Read morePhase retrieval for arbitrary complex-valued objects using structured illumination
A method to solve of the phase retrieval problem in the non-convex formulation has been proposed for complex-valued objects with the support constraint. It has been shown that two coded diffraction patterns (CDPs) obtained in the same Fresnel or Fraunhofer diffraction plane by masking the object with two, direct and inverse, random binary amplitude masks are sufficient to reconstruct an arbitrary complex-valued object with an accuracy to the global phase. The general solution of the problem was found as the sum of two mutually phase-consistent partial solutions obtained by applying the modified error-reduction or hybrid input-output algorithm to each of two “mask+CDP” pairs. The results of model experiments confirmed the possibility of noise-resistant and high-accuracy retrieval of complex-valued objects of various types with the oversampling ratio σ ≥ 2 making use of a small number of iterations. The method is applicable to coherent radiation of any kind.

A method to solve of the phase retrieval problem in a non-convex formulation for complex-valued objects with a support constraint is proposed. It is shown that two coded diffraction patterns (CDPs) obtained in the same Fresnel or Fraunhofer diffraction plane by masking an object with two, direct and inverse, random binary amplitude masks, are sufficient to reconstruct an arbitrary complex-valued object up to the global phase. The general solution of the problem was found as the sum of two mutually phase-consistent partial solutions obtained by applying the modified error-reduction or hybrid input-output algorithm to each of two "mask+CDP" pairs. The results of model experiments confirmed the possibility of noise-resistant and high-accuracy retrieval of complex-valued objects of various types with the oversampling ratio σ ≥ 2 making use of a small number of iterations. Read moreResearch of Topological Properties of Network Reflections Obtained Using Different Algorithms for Scanning Initial Networks
Abstract Many modern types of researches of networks use mechanisms for their monitoring, after which conclusions about the topology of such networks are drawn. This paper shows that this approach is wrong. The reflections of the initial networks obtained as a result of monitoring and partially reflect the properties of these initial networks is often significantly different. The properties of these network reflections significantly depend on the algorithms used for scanning the initial network. To demonstrate this statement, the paper researches the properties of network reflections obtained using three scanning algorithms, which implement the following principles: (1) the transition to the node according to the PageRank algorithm; (2) the transition to the node that has the highest PageRank; (3) the transition to the node that has the highest degree. The networks based on the Erdös-Renyi and Barabási-Albert models are considered as basic. The paper shows that the values of the characteristics of network reflections, which are close to the topology and characteristics of the initial networks, are achieved only during approaching the scanning steps to the number of nodes in these initial networks. The obtained results are important in the methodical plan and can be considered as a statement of a problem of finding the algorithm of scanning of a complex network using of which gives most adequately parameters of the initial network (first of all, the degree distribution).KeywordsMonitoringNetwork scanningNetwork topologyBarabási-Albert modelErdös-Renyi modelPageRank algorithmNetwork densityDegreeDegree distributionPower law
Read moreSensitivity of superconducting quantum interferometers to rotational motions
Based on the principle of equivalence of the general theory of relativity and the definition of the non-Euclidean metric of space in a non-inertial frame of reference associated with rotation, a geometric (topological) phase is found that occurs when traversing any closed loop. This approach made it possible to establish a deep physical analogy between various wave effects (both classical and quantum) in closed waveguides that arise under the conditions of their rotation. Due to the coherence of the wave function of spinless charge carriers (Cooper pairs of conduction electrons with oppositely directed spins) in superconductors in the ground quantum state (superconducting state), the appearance of a geometric phase in closed loops under rotation conditions can lead to interference effects in the presence of weak bonds in the loop. To register interference effects, it was proposed to use superconducting quantum interferometers placed in the electric field of a cylindrical or spherical capacitor. In accordance with the general theory of the geometric phase of rotation, the study obtained the basic relations between the geometric phase of rotation and the phase of the wave function induced by an external magnetic field, and an estimate of their values was obtained for acceptable values of the angular velocity of rotation, dimensions of superconducting quantum interferometers, and voltages on the capacitor. The errors in measuring the magnetic flux during the rotation of the measuring complex are determined. Taking into account the dependence of the magnitude of the geometric phase of rotation on the voltage across the capacitor and the size of the superconducting quantum interferometers, and also taking into account the specific range of angular velocities of rotation, the sensitivity of superconducting quantum interferometers to the angular velocity can be regulated by a rational choice of these parameters. Based on the results obtained, a new method for measuring magnetic fields was proposed using two superconducting quantum interferometers with different values of areas bounded by closed contours under conditions of rotational movements, which makes it possible to compensate for the disturbing influence of rotations on magnetic measurements, as well as to simultaneously determine the magnetic induction and angular velocity of rotation.

Read moreUsage of Decision Support Systems for Modelling of Conflicts During Recognition of Information Operations
Abstract This chapter describes an application of decision support systems to conflict modelling in information operations recognition. An information operation is considered as a complex weakly structured system. We suggest a model of conflict between two subjects, based on the second-order reflexive model. We describe a method for construction of the design pattern for knowledge bases of decision support systems. We also suggest a methodology allowing to use decision support systems for modelling of conflicts during information operations recognition. The methodology is based on the use of expert assessments and content monitoring data.KeywordsInformation operation recognitionDecision support systemKnowledge baseContent-monitoring systemReflexive modelConflict modelling
Read moreCreating Directed Weighted Network of Terms Based on Analysis of Text Corpora
One of the most urgent problems of natural language processing -formalization and creation ontological models of subject domains based on the text corpora is considered. In this work, a new approach for determining the weights of links in the network of terms that correspond to certain concepts of the considered subject domain is considered. In particular, applying the proposed approach for determining the weights of links in the network of terms, the terminological ontology of the subject domain that related to an ecological footprint was created as an approbation. Further analysis of the created model made it possible to determine the most influential and significant links between the corresponding nodes in the network of terms that in turn correspond to certain concepts of the considered subject domain. The proposed and considered approaches and methods were programmed and using the software for modeling and visualization of graphs – Gephi the built directed networks of terms were visualized for better visual perception. The weighted directed networks of terms built according to the proposed approach can be used for automatically creating terminological ontologies of subject domains with the participation of experts. Also, the research result can be used to create personal search interfaces for users of information retrieval systems and also can be used in navigation systems in data-bases. It should help users of such systems simplify the process of searching the relevant information.
