The article examines the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to enhance safety levels in the construction industry. The main causes of accidents at construction sites are analyzed, and innovative solutions based on IoT devices are proposed. As an example, the intelligent «Smart Helmet» with integrated sensors for environmental monitoring and worker condition assessment is considered. The advantages of IoT solutions, their impact on reducing injury rates, and examples of successful implementation in various countries are studied. The work also examines methodological aspects of evaluating the effectiveness of IoT system implementation and provides recommendations for their adaptation in Kazakhstan.

The aim of the research is the studying the electrochemical reduction of the refractory copper mineral malachite from oxidized ores in the presence of sodium sulfite, a sulphidizing agent, and formation of easily floatable copper (I) sulfide under voltammetric polarization conditions. The studies were conducted using a special electrode assembly design for voltammetric studies and microelectrolysis at a controlled potential of both dispersed ore monominerals and depolarizer solutions. Electrode mechanisms for the monovalent copper sulfide formation during combined cathodic reduction of malachite and sodium sulfite were established. A sulfite ion is easily reduced in an acidic medium to highly active colloidal elemental sulfur, making it an effective sulphidizer for malachite. Copper sulfide was synthesized from malachite under microelectrolysis conditions, and the sulphidizing effect of sulfite was confirmed. The effect of the electrode material on the cathodic decomposition of the synthesized Cu2S was observed.

The problems associated with the suffusion compressibility of saline soils used in the construction of earthworks as foundations in flood conditions are considered. The author conducted studies of the effect of soaking, the amount and type of salts on the physical, deformation and filtration characteristics of soils. The results of the conducted research can be used for the design of engineering structures in flooded areas. Compressibility of saline soils of earthworks in conditions of flooding is an important aspect of geotechnical design and construction. Saline soils are characterized by increased density and reduced porosity, which can lead to significant changes in their compressibility when exposed to loads during flooding. Studies show that saline soils may be more susceptible to compressibility during prolonged soaking than conventional soils. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct special studies and calculations to assess the suffusion compressibility of saline soils in conditions of flooding and to take measures to prevent possible accidents. Thus, the study of the suffusion compressibility of saline soils of earthworks in conditions of flooding is an urgent and important task that requires special attention from geotechnical engineers and builders

The possibility of using phosphogypsum and off-balance sheet ores in the construction industry was considered. The results of the neutralization and reuse of technogenic waste from the phosphorous industry of phosphogypsum, which has a negative impact on the environment, are presented. The analysis of studies on the use of phosphogypsum in leading foreign countries is presented. It was found that 15% of phosphogypsum produced worldwide is reused, so it is important to explore new ways of processing phosphogypsum. Phosphogypsum widely used in agriculture as a fertilizer. The use of phosphogypsum in the road surface has not been widely used

The study of the predictor of academic achievements of first-year students, the indicator of which is calculated based on the final grades of academic achievements in academic performance are considered. Self-management skills were determined using the method of N. Peisakhov, and the sample included 90 first-year students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology of the E.A. Buketov Karaganda University. Quantitative analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. The study showed that the self-management operation «predictor» can be considered as a predictor of student academic performance. The field of search for psychological predictors of students' academic performance is constantly expanding. For example, psychologists around the world are beginning to carefully study various aspects of self-management skills in vocational education in order to improve the academic performance of your students. The article is devoted to the study of the rare metal ore occurrence Krasny Kordon, located in the Asubulak ore field (East Kazakhstan), which is part of the Kalba-Narym granitoid belt. The object is confined to the southern rare metal band controlled by the sublatitudinal Asubulak deep fault and is associated with albite-spodumene pegmatites forming the upper zones of the ore column. Based on field studies, analysis of mineral composition and geochemical data (Li, Ta, Nb, Sn, Cs, Rb), patterns of distribution of rare elements in pegmatite veins have been identified. Abnormally high concentrations of lithium, tantalum, niobium, tin, and caesium associated with lepidolite, spodumene, and pollucite have been found. The structural and morphological features of the veins, their zonation and analogy with the industrial Jubilee deposit indicate the high potential of the facility. The necessity of in-depth exploration to assess hidden ore bodies and transfer ore occurrence to the category of industrial deposits is substantiated. The results of the work are relevant for the development of the mineral resource base of rare metals in Kazakhstan

This article examines the production and application aspects of the calcium-containing ferroalloy – ferroaluminosilicalcium (FeAlSiCa) – derived from complex ores of the Shalkiya deposit. Particular attention is given to the metallurgical smelting process of FeAl- SiCa, considering the high Zn and Pb contents in these ores. The viability of this concept is positively evaluated, supported by the existing experience in pyrometallurgical processing. In addition, the study highlights the possibility of utilizing low-value raw materials that contain necessary components but currently lack industrial application. The analysis, including experimental smelting, emphasizes the dual benefits of FeAlSiCa production: creating a sustainable reductant alloy for ferroalloy smelting and simultaneously recovering volatile elements such as Zn and Pb. The results confirm that the integration of Shalkiya ores into FeAlSiCa technology can improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and expand the raw material base for Kazakhstan’s metallurgical industry.

Currently, rare metals are the most popular high-tech raw materials in the global economy. Due to the growing demand for rare metals and their unique properties, the prospects for the development of these metals are very favorable. There is a tendency to refine already known rare metal deposits, as well as re-evaluate ore occurrences and mineralization points, which emphasizes the relevance of the study. The authors consider the Narym ore region, located on the southeastern flank of the Kalba-Narym rare metal belt. The main practical value in the region is the greisen-quartz-vein stockwork tin-tungsten type of mineralization. Further detailed study of the Narym ore region will increase the mineral resource base of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The article analyzes the impact of fulfillment processes on logistics efficiency in Kazakhstan. The core objective of the study is to process primary statistical data obtained through a survey of focal logistics companies in the Republic of Kazakhstan to identify the most widely used fulfillment processes and assess their influence on key logistics efficiency indicators. A multilinear regression analysis based on four models has identified that critically important processes, such as receiving goods, delivery, inventory management, and liaising with transport companies have a statistically significant effect on various aspects of logistics efficiency. The findings indicate that delivery significantly enhances the level of information support (p=0.00) and accelerates document turnover (p=0.00). Similarly, inventory management plays a crucial role in optimizing document flow (p=0.00), while receiving goods influences the rate of production cost growth (p=0.05). These results highlight the importance of integrating specific fulfillment processes into supply chain management systems and may serve as a valuable resource for businesses and government agencies seeking to improve logistics efficiency in Kazakhstan

New compositions of geopolymer concrete (GPB) using high-tonnage industrial, man-made and finely ground glass waste have been presented. As part of the scientific research work, the possibility of using waste in combination with an alkaline activator solution (NaOH and Na2SiO3) to obtain geopolymer concrete with high performance was analyzed, and the chemical compositions of all the constituent components were identified. The results of the scientific research work show that the use of finely ground glass waste as a partial substitute material for sand in the composition provides sufficient mechanical properties, as well as shrinkage, where when the GPB dries, it decreases with an increase in the content of finely ground glass. The composition of GPB was developed with a ratio of water to binder equal to 0.35. In addition, the tests demonstrated an improvement in compressive and flexural strength characteristics with an increase in the glass component content to an optimal value. In the future, it is planned to expand the research taking into account different temperature and climatic conditions of operation. This will make it possible to adapt the developed GPB compositions to specific construction tasks
