Revolutionising Business and Management Education With Generative AI
Business education is integrating Generative AI (GAI) so as to transform the conventional teaching model by enhancing learning experiences, promoting innovation, and improving decision-making. This study deals with curriculum design enhancement, personalized learning, and the nurture of essential skills such as problem-solving and strategic thinking with the help of GAI tools. However, despite the emergence of GAI provided the direct application, effectiveness, and scalability in business education but for better understanding a gap still found. A systematic literature review using the PRISMA framework was conducted from 2014 to 2025, identifying studies on GAI application in business schools. Findings reveal that GAI provides personalized learning, assists real-time decision-making, and scales up curriculum delivery. However, challenges like faculty preparedness, ethical concerns, and integration issues remain. The study emphasizes the need for curriculum redesign, faculty capacity building, and the ethical use of AI.

This chapter explores the role of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) in transforming the global financial ecosystem, focusing on its objectives, challenges, and potential. It highlights how DeFi platforms leverage blockchain technology to provide financial services without intermediaries like banks. The chapter identifies gaps in existing literature, particularly around DeFi's long-term sustainability, regulatory challenges, and scalability. Using a systematic literature review, the impact of DeFi on lending, borrowing, insurance, and asset management is analyzed. Findings show that DeFi enhances financial inclusion, transparency, and efficiency, but faces challenges such as regulatory uncertainties, legal issues, security risks, and user experience concerns. The chapter suggests that DeFi has the potential to revolutionize financial services, offering significant implications for academics, society, industry, and researchers.
Read moreIntolerance of Ambiguity Mediates the Links Between Systems Thinking With Dichotomous Thinking and Attributional Complexity in a Canadian Sample
ABSTRACTDichotomous thinking is often employed to break down and simplify wicked problems (e.g., climate change) arising from complex adaptive systems (CASs). However, these dilemmas display emergent properties that cannot be reduced to the individual systemic parts. In contrast, systems thinking is considered to be essential in understanding the behaviour of CASs. The capacity to work with the ambiguity of CASs and wicked problems has been posited to be an integral aspect of a systems mindset. If so, this may help to explain why systems thinkers are believed to be disinclined towards dichotomous thinking and why they prefer multicausal explanations for complex phenomena. Across 359 Canadian undergraduate participants, results showed that systems thinking negatively predicted dichotomous thinking and positively predicted attributional complexity. Intolerance of ambiguity partially mediated both of these associations. Therefore, systems thinkers may avoid using dichotomous modes of thought and prefer multicasual attributions because they are comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Methodological Application of Bootstrapping for Predictive Data Analytics
The existing research on Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) focuses on conceptualization and operationalization of the problematic internet use - causing psychological disorders and social disorientation. The research supports conceptual advancements towards IAD occurrence but is inadequate in methodological applications, as IAD is a complex construct in multidisciplinary environment. The primary objective of this study is to deploy an inventive approach based on confidence interval overlap to determine whether two popularly researched influencers (psychological disorder and social disorientation) have any real significant difference towards inducing IAD. The analysis was done on primary data, collected through focused group and questionnaire methods. Statistical tool PASW v. 20 was used by enabling Bootstrapping Procedure on Unstandardized Coefficients of Regression Analysis. The study concludes that IAD is an outcome of investigated influencers but fails to signify any real difference in two interrelated concepts. The study is particularly useful for researchers using point estimates based on confidence interval overlap to determine significant differences.
Read moreExperimental Investigation on the Port Timing of a Compressed Air Engine with Exhaust Predicting Technique
The air engine is one of promising propulsion system in the era of crisis of fossil fuels and demand for efficient, low emission technology. Friction due to conventional cam mechanism created a scope of research to improve the performance of the engine. Camless engine replaces the convention cam by variable valve train mechanism. Variable valve train comprises the electronics solenoid operated direction control valve and have the capability to rising cylinder pressure quick. In the air engine, compressed air entered into the cylinder requires enough time for expansion and the amount of air remains to expand reflects a higher exhaust pressure. Along with this, how quickly released expanded air and their relationship with performance is critical aspects of analysis. In this research, work-study concentrated on intake advance angle (ISA) and exhaust advance angle (EAA) which directly reflects on the amount of air entered and time required for complete expansion. Experiments conducted with the electronics control unit (ECU), predicts exhaust pressure based on expansion takes place in the cylinder. Results evidence of improvement in the performance of the engine with ISA with the controller only. Consequently, the experimental study provides a base for the design and development of self-decisive pollution-free engine system for improved performance.
