Abstract As the main by-product of Rana chensinensis product processing, Rana chensinensis skin has important development and utilization value because it is rich in a variety of bioactive components. In this study, Bacillus subtilis was used as the fermentation strain to explore the efficient preparation process and antioxidant activity of peptides from Rana chensinensis skin. The fermentation conditions were optimized by single factor experiment and response surface analysis, and the optimal parameters were determined as follows: inoculum volume was 3%, fermentation time was 16 h, and shaking speed was 190 rpm. Under these conditions, the peptide content of the fermentation product reached 71.46 ± 0.92 mg/mL, and the DPPH scavenging rate was 81.29 ± 1.03%, which were 1.77-fold and 4.71-fold higher than those before fermentation, respectively, and the antioxidant activity was significantly improved. The molecular weight distribution of peptides in fermentation liquor was further analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The results showed that the proportion of peptides with molecular weight less than 10,000 Da was up to 90%, and 50.54% of small peptides were concentrated in the range of less than 3000 Da. Subsequently, small molecular peptides were obtained by ultrafiltration centrifugation, which showed higher DPPH scavenging rate, and their key role in antioxidant activity was verified. This study realized the high-value utilization of Rana chensinensis skin, not only laid an experimental foundation for its application in various fields, but also provided a scientific basis for the sustainable utilization of Rana chensinensis skin.

This article examines in detail FSB notification—a mandatory procedure for the import, export, and use of devices and software containing encryption technologies within the Eurasian Economic Union. It explains when notification is required, which products are subject to these requirements, what documents must be prepared, and the consequences for businesses without notification. This article will be useful for entrepreneurs, importers, manufacturers, and anyone working with equipment and software that utilize information security tools.

This document presents the Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN), analyzes the current situation in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), and proposes strategies for regional integration and cross-border health data exchange transactions. This work is carried out within the framework of the Regional Public Good project “Digital Health Trust Network in Latin America and the Caribbean to Improve Access to Health Services for Migrants” (RG-T4404), implemented by RACSEL, which aims to strengthen interoperability and continuity of care for people on the move across the region. The GDHCN, led by the World Health Organization, establishes standards and mechanisms to enable the secure international verification and exchange of digital health certificates, and constitutes a key component of the Pan-American Highway for Digital Health (PH4H). The regional analysis shows that a significant proportion of LAC countries already have regulatory frameworks and technical capacities that support integration into the network. Finally, the document highlights the benefits of joining the GDHCN in terms of local capacity strengthening, regional integration, and the adoption of international standards, and presents a maturity model proposed by RACSEL to support countries throughout the adoption process.

This study focuses on Vietnam, a nation prone to various natural disasters, including storms, typhoons, floods, flash floods, and landslides. Utilizing annual panel data from 2010 to 2020 at the provincial level, we conducted a panel data analysis of provincial natural disaster damage in monetary terms considering meteorological, hydrological, geographic, and socioeconomic factors, including elevation, terrain ruggedness index (TRI), precipitation, gross regional domestic product (GRDP) per capita, and agricultural GRDP. Our hybrid model results indicate that precipitation was a significant contributor to economic damage. Two geographical factors, elevation and TRI, also influenced it. Elevation was associated with a decrease in economic damage, while TRI was associated with an increase. Economic development, as indicated by GRDP per capita, was found to be associated with an increase in natural disaster damage at lower levels of GRDP per capita; however, this relationship shifted to one of decreasing damage after reaching a certain threshold in GRDP per capita. Provinces with higher agricultural GRDP tended to suffer greater damage, but within-province agricultural development was not statistically significant at the 5% level. This finding aligns with the understanding that crop farming and the aquaculture industry are more susceptible to natural disasters because they are more directly exposed to natural elements. This also implies that regions where agriculture comprises a significant share of the economy are less resilient to natural disasters. These findings offer valuable insights for policymakers for sustainable economic development.

The textile printing and dyeing industry, with huge chemical demand, has a negative impact on the ecosystem. Chemical footprint quantifies the toxic impacts of chemical pollutants by assessing their behaviour in the environment. In this paper, four methods were used to calculate and evaluate the chemical footprint of a polyester dress printing and dyeing process. The chemical footprint of the printing and dyeing process of a polyester dress, calculated with USEtox, Assessment of Mean Impact, Score System, and Strategy Tool, was 1585.51 PAF×m3 ×day, 14089.04 l, 331, and 75, respectively. Scouring, colouring, pretreatment, and printing were identified as the major procedures contributing, with the antifoaming agents and the chelating disperse agents as the major auxiliaries contributing. The results of the Strategy Tool are limited in their representativeness of environmental load. Compared to other methods, AMI ensures that the evaluation results are scientific while maintaining user-friendliness.

With the rapid advancement of image processing techniques, digital image forgery detection has emerged as a critical research area in information forensics. This paper proposes a novel deep learning model based on Multi-view Multi-dimensional Forgery Detection Networks (MMFD-Net), designed to simultaneously determine whether an image has been tampered with and precisely localize the forged regions. By integrating a Multi-stream Edge Feature Learning module with a Multi-dimensional Information Fusion module, MMFD-Net employs joint supervised learning to extract semantics-agnostic forgery features, thereby enhancing both detection performance and model generalization. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MMFD-Net achieves state-of-the-art results on multiple public datasets, excelling in both pixel-level localization and image-level classification tasks, while maintaining robust performance in complex scenarios.

Material defects in titanium alloys, powder alloys, and wrought superalloys can compromise the structural integrity of aero-engine disks, thereby leading to uncontained failure, which poses a significant threat to aircraft safety. Studying how material defects affect rotor disks provides technical support for improving aircraft safety. Since natural defects rarely occur during normal production, researchers have developed methods to prepare defect-containing materials artificially. These methods primarily utilize hot isostatic pressing (HIP) to bond the defects into materials. Artificial defects are now well-established for titanium alloys and powder metallurgy alloys and are widely used in research. This paper describes the existing methods for creating artificial defects in titanium alloys and powder metallurgy alloys. Besides, this paper presents experiments creating "dirty white spot" defects in GH4169 superalloy. The experimental results show that although GH4169 with dirty white spot defects prepared by HIP can meet the requirements of ultrasonic testing research, the low mechanical strength of the HIP interface will affect the fatigue test results. Then, the differences and causes of the three types of materials containing artificial defects were compared and analyzed.

This study analyses the experience of integrating sustainable development modules into the curricula of two Kazakh universities. Unlike most Western models, the project is adapted to the conditions of a developing country, taking into account limited resources and institutional barriers. Key findings include an increase in students’ knowledge, but a group of “ecological indifference” was identified that requires special pedagogical approaches. Practical difficulties, such as resistance from teachers, and the rigidity of the curriculum reduce the effectiveness of integration. The study offers not only an implementation algorithm, but also a framework for its adaptation in other post-Soviet contexts, filling a gap in the literature on sustainable development for developing regions.
