interaction.
