This report presents the optical performance and environmental durability of a radiation-resistant polarization-maintaining Er/Yb co-doped fiber (EYDF) developed by Fujikura Ltd. for space communications. The EYDF features a double cladding structure with a PANDA (polarization-maintaining and absorption-reducing) design, employing germanium doping for radiation resistance and phosphorus co-doping to improve Yb-to-Er energy transfer efficiency. To verify the reliable operation of this EYDF as a high-power optical amplifier (HPOA) in space environments, Nikon Corp. assembled and evaluated an amplifier incorporating this EYDF. The HPOA achieved an output power exceeding 30 W with ratios of signal to amplified spontaneous emission exceeding 37 dB and demonstrated stable operation for over 400 h. The polarization extinction ratio consistently exceeded 17 dB during continuous 10 W operation under temperature cycling from 25 °C to 45 °C, demonstrating robustness against temperature variations. High-temperature durability tests caused no significant changes in optical characteristics. These results demonstrate that the radiation-resistant EYDF is suitable for space-based optical communication systems.

Metode penelitian ini adalah seminar hukum dengan pendekatan PAR untuk memberikan informasi tentang peran Advokat bagi masyarakat Pagatan Besar dan relevansinya dengan hukum Islam yang menekankan saling membantu dan menekankan keadilan, sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat Pagatan yang kurang paham tentang peran advokat untuk membantu individu atau kelompok yang kurang mampu, hasil seminar memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan serta manfaat untuk diterapkan secara praktis oleh masyarakat.

Text classification is a well-established area of machine learning that involves automatically categorizing text into predefined categories, such as positive or negative in sentiment analysis. It typically involves applying a machine learning algorithm to learn a predictive model from a set of labeled training texts and using the model to classify new texts. Large language models (LLMs) have been successfully applied to various natural language processing tasks, including text classification. There are two main approaches to text classification with LLMs: In-Context Learning and Fine-Tuning. In-Context Learning involves prompt engineering, allowing the model to learn a new task using only a few demonstration examples, while Fine-Tuning adjusts the model’s parameters with additional labeled data. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a retrieval process that enhances LLM performance by selecting relevant examples. This paper presents our work on utilizing In-Context Learning and RAG to identify delay-related statements during the document review process of construction delay disputes. We also report the results of our experiments comparing the accuracy of In-Context Learning with that of traditional machine learning algorithms, such as logistic regression and KNN.

Başka eserleri de olmasına rağmen, Hayâtü’l- hayevân adlı eser aslında Kemâleddîn ed-Demîrî’nin ilim dünyasında şöhrete erişmesini sağlayan en önemli telifidir. Yazar, bir fakih olmasının yanında adeta zooloji benzeri ansiklopedik bir eseri kaleme almış ve hatta onu “suğrâ”, “vustâ” ve “kübrâ diye üç ayrı kategori halinde tedvin etmiştir. Eserin “kübrâ” olan nüshasının para-zoolojik bir sıfata haiz olduğu ifade edilmiştir. Mesela bazıları bu eserin bir folklor derlemesi görünümünde olduğunu söylemişlerdir. Bir taraftan zooloji kitabı görünümündeyken diğer taraftan önemli bilgileri içinde barındıran bir fıkıh kitabı özelliği de taşıdığı malumdur. Eserde hayvan etleri ile ilgili helâl ve haramlık durumları, onların avlanılması, satışının yapılması, hayvanların telef edilmesi konularındaki fıkhî hükümleri bir bir izaha çalışmıştır. İslam hukuku eserlerinde eti helâl olan ve olmayan hayvanlar konusu genel ilkeler bağlamında zikredilir ve hayvan isimlerine göre detaylandırılmaz. İşte Demîrî, bu fıkhî ilkeler çerçevesinde bizzat hayvanın kendisini inceleyerek bu eserini kaleme almıştır. Klasik fıkıh kaynaklarında ismine yer verilmeyen birçok hayvan bu eserde detaylı bir şekilde ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada Demîrî’nin Hayâtü’l-hayevân adlı eseri incelenerek, hayvanlar hakkında hüküm verirken esas aldığı ilkeler ortaya konulmuştur.

Caracterizada por ser um processo introspectivo e retrospectivo no qual o tradutor tece comentários que justificam suas escolhas de forma autocrítica, consciente e reflexiva, a Tradução Comentada vem crescendo exponencialmente no campo dos Estudos da Tradução. Propomo-nos apresentar uma tradução comentada do gênero literário poesia da obra Poesia Surda para Sempre, de autoria de Rodrigo Custódio da Silva. Optamos por seguir uma perspectiva bakhtiniana do enunciado. Centramos nossos comentários em aspectos sócio históricos relativos ao sujeito surdo e a sua afirmação identitária manifestada por meio da resistência e uso da língua de sinais.

This research have to identify the perception of accounting professionals in the municipality of São Mateus do Sul, in the state of Paraná, regarding the civil liability insurance contract. The accounting professional, in the exercise of his profession, needs to be updated of frequent changes in the legislation and the varied information to be provided. Thus, it is possible that malpractices may occur that may result in financial damage. These damages are often to be borne by the professional himself. In this scenario, it is possible to acquire the civil liability insurance contract, which have to cover losses caused to third parties. This research had a questionnaire to the accounting professionals of the city of São Mateus do Sul, applied through virtual means with the intention of perceiving the knowledge of these professionals about the civil liability and insurance contract of the accountant. Based on this research, it was verified that the accounting professionals are aware of the accountant's civil liability and of the coverage insurance, however the majority identified themselves as not contracting this coverage instrument.

Polygon thermal resistant aluminum conductors fiber reinforced (PLY-TACFR) conductors are expected to have lower electrical resistance, lower wind load, and lighter weight compared to conventionally used thermal resistant aluminum conductors steel reinforced (TACSR) conductors because of the changes in shape and core material. This study investigated the mechanical properties and snow accretion and vibration characteristics of PLY-TACFR in real environments, through full-scale field observations and experiments. Based on the results, PLY-TACFR was found to have a lower linear expansion and drag coefficient compared to TACSR. PLY-TACFR have larger torsional stiffness than TACSR in small rotational angle regions, leading to less snow accretion than for TACSR. Additionally, general countermeasures for snow accretion proved to be effective for PLY-TACFR. Furthermore, the galloping amplitudes were lower than those of TACSR due to smaller sag. These results indicated that PLY-TACFR are equivalent or higher to TACSR regarding basic mechanical properties and snow accretion and vibration characteristics in winter.

Será discorrido nesse artigo a temática da alfabetização na idade certa, e a sua importância para uma formação adequada do aluno dentro da educação básica. O trabalho trata-se de uma revisão de literatura balizada em autores que possuíam produções relevantes dentro da área de interesse deste trabalho. A hipótese aqui levantada é até que ponto a alfabetização é um pré-requisito para o processo de formação do educando para as demais etapas que compõem a educação básica. Os objetivos aqui almejados são os de discutir a importância da alfabetização na idade certa para o desenvolvimento do aluno nas demais etapas de escolarização; debater acerca de como estes processos se desenvolvem, dialogar como ocorrem e são entendidos pelos alunos. Estruturou-se o trabalho em três subtópicos, que um a um, foram desenvolvendo e qualifi cando a produção aqui apresentada. O primeiro subtópico se debruçou sobre ao conceito geral de alfabetização, o segundo discorreu sobre como a alfabetização ocorre, fi nalizando com o terceiro tópico que nos apresenta a importância deste processo para a vida do aluno. Vimos então que a alfabetização na idade certa é, na sociedade atual, mais do que somete fazer com que o aluno consiga juntar sílabas e ler palavras, ela tem a capacidade de apresentar um mundo amplo e conectado, onde a leitura e, principalmente, a interpretação do que lhe é apresentado é de extrema importância. Assim, a alfabetização na idade certa mais do que nunca é um direito fundamental da criança de até oito anos de idade.
