The Unified National Testing in Kazakhstan evaluates students’ past academic performance, predicts career prospects, and guides state educational scholarship allocation. This study examines private university students’ perceptions of the relationship between their UNT scores, selected subjects, scholarship opportunities, and academic performance. Using a qualitative approach, data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with 20 second-year students from four majors: Finance, Geology, Nursing, and Law. Participants were selected through maximal variation sampling, ensuring diverse views by including those with the highest and lowest UNT scores and GPAs. Thematic analysis, guided by Creswell’s framework, revealed a gap between high school-specific academic skills and the broader competencies required for university success, such as critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills. Findings highlight the need to reform the scholarship allocation system by incorporating accessibility measures and better aligning high school preparation with university-level demands. This study examines the integration of key and transversal competencies within the evolving professional competencies of teachers, emphasizing the development of a "transversal nucleus" that facilitates cognitive, experiential, and personal growth. The research aimed to explore how these competencies enhance self-cognition, self-regulation, and self-perfection, particularly in fostering digital competence among pre-service teachers. Using an experimental approach, the study tested technological models designed to develop digital competence through structural and functional experiences and the synchronization of skills and relationships. A sample of 101 first-year pedagogy students enrolled in "Information and Communication Technologies and Work in the Digital Environment" participated. Findings revealed the emergence of a transgressive segment within the transversal nucleus of digital competence, extending from cognitive to practical levels. This segment enhances self-awareness, reconstructs behavior, and synergizes motivational and integrative effects. The study concludes that this transgressive formation is essential for the holistic development of digital competence, driving both personal and professional growth. It recommends further refinement and broader application of these models to foster digital competence in teacher training programs, ensuring alignment with evolving educational demands. This study aimed to identify the forms of classroom dialogue in synchronous science classes through Google Meet and explore the difficulties that hinder effective classroom dialogue in synchronous science classes from the point of view of science teachers. The study used a descriptive approach and the sample consisted of 10 science teachers teaching grades (5-8). A class observation card was used to analyze the forms of classroom dialogue. The study results showed that science teachers frequently used whole dialogue in science classes compared to non-whole dialogue. The teacher’s thinking through ideas with students had a higher relative weight than other forms of the whole dialogue. In addition, the results indicated a lack of students only talking in science classes. The results showed some difficulties in activating classroom dialogue in synchronous science classes. Several recommendations and suggestions are proposed to enhance science teaching through the online form. Keywords: Analyzing classroom, forms, synchronous, science class, Google Meet

One of the biggest advantages of technology is that people have the opportunity to access information faster and easier. In this way, people can update their knowledge in the face of constantly changing and self-updating information and improve their existing knowledge by replacing it with new ones. This rapid development has pushed educators to seek new ways in learning-teaching processes, and technology is increasingly being included in our education processes. Among the developed models, the distance education model is the most preferred in our education processes. This study aimed to examine the kind of results that will be obtained when the distance education model is integrated into in-service training. The descriptive survey method was used in the research. The opinions and experiences of the managers were used through the semi-structured interview form on the subject. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that the distance of in-service training does not cause problems in general, but it is not as effective as face-to-face training in terms of socialization and understanding of the subjects.
