Objetivo: avaliar as práticas de educação em saúde das Equipes de Saúde Bucal (ESB) em escolas vinculadas e não vinculadas ao Programa Saúde na Escola (PSE), à luz das orientações requeridas aos profissionais da Atenção Básica. Métodos: Estudo descritivo com abordagem quantitativa, realizado com cirurgiões dentistas (CD) das ESB da Atenção Básica de Saúde do Recife. A amostra foi o universo dos CDs (26) das unidades de saúde do Distrito IV. Para a coleta de dados foi elaborado um questionário semiestruturado submetido à validação de face, com questões categóricas e de grau de satisfação percebida. Utilizaram-se cálculos de estatística descritiva para as variáveis estudadas. Resultados: Participaram 19 CD, desses, 57,9% realizavam ações coletivas de educação em saúde em escolas vinculadas ao PSE. A maioria possui especialização em saúde da família, 64,3% deles possuem capacitação sobre educação em saúde e 28,6% em educação popular. Independente de atuarem ou não em escolas com PSE, todos realizam as ações de saúde bucal preconizadas pelo PSE. Os CD sem PSE apresentaram integração mais forte com as escolas (87,5%) e são os que incluem outros profissionais no planejamento e nas avaliações das ações. Contudo, em ambos os grupos a maioria dos CD recorrem a estratégias educacionais transmissíveis por meio de palestras e focadas apenas em mudanças atitudinais em saúde bucal. Conclusão: Embora as ações realizadas sigam as recomendações do PSE, há deficiências relacionadas ao planejamento participativo, à integralidade das ações e sua abrangência comunitária, além de persistirem práticas educacionais restritas.

Abstract Introduction Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects the esophagus. Previous studies have indicated a substantial increase of EoE over the last decades. The aim of the current study was to describe the incidence and prevalence of EoE over time and by geographical regions in Sweden, utilizing nationwide population-based registries.Material and Methods The number of hospital admissions (in-patient and out-patient) for patients were identified using ICD-10-SE code K20.9A from the National Patient Registry between 1st January 2011 and 31st December 2021. Crude incidence and prevalence numbers were presented per 100,000 person years and persons, respectively.Results In 2011, no hospital visits of EoE were recorded. A total of 3,243 incident patients (2,379 (73.4%) men and 864 (26.6%) women) had a record of EoE between 2012 and 2021. The incidence increased over calendar year in where the incidence was from 1.59 per 100,000 person years in 2012 to 5.34 per 100,000 person years in 2021. The prevalence was 1.29 per 100,000 person years and 31.02 per 100,000 person years in 2012 and 2021, respectively. Major differences in the prevalence between geographical regions in Sweden were observed, e.g. in 2021, the prevalence was 12.24 in Västernorrland compared to 43.26 in Västra Götaland per 100,000 person years, which is similar to the prevalence in the Stockholm region.Conclusion The incidence and prevalence of eosinophilic esophagitis has significantly increased over calendar year but differs between geographical regions in Sweden. These differences should be further investigated.

Tras la pandemia del COVID-19, la actividad turística se ha encontrado con un punto de inflexión en su desarrollo. En la siguiente investigación, basada en un estudio de la demanda realizado en 2018 con una muestra representativa de 2.203 casos, se presenta, en dicho período, un estado del turismo cultural en la ciudad de Santander, y se propone un posible escenario futuro con relación al turismo en esta ciudad a medida que se vaya recuperando la actividad económica.Los resultados muestran que la ciudad de Santander es, eminentemente, un destino nacional, fiel y seguro, y que la positiva valoración dada por los turistas en sus anteriores experiencias propicia una etapa pos-COVID-19 relativamente favorable y con gran capacidad de resiliencia turística. Favorecer la digitalización, la sostenibilidad y, sobre todo, la seguridad, serán tres elementos clave para recuperar la confianza de los principales mercados emisores y para reforzar los vínculos con el turista.

Abstract Although cancer immunotherapy approaches have focused primarily on driving T cell mediated immunity, attention has turned to other immune cell types within the tumor microenvironment (TME) to improve efficacy. Growing evidence supports a role for tumor-infiltrating B cells in complementing T cell-mediated immunity and contributing to the immunomodulation of cancer. Analyses of RNA sequencing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) have correlated high expression of B cell genes with improved patient survival in a range of cancer types. However, it is likely that effective anti-tumor immunity involves interactions between both B and T cells. To investigate the relative contribution of B cells to the overall TME across multiple tumor types simultaneously, we have examined a multi-tumor tissue microarray (TMA) comprising 29 different cancer types represented by approximately 12 unique donors per indication and duplicate 1mm cores per donor (1 from invasive margin [IM] and 1 from tumor center [TC]). Serial sections were stained by single-plex immunohistochemistry for CD20, CD3, CD4 and CD8, and immune cells enumerated by digital image analysis (CellProfilerTM). Analysis of overall immune infiltration regardless of core location (IM and TC combined) revealed tumor indications such as NSCLC, gastric, TNBC, cutaneous SCC and cervical to be most highly infiltrated, and GIST, GBM and prostate to exhibit the fewest tumor-infiltrating immune cells. B cell frequencies correlated with T cell densities for most tumor types with some notable exceptions including, for example, ER+ BC and gallbladder cancer where the proportion of B cells was higher relative to T cells, and TNBC where the converse pattern was evident. Spatial analyses revealed increased B cell frequencies in IM compared with TC, correlating with the distribution of T cells in the TME for the majority of tumor indications. However, a contrasting expression pattern was observed for ER+ BC, NSCLC SCC and cutaneous SCC where B cell frequencies were greater in TC. Clear evidence for presence of B cells in tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) was observed for some tumor donor cores (e.g. gastric cancer). Taken together, we describe the relative distribution of B cells in the TME across multiple tumor types simultaneously. This approach demonstrates the benefits of utilizing an immuno-oncology focussed multi-tumor TMA to interrogate B cell biology and to dissect how heterogeneity of this cell population may contribute to anti-tumor immunity. In contemporary TV audience prediction, outliers are considered mere anomalies in the otherwise cyclical trend and seasonality components that can be used to make predictions. In the ReTV project, we want to provide more accurate audience predictions in order to enable innovative services for TV content recommendation. This paper presents a concept for identifying the source of outliers and factoring TV content categories and the occurrence of events as additional features for training TV audience prediction. We show how this can improve the accuracy of the audience prediction. Finally, we outline how this work could also be combined with AI-enabled audience profiling to power new content recommendation services. <br>

O uso racional de medicamentos requer que os usuários utilizem o medicamento apropriado para sua condição clínica, em doses que atendam às suas necessidades de saúde individuais, por um período adequado e ao menor custo para si e para a comunidade, para tanto há a necessidade que a prescrição do medicamento seja realizada por um profissional especializado. O presente estudo teve o objetivo de avaliar a origem das receitas de psicotrópicos aviadas em um município do Oeste do Paraná no ano de 2016, segundo a portaria 344/98 do Ministério da Saúde, assim como a especialidade médica de seu prescritor. Este trabalho foi um estudo transversal descritivo, retrospectivo, não controlado. Os dados foram coletados a partir de uma amostra de todos os receituários médicos (inclusos na portaria 344/98) de posse da Vigilância Sanitária do Município. Foi encontrado que, 78,7% das receitas foram oriundas de uma consulta com Clínico Geral, 7,9% por Psiquiatra, 4,3% por Neurologista e o restante (9,1%) por outras cinco especialidades médicas.

It is usually believed that surface plasmon (SP) coupling is practically useful only for improving the performance of a light-emitting diode (LED) with a low intrinsic internal quantum efficiency (IQE). In this Letter, we demonstrate that the performance of a commercial-quality blue LED with a high IQE (>80%) can still be significantly improved through SP coupling based on a surface Ag nanoparticle (NP) structure. The performance improvement of such an LED is achieved by increasing the Mg doping concentration in its p-AlGaN electron blocking layer to enhance the hole injection efficiency such that the p-GaN layer thickness can be significantly reduced without sacrificing its electrical property. In this situation, the distance between surface Ag NPs and quantum wells is decreased and hence SP coupling strength is increased. By reducing the distance between the surface Ag NPs and the top quantum well to 66nm, the IQE can be increased to almost 90% (an ∼11% enhancement) and the electroluminescence intensity can be enhanced by ∼24%.

This study performs various thermal treatments on Indium Tin Oxide (In2O3 + SnO2) films, which are the transparent conducting layers for GaN light emitting diodes (LEDs). Structural characterization by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) indicates that the ITO films have the least crystalline grain boundary and greatest grain size after thermal treatment at 580 °C for 10 min, which gives a minimum forward voltage of LEDs of 2.95 V and the maximum light output power of LEDs is 177.51 mW at 125 mA. The high output intensity in the near horizontal direction is also greater than that for treatment at other temperatures.
