The development of modern society makes people put higher requirements on furniture products, which results people in selecting furniture always taking a long time, and the use of the furniture always encounters unanticipated problems. Furniture style, aesthetics and practicality, space utilization, and so on have become the main problems people consider, so this paper mainly discusses the practicality and artistry of furniture and extends it to the future for prediction. To further explore the compatibility of furniture and the environment, this paper uses the method of literature review to study the history of the development of furniture, different styles, and design methods, and through representative case study examples, to draw the importance of furniture design and practicality in the home, and to explore the use of furniture and the development of matching aspects of the direction of the furniture, such as the furniture with internet and furniture producing with more environmentally friendly materials.

This study will explore the resilience and stability of financial networks under major shocks, which will be analyzed by reviewing the facts in situations such as the 2008 financial crisis and the research analysis of prominent scholars. One of the main results is that the types of financial networks most susceptible to contagious failures change dramatically as the magnitude or number of negative shocks exceeds a certain threshold. In particular, more financial connectivity is no longer a guarantee of stability. Conversely, interbank liabilities can fuel financial contagion and create a more vulnerable system in the event of a large shock. The results show that in large-scale shocks, “weakly connected” financial networks - for example, those consisting of a pair of connected banks that share a minimal amount of assets and liabilities with the rest of the system - are much more stable than more complete networks. This paper puts forward the consideration of financial network stability, which helps financial networks maintain stability in the face of potential financial shocks to a certain extent.

Residue theorem is a useful tool for studying complex variable function. Residue theorem can be widely used in various disciplines, and it helps people solve a lot of practical problems. The residue theorem plays an important role in both mathematics and physics. It can not only make integral easier, but also solve problems that related to thermodynamics, optics, and electricity. In practice, it is usually complicated to solve the definite integral by using substitution, partial integration method and so on. Although these methods can calculate the solution, the computational workload is too large and complex. Using residue theorem to transform integral formulas can help people solve integrals easily. The method of using the residue theorem to solve the integral is more convenient than some traditional methods. In this paper, some applications of residue theorem are introduced. Further, it also gives some examples for calculating the integral by using residue theorem and logarithmic residue theorem.

To this day, euthanasia remains a topic of lively discussion. The debate over whether it should be practiced or not never stops. This paper presents basic information about euthanasia and analyzes different people's views on euthanasia in the context of religious beliefs and philosophical ideas based on moral psychology. People who grow up in different cultures will have different views on euthanasia. This paper argues that Catholicism, Christianity, and traditional Confucianism are associated with the central idea of deontology (absolute regularity) and tend to reject euthanasia. In contrast, Taoism is associated with the central idea of utilitarianism (the pursuit of the greatest happiness of mankind) and tends to accept the practice of euthanasia. Various ideas have their reasons for rejecting or accepting the practice of euthanasia, each of which thoroughly explains their respective claims. Each idea also has its staunch followers. But regardless of the view one supports, one should be cautious regarding issues related to their own life.

Abstract The Raman spectroscopy analysis technique has found extensive applications across various disciplines due to its exceptional convenience and efficiency, facilitating the analysis and identification of diverse substances. In recent years, owing to the escalating demand for high-efficiency analytical methods, deep learning models have progressively been introduced into the realm of Raman spectroscopy. However, the application of these models to portable Raman spectrometers has posed a series of challenges due to the computational intensity inherent to deep learning approaches. This research addresses this challenge by introducing a lightweight Raman spectroscopy classification model named RepDwNet. This model not only maintains high accuracy but also exhibits relatively lower computational overhead. Its design integrates advanced techniques, including multi-scale convolutional kernels, depthwise separable convolutions, and residual connections. These modules effectively capture features across varying scales while maximizing the coherence between them.To validate the feasibility and efficacy of the proposed model, a series of experiments were conducted utilizing an augmented Raman spectroscopy dataset from blood samples for species identification tasks. The experimental outcomes demonstrate that the model achieved remarkable accuracy rates of 98.24% and 97.37% on the reflectance and transmittance Raman blood data subsets, respectively. Furthermore, structural reparameterization techniques were employed to compress the model, thereby significantly enhancing inference speed and reducing model parameter size while preserving high classification accuracy. This optimization renders the model more suitable for deployment in portable device scenarios.

Stigma carried out by housewives is rarely well-studied. There is a lack of awareness of housewives’ stigma in academia. Few kinds of research relate to housewives’ stigma. This research focuses on the stigma of housewives, the consequence of experiencing stigma, and how to eliminate the stigma. This research places attention on “How does the stigma influence housewives and how to eliminate the stigma”. The study is carried out by a quantitative interview with housewives and the information collected online. The study first talks about the current stigma suffered by housewives and then discuss the impact on housewives. At last, the study also provides some feasible solutions to the problem, including propaganda depending on mass media and recreational works. This study would like to provide the academia with some information about housewife’s stigma and try to eliminate the stigma as much as possible to provide housewives with a more comfortable atmosphere.

The debates over the results of elections have been a controversial topic over past decades. Drawing on the political philosophies of Machiavelli and Foucault, this paper argues that while elections can provide a mechanism for the expression of popular will, they are also deeply embedded in structures of power that limit their ability to truly reflect the desires and needs of the electorate. Through an analysis of historical and contemporary case studies, it is explored how elections can be manipulated and distorted by various actors, including elites, media, and technology. While elections can be an important tool for democracy, they must be approached with a critical and nuanced understanding of their limitations and potential pitfalls.

The acquisition between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard shocked the whole world for its huge amount and, mostly, potential huge impact on the development of some influential industries. Thus, further analysis has been done in this passage with latest statistics. An objective description on the prospect of the acquisition is also involved. The results come out as that, for both parts, entrepreneurs' personal willingness has a role to play in the decision-making process of an enterprise's developing strategy. Meanwhile, the attractiveness of the counterpart is even more powerful to influence the attitude of the decision-maker, as it is about what benefits the acquisition can bring to the company. To conclude, after careful balance, the acquisition will accelerate the promotion of the merged enterprise if the joint leader can successfully union the original two separate companies.

In the Internet era, data is occupying an increasingly important position, and some important data may even affect the country.More and more people demand that big data correlating with national security and social stability be treated as public goods which hold the characteristics of non-excludable and nonrivalrous. However, due to the economic attribute of big data, we proposes that this type of big data is excludable and non-rivalrous, and should be treated as quasi-public goods. To support this point of view, we quoted two examples, DiDi Chuxing and Cambridge analytics, and give solutions respectively. We believes that the government, as a public service provider, should supervises the use of big data rather than the content of big data.It not only protects the private rights of enterprises to data, but also avoids big data leaks that threaten national security.

Cyber-physical-social systems (CPSS) encompassing the cyber, physical and social worlds and the integrations among them, such as Industrial Internet of Things, has, as one of its main purposes, the provision of intelligent services for humans. For CPSS, the rapid development of smart devices with their increasing computational and storage capabilities makes them an attractive and innovative computing model for edge computing between the CPSS and cloud computing. The intelligent edge services (IES) has revolutionized almost every aspect of daily life. However, to realize highly efficient IES provisions in CPSS, important constraints, such as the execution time with security level, price, and energy consumption, should be considered in edge computing. In addition, the systematic integration of these constraints and the general optimization modeling for edge computing is very challenging. In this article, we propose a comprehensive optimization model for IES provision. To demonstrate the merits of the proposed computing and optimization model, a case study is presented.
