Background. The article presents patriotic sentiments in the modern youth environment and the role of patriotism in the formation of Russian society. The patriotism of the student youth is considered, the attitude of young people to the state symbols of the country is analyzed. The importance of patriotic education of young people for strengthening Russian statehood and power relations, and the implementation of the country's youth policy is substantiated. The purpose of the work is to study the patriotic consciousness and behaviour of youth as a condition and an important component of the political stability of modern Russian society. Materials and methods. The tasks are implemented on the basis of analysis and generalization of statistical data, scientific analysis of a wide range of sources, including scientific and periodical literature. The study of representations of patriotic sentiments is based on research materials among the youth of Penza State University, as well as an analysis of sociological research data presented by the All-Russian centres VTsIOM, Public Opinion Foundation. Results. During the analysis, it was revealed that the patriotic sentiments prevailing in society play an integrating role in the life of Russian society and the younger generation as the most important condition for the consolidation and stabilization of modern Russia. The results can be used for a deeper understanding of the spiritual, moral and political processes taking place in Russia. Conclusions. Exploring the patriotic sentiments of modern youth, studying various aspects of its manifestation, it is possible to identify the most important components of patriotic education: the formation of patriotic consciousness, the continuity of cultural traditions, love and devotion to their Homeland, a sense of pride for their people, the preservation of historical memory, the formation of an active civic position among young people.

Background. Under the modern social and economic conditions, the problem of discrimination initially caused by the transition to market relations takes on new forms and leads to new consequences in the context of informatization and digitalization of Russian society. This problem requires examination to develop relevant recommendations for overcoming discrimination and its consequences. The aim is to study the manifestations of discrimination in the field of labor relations in modern conditions. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of digital discrimination; new possible types of social stratification based on digital inequality in the sociological aspect are identified. Materials and methods. To achieve this aim, a systematic approach is used to review and analyze various aspects of the problem under study in the Russian and foreign literature; the results of sociological surveys in the relevant field analyzed. The methods of comparison and generalization of statistical indicators are also used to identify the most significant features and various aspects of the problem under study in the conditions of informatization and digitalization of society. Results. Statistical data and various studies of discrimination in the field of labor are reviewed. The types of discrimination in the field under study are systematized. The trends in the manifestation of social professional and gender differences associated with informatization and digitalization of society are characterized. A separate part is devoted to studies of the impact of digital technologies on the labor field, which leads to the emergence of a new type – digital discrimination. The signs of digital inequality in access to information and work with it are highlighted. The vector for further studies in this field is determined. Conclusions. The social phenomenon of discrimination by gender, age, and education is presented as a manifestation of social inequality in labor relations. It is noted that in the context of informatization of society and digitalization of economic sectors and many aspects of public life, an already recognized digital inequality has appeared, which creates the basis for a new one – social, economic and legal inequality with manifestations of discrimination. It leads to the emergence of signs of social informational stratification, complementing social stratification, which determines new directions for further studies.

Background. Digital technologies penetrating into all spheres of public and personal life lead to the transformation of many legal institutions. Login to cyberspace is predetermined by using special authenticators (login, nickname, avatar, digital code, etc.). In this case, the digital authenticator may not coincide with the personal data recorded in the identity document of the citizen. The presence of systemic gaps in legal regulation of digital IDs determines the relevance of research. The main goal is to analyze the legal regime of a digital citizen ID. The goal implies solving the following tasks: systematizing the elements of digitalization provided for by the national project “Digital Economy”; highlighting the legal features of digital personal identification; considering the main problems arising due to the difference between digital identification and civil registration. Materials and methods. The empirical basis of research is made up by policy documents that define the digital development strategy of the Russian Federation. Particular attention is paid to Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 7, 2024 No. 309 “On the national development goals of the Russian Federation through 2030 and for the future until 2036”. Results. The article indicates that the key elements of the concept of providing state and municipal services in the new context are the digital profile and the minimization of physical documents (introduction of a single citizen ID in digital form). Conclusions. Distinction should be made between an electronic signature of documents and an electronic identity document. If the first element has its legal basis, then in relation to the second element, the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation issued an official statement on freezing the project due to the sanctions pressure.
