Virtual Counselling and Teletherapy Platforms for Students and Educators
In recent years, educational institutions have undergone a digital transformation, shifting from traditional classrooms to hybrid and fully online learning environments. Alongside this, mental health challenges among students and educators have become more visible. This chapter explores how virtual counselling and teletherapy platforms address these issues, focusing on digital mental health solutions integrated into education. It covers tools ranging from AI-powered chatbots for instant support to professional video therapy for personalized care. Key benefits include accessibility, flexibility, and scalability, while challenges involve privacy, technological barriers, and therapeutic effectiveness. Through real-world examples and case studies, successful implementations are highlighted. The chapter concludes with practical strategies for broader adoption, emphasizing digital mental health solutions as compassionate extensions of the educational ecosystem that support well-being and resilience in modern education.

Microstructure, Mechanical, and Magnetic Properties of Medium Manganese Steel Subjected to ART Heat Treatment Cycle
A type of low-carbon (0.19 wt.% C), medium-manganese (6.67% Mn) steel containing 0.78% Al was cast and converted to 2 mm thick wrought steel. This type of steel was subjected to austenitization at a temperature range of 600 to 800 °C with 20 °C steps, followed by air cooling, to develop the third-generation Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS). Microstructural changes were analyzed through Electron Back Scattered Diffraction (EBSD), mechanical properties were assessed through tensile testing, and magnetic properties were evaluated and correlated to enable potential Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) of the heat treatment conditions/property variations. With an increase in austenitization temperature, the strengths (Yield Strength (YS) and Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS)) were decreased with an increase in total elongation in the steel up to around 680-700 °C, and then a reversing trend was found. The strength-elongation product is found to be maximum (> 30 GPa.%) at such temperature range due to the Transformation Induced Plasticity (TRIP) effect from the presence of the maximum quantity of Retained Austenite (RA) in addition to bainitic phases. A decrease in remanence and maximum induction was found with the increase in coercivity as RA content increased in the steel up to 700 °C and then a reversing trend was found, with the exception of coercivity, which peaked at 720 °C. Hence, measuring the maximum induction in the steel, the retained austenite content can be estimated, which is responsible for the TRIP effect in the steel.

P-218 KNOWLEDGE ATTITUDE PRACTICE (KAP) TO HEPATITIS B VIRUS (HBV) AMONG HCWS (HCW) IN SALEM DISTRICT, TAMIL NADU, INDIA
Abstract Introduction India harbors over 40 million HBV carriers. HCWs are routinely exposed to HBV through patients. We studied the KAP of HCWs to HBV in Salem District, South India. Methodology: An observatory cum comparative study was conducted in 2021-22 on 278 HCWs employed in government and private sectors in suburban and rural settings. They took a pretested KAP questionnaire (from a similar study at Lao PDR), with regional modification. Option of anonymity was offered. HCWs other than those practicing allopathic medicine and doctors were eliminated. Six sigma tools were used to validate the study. Results Knowledge of HBV vaccination & PEP was high among HCWs in government sector (86.3%) compared to the private sectors (54.2%). Of the 54.2% in the private sector 65.7% worked in NABH accredited hospitals. Only 48.74% of the HCWs who had knowledge of vaccination in both sectors had completed 3 doses, 15.16% were partially vaccinated. There was a very low level of PEP practice with only 3.93% of all respondents having taken PEP following needle stick injury. Discussion Knowledge level was unsatisfactory among the HCWs in unorganized private sector. Among those with awareness about the infection and of HBV vaccination, less than half reported full vaccination. PEP practices were minimal. Government sector HCWs completed their vaccinations due to easier access. Conclusion Measures need to be taken to educate the unorganized private sector. HBV vaccinations could be provided as a mandatory part of the healthcare qualification structure. This can mitigate the occupational risk of HBV among HCWs and onward transmission to patients.
