This policy paper discusses the quality of Buddhist Marriage Guidance, which is currently not optimal in equipping prospective brides and grooms with an understanding of Dhamma principles and practical skills for fostering harmonious families. The main policy issue is the severe inconsistency in implementation and curriculum, triggered by weak binding national regulations and a policy focus that is too administrative rather than substantive program outcomes. Through descriptive qualitative methods, in which the author analyzes this issue using public policy theory approaches (such as Standardization Theory, Implementation Failure, and Result-Oriented Administration) and supported by an USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) analysis for problem priority, it is found that the root of the problem lies in the failure of the oversight system to address the high autonomy of the Assembly and resistance to standardization. The USG analysis identifies five main problems, with three of the top priorities: Curriculum Inconsistency, Unstandardized Facilitators, and Cross-Sector Synchronization (Scores 13-14). Therefore, this policy paper recommends the issuance of a Decree of the Director General of Buddhist Community Guidance on the Establishment and Management of a Centralized Digital Platform. This decision was chosen based on William N. Dunn's scoring, which showed that the digital solution achieved the highest score (22) because it was considered the most efficient and capable of ensuring equal access to the Minimum Core Curriculum to all Buddhists, fundamentally shifting the focus from fulfilling administrative requirements to achieving substantive results in the form of increasing program efficacy and the quality of Buddhist families in Indonesia.

Recent efforts in artificial life research (Alife) have leveraged cellular automata (CA) to probe emergence across different organizational scales, yet most models lack adherence to thermodynamic laws and thus artificial entities do not represent real life processes accurately. Extending our earlier analysis of CA for Alife and critiques of thermodynamic omissions [1] [2], we present a closed loop control model that jointly governs environmental fields and entities under explicit energetic budgets. The environment comprises reaction-diffusion processes and resource reservoirs while entities are endowed with metabolically constrained policies and internal stores.

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a complex and potentially life-threatening inflammatory condition with a highly variable clinical course, ranging from mild, self-limiting episodes to severe necrotizing forms. Among its common complications ascites has traditionally been viewed as a passive byproduct of peritoneal inflammation and enzymatic leakage with limited diagnostic or prognostic utility. However, growing evidence challenges this perspective, suggesting that ascitic fluid in AP represents a dynamic and clinically meaningful component of disease progression. In this editorial we reflected on the findings presented by Rao et al, who highlighted the diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic significance of ascitic fluid in AP. Easily accessible markers such as lactate dehydrogenase may provide early prognostic insight while emerging molecular biomarkers and cytokine profiles offer promise for more precise risk stratification and individualized therapy. We argue that the systematic evaluation of ascitic fluid should be integrated into the clinical management of moderate to severe AP. Incorporating ascites analysis into standard diagnostic protocols may enhance early risk assessment, inform therapeutic decisions, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. Ascitic fluid should be recognized as a clinically valuable marker and an important source of information in the evolving landscape of AP care.

Life on Earth exhibits intricate levels of organization, from molecular interactions to ecosystems, each level manifesting emergent properties distinct from its predecessors. While prior research delves into understanding life's complexities, recent endeavors focus on simulating life through artificial means. Cellular Automata (CA) stand as a dominant tool in silico research [1], offering insights into fundamental life principles. However, existing models often lack considerations for thermodynamic laws and fail to emulate real-life physiological processes.

Explosive energy can be used in metal forming processes, e.g. for bulk forming, sheet forming and for other processes. This paper presents the experimental research and numerical modelling of the process of sphere deformation by explosive forming. The assembly for forming a sphere with a diameter of 210 mm was welded from flat segments and annealed after welding. The material of the sphere was steel St12 according to DIN 1629/3.The thickness of the sheet metal was 2.0 mm.The sphere was modelled in the SolidWorks program and 3Dprinted with the polylactic acid (PLA) material. The Poladyn 31ECO explosive was used for the experimental investigation into the process of deep drawing of the sphere by explosion, while the LS-DYNA hydrodynamic software was used for simulation. The pressure in the sphere was measured with a pair of copper crushers. It is shown that the simulation satisfactorily reproduces the experimentally measured pressure.

Abstract This paper examines the potential for transforming the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering building in Mostar into a Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB). The study assesses the building’s current energy consumption and explores feasible upgrades to achieve complete energy independence and zero CO 2 emissions. The hybrid system, composed of rooftop solar panels, wind turbines, and a heat pump, has been thoroughly analyzed in this research to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion. Using software tools such as HOMER Pro and SUNNY DESIGN, the study models renewable energy capacities and simulates system performance to determine the investment potential and economic feasibility of achieving net-zero energy status. The findings offer valuable insights into practical strategies for implementing NZEB principles in public buildings across Bosnia and Herzegovina, contributing to broader sustainability goals and energy security in the region.

(Sig. = 0,00<0,05).
