The Tonle Sap Lake and the Mekong River are the main water sources in Cambodia. Recently, industrial activities have led to growth in Cambodia’s economy. The dumping of factory waste and garbage into water bodies causes water pollution. This paper introduces Water Quality Monitoring Based on Cellular Communication, integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT), which provides real-time data on water quality over long distances, and enhancing water management. The system incorporates cellular communication and crucial parameters such as potential of Hydrogen (pH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Turbidity, and Temperature. These parameters are combined in each node, which inspects the water quality and transmits the information via the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) system to the main system. The data are sent from Main to Amazon Web Services (AWS) to be stored and allow users to access AWS to request information. Thus, users obtain the data through smartphone applications, providing easy access to the information.
