The article provides the analysis of the results of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition for Pupils and Student Youth in 2018-2022. The methods of the quantitative analysis were used to determine the number of participants and winners of the competition (diplomas of I, II, and III degree) in each region of Ukraine, as well as among the foreign participants. It was found that over the past 5 years, 3,384 people from 24 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv participated in the language and literature competition. The winners were 1,636 people, which is 48.3% of the total number of participants. It was found that 240 participants from 16 countries around the world took part in the competition. The obtained results will allow us to identify the regions of Ukraine and its international partners who actively participated in the competition; Departments of Education and Science of Ukraine will be able to popularize the Ukrainian language and enhance the involvement of gifted youth in intellectual competitions. The further research will provide the quantitative analysis of participants who are going to take part in All-Ukrainian competitions in 2023-2024 academic years.

The integration of Ukrainian higher education into the European educational area is a key condition for its reform and development. It provides for the activation of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the field of higher education, harmonization of higher education systems, deepening of cooperation between higher education institutions of different countries, increasing the quality and importance of higher education in social processes, expanding the autonomy of universities and participation in academic mobility programs. The model of the European integration of higher education in Ukraine was developed. It can be used by other countries, taking into account the national features of their educational systems. The completeness of the adopted decisions and implemented measures regarding the modernization of the structure of higher education and the National Framework of Qualifications, the introduction of modern standards and educational programs, the principles and mechanisms of their development and implementation, compliance with European norms of organisation of educational process were studied and evaluated. The process of development the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance as the key element of the quality system was analyzed. It has been established that all measures are carried out according to European practices and are consistent with the goals set by the Strategy for the Development of Higher Education in Ukraine in 2022-2032. These are significant steps towards improving the quality of Ukrainian higher education. It was determined that certain components of European integration are still in the process of implementation. It was emphasized that significant efforts will be required to rebuild Ukraine as a whole, to restore and develop higher education, in particular, in the postwar period in connection with the losses incurred because of the aggression of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the research is to find out the modern features of studying the Ukrainian language by students from Ukraine and to propose ways and means to improve the effectiveness of this process. The following research methods were used: theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the issue; processing, analysis and comparison of statistical data; survey of headmasters of general secondary education institutions and students; classification and generalization of the survey results; graphic methods. The dynamics of changes in the number of students from Ukraine who are studying (were studying) in the Ukrainian language and the number of relevant educational institutions in Ukraine were monitored. Particular attention is paid to the features of studying Ukrainian by students who, because of the war, are living abroad now. The article analyzes the features of studying the Ukrainian language as a state language, and the identified cases of changing the language of studying. The current study investigates the discrepancies between the teachers’ assessment of the students’ level of the Ukrainian language proficiency and the students’ self-assessment. The authors propose the ways and means for improving the effectiveness of studying the Ukrainian language and raising the level of students’ mastery of the state language are proposed.

У світі стрімко впроваджуються інноваційні технології у закладах освіти. До них належать технології віртуальної та доповненої реальності. Вони слугують новітнім підходом до викладу та засвоєння матеріалу здобувачами освіти. Стаття досліджує перспективи застосування технології віртуальної реальності (virtual reality, VR) в контексті освіти з акцентом на індивідуалізоване навчання. В роботі обговорюються методологічні виклики, що виникають у процесі впровадження VR в освітній процес, такі як педагогічна стратегія, дизайн навчального контенту та оцінювання успішності. Мета статті полягає в обґрунтуванні можливостей і подальших перспектив застосування технології віртуальної реальності в освітньому процесі закладів освіти України. Було визначено доцільність використання цієї технології, розглянуто найпоширеніші та найдоступніші додатки, що ґрунтуються на VR, проаналізовано доречність їх впровадження в освітній процес. Було виявлено й охарактеризовано основні переваги застосування методів віртуальної реальності та технічне забезпечення, що необхідне для їх впровадження. В дослідженні також висвітлено можливості, які віртуальна реальність відкриває для індивідуалізації навчання, включаючи створення інтерактивних сценаріїв, персоналізованих завдань та посилення мотивації і зацікавленості здобувачів освіти. Результати дослідження сприяють кращому розумінню впливу технології VR на освітній процес та визначають стратегії для успішного впровадження цієї технології в індивідуалізованому навчанні. 
\nПозитивними аспектами використання віртуальної реальності в освітньому процесі було визначено: значно краще засвоєння матеріалу, збільшення зацікавленості здобувачів, створення найбільш реалістичних умов для вирішення різноманітних задач. 
\nПотенціал віртуальної реальності як інструмент для персоналізації та оптимізації освітнього процесу величезний, а також необхідний для подальших досліджень та максимального використання цієї технології у сфері освіти.

This article analyses the technical and methodological aspects of implementing individualised curricula using artificial intelligence in the educational process. The study deals in detail with the issues of technological infrastructure, data collection, and processing, as well as the integration of individualised programmes with existing educational platforms. The methodological aspect of the article includes an analysis of methods for determining the needs and capabilities of each student and the development of a methodology for assessing the success of individualised programmes. The study aims to uncover the potential and benefits associated with the utilization of personalized programs in contemporary education. This is done with the intention of enhancing the overall learning experience and attaining superior outcomes for every individual student and pupil. Future areas of research include further development of technical solutions for individualised programmes, studying methodological approaches to adapting programmes to the needs of different categories of student, and developing ethical standards for protecting personal data in education. This article will be useful for teachers, higher education institutions, researchers, and anyone interested in using artificial intelligence to individualise learning and improve education. It offers important discoveries and practical recommendations for implementing individualised programmes in the educational process.

The article analyzes the specifics of the teacher's innovative activity. The views of domestic and foreign scientists regarding the interpretation of the concepts of pedagogical innovation and innovative activity were analyzed. Indicators of the teacher's readiness for innovative pedagogical activity are substantiated. The results of the study of teachers' attitude to innovations are also described. The purpose of the study is to analyze the essence and specifics of the teacher's innovative activity. This article describes that the innovative activity of teachers enriches pedagogical activity with new ideas, new content, and new technologies, it is specific and quite complex, and therefore requires special knowledge, skills, and abilities. The introduction of innovations in education is impossible without a teacher-researcher who possesses systemic thinking, a developed capacity for creativity, and a formed and conscious readiness for innovations. Innovative teachers of this type are called teachers with innovative thinking. It is emphasized that modern society needs new type of pedagogical specialists who are able to think systematically and constructively, quickly find the necessary information, make the right decisions, and produce fundamentally new ideas in various pedagogical directions. Solving this task requires new approaches, creative thinking, and a different attitude of the teacher towards his work. The need for innovative pedagogical activity from the point of view of education reform is determined by certain circumstances: firstly, Ukraine's entry into the humanitarian context of world civilization necessitated a radical change in the educational system, methodology and technology of the educational process in educational institutions of Ukraine. The structure of the teacher's innovative activity, which is manifested in the formation of components: motivational; technological; valeological; reflective; informational (which characterizes the informational culture of the innovative teacher and the effectiveness of his informational activity).

The article is devoted to the selection and research of factors for increasing the competitiveness of higher education within the framework of the concept of sustainable development of the state. The theoretical and methodological basis of this research is the fundamental provisions of management, social sciences, economic theory, as well as a wide range of general scientific and special research methods, including the system method, the method of analysis and synthesis, the method of induction and deduction, the graphic method, and others. It has been proven that one of the essential problems of the higher education system in the context of ensuring sustainable development at the stage of its transformation is increasing competitiveness. The study of this definition made it possible to reflect the view on its understanding and revealed the dependence of this category on many factors, such as: political, socio-economic, socio-cultural, demographic, normative-legal and innovative-technological, which act in a complex manner, exerting a systemic influence.

The problem that is solved in the research is to increase the efficiency of assessing the state of the monitoring object while ensuring the given reliability, regardless of the hierarchy of the monitoring object. The object of research is decision support systems. The subject of the research is the process of evaluating the monitoring object using bio-inspired algorithms. The hypothesis of the research is the need to increase the efficiency of the assessment of the state of the monitoring object with the given reliability. In the course of the research, an improved method of increasing the efficiency of decision-making based on bio-inspired algorithms was proposed. General provisions of artificial intelligence theory were used to solve the problem of analyzing the object state in intelligent decision support systems. The essence of improvement is to use the following procedures: − taking into account the type of uncertainty about the state of the monitoring object (full uncertainty, partial uncertainty and full awareness); − taking into account the degree of noise in the data on the state of the monitoring object. Noise refers to the degree of information distortion created by the enemy’s means of electronic and cyber warfare; − using the ant colony optimization algorithm and the genetic algorithm to find the path metric while assessing the state of the monitoring object; − deep learning of synthesized ants using evolving artificial neural networks. An example of using the proposed method in assessing the state of the operational situation of a group of troops (forces) is presented. The specified example showed a 15−22 % increase in the efficiency of data processing using additional improved procedures

The purpose of the article was to study the processes of state regulation of the higher education system in Ukraine in the context of ensuring the autonomy of universities. General and special scientific methods were used in the research process. It was determined that the target priorities of the regulation of higher education system development are: a) regulatory influences on higher education institutions; b) promotion of the level of investment attractiveness of the higher education system; c) optimization of the use of limited financial resourcesn and; d) improvement of approaches to distribution of state orders for personnel training for the national economy, which further includes: state financing of research works carried out by higher education institutions. In conclusion, it has been proved that in order to ensure modernization changes in the higher education system, it is necessary to stimulate enterprises to cooperate with universities in the spheres of education and scientific research; to stimulate the inflow of investment resources from the business sector into the higher education system and to improve specific financial support tools for higher education institutions and enterprises developing cooperation with universities.
