Businesses are increasingly being forced to adopt transformative strategies in order to remain viable and competitive in an era of post-pandemic economic restructuring, globalization, and rapid technological advancement. This study examines the relationships between economic development, human resource management (HRM), and business process re-engineering (BPR). It draws attention to the ways in which these three fields complement one another to enhance organizational effectiveness and overall socioeconomic development. The research investigates how initiatives for radical process redesign, when effectively supported by strategic HRM practices such as employee engagement, performance management, talent development, and change management, can improve operational efficiency, innovation, and productivity. It uses recent literature (2020–2026) to achieve this. Through enhanced competitiveness, job creation, and human capital development, the study also looks at the connection between macroeconomic growth and better organizational performance. Using a qualitative and conceptual research design based on a thorough literature review and theme analysis, the study develops an integrative framework that links BPR, HRM, and economic outcomes. According to the findings, process innovation and human capital development must be coordinated for sustained economic growth, and human-centered management strategies are essential for successful business re-engineering initiatives. The study advances management theory and offers helpful guidance for decision-makers and organizational leaders who wish to encourage long-term economic growth through organizational change by fusing strategic HRM and process re-engineering points of view.
