Effect of Different Date of Planting and Various Mulching Practices on Growth, Yield Attributes and Yield of Potato
The present research work was conducted at Pili kothi farm, Department of Agronomy, Tilak Dhari Post Graduate College, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh during winter season of 2018 and 2019. The experiment was laid out in Factorial Randomized Block Design. The treatments comprised of different planting dates viz. 20 days early planting on 17th October, 10 days early planting on 27th October, Optimum planting time on 7th November, 10 days late planting on 17th November and 20 days late planting on 27th November and different mulching practices viz. Organic mulch (Paddy straw at 5 t/ha), Plastic mulch (Black colour) and Control (Without mulch) of potato. There were 15 treatments and each were replicated to four folds. These treatments were randomly arranged in each replication and divided into sixty plots. The results revealed that the significantly maximum emergence percentage 30 Days after planting (92.70, 94.30 and 93.50), Plant height (cm) at 45 DAP (40.40 cm, 42.20 cm and 41.30 cm), Numbers of compound leaves/hill at 45 DAP (57.10, 57.40 and 57.30), Number of tubers/plot (603.80, 640.00 and 621.90), Weight of tubers/plot (kg) (37.20, 37.80 and 37.50) and Number of tubers/plant (10.10, 10.70 and 10.40) were recorded under 20 Days Early Planting On 17th October among different planting dates during first, second and mean data also. Whereas among the mulching practices significant variation were recorded among the all parameter except number of compound leaves. However maximum emergence percentage 30 DAP (90.20, 91.60 and 90.90), Plant height (cm) at 45 DAP (35.70 cm, 37.50 cm and 36.60 cm), Numbers of compound leaves/hill at 45 DAP (53.70, 54.20 and 53.90), Number of tubers/plot (513.00, 552.80 and 532.90), Weight of tubers/plot (kg) (34.10, 34.60 and 34.30) and Number of tubers/plant (8.60, 9.20 and 8.90) under the organic mulch (paddy straw at 5 t/ha) respectively, during first, second as well as in mean data also.

The present research is based on the hypothesis that foliar spray of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) or application of biofertilizers such as vascular arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) or arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSBs) are more efficient than generally used chemical fertilizers supplementation such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and supplementation of zinc (Zn).In this study, six mustard varieties, Brassica juncea var. Alankar, Pusa Jai Kisan, Varuna, Sakha, Rohini, and Pusa Bold were tested for their comparative growth responses. Out of the six tested varieties, only two screened varieties (Alankar and Rohini) were further tested for their comparative growth responses among the foliar spray of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs), soil-applied chemical fertilizers to supplement nitrogen (N) phosphorus (P) and zinc (Zn) as zinc sulfate and soil-applied biofertilizers as phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSBs) and vascular arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) or arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF).The results revealed that out of these three treatments, ZnO NPs significantly (p≤0.05) increased the growth morphology of the two mustard varieties, followed by VAM/AMF and PSBs, which were followed by chemical supplementation of N, P, and Zn. The effects were more pronounced in Alankar than in the Rohini variety of mustard. From the present study, it is concluded thatfoliar spray of ZnO NPs and application of biofertilizers can be a potent alternative of costly chemical fertilizers in the cultivation of mustardcrops.

The present investigation was conducted by taking 137 genotype of bread wheat with 4 checks in Randomize Block Design for the study of correlation and path coefficient analysis. The observations were recorded on 13 quantitative characters. The grain yield per plant exhibited highly significant and positive correlation with biological yield per plant (0.31) followed by harvest index (0.18) and 1000-grain weight (0.11). The highest positive direct effect on grain yield per plant was exerted by biological yield per plant (0.30) followed by 1000-grain weight (0.16), harvest-index (0.13), tillers per plant (0.10), grains per spike (0.08), days to maturity (0.02) and peduncle length (0.01). Thus, biological yield per plant, harvest index and 1000-grain weight can be utilized for selection of elite genotypes with better grain yield.

Tissue culture is a highly promising approach that enables the efficient propagation of many plants from tiny fragments of the parent plant within a relatively brief timeframe and confined area. Tissue culture, a contemporary approach, is primarily employed for the efficient and extensive replication of many commercially significant plant species, such as the date palm. Utilizing the tissue culture technique presents a potential approach for generating a substantial quantity of genetically homogeneous palm plants that resemble other plants and yield typical fruit within four years from initial planting. Furthermore, this technique allows to produce date palm plants devoid of diseases, exhibiting an exceptionally high survival rate of nearly 100% when compared to the traditional vegetative propagation of shoots, owing to the robustness of their root system. The process of surface sterilization holds significant importance in the production of explants for in vitro studies, as it effectively addresses the issue of bacterial and fungal contamination originating from field sources, which might vary considerably across different fruit plant species. The efficacy of tissue culture techniques for date palm acclimatization in vitro is contingent upon the observation of leaf count prior to transplantation in the greenhouse. Hence, the primary objective of this study was to investigate the determinants that govern the tissue culture of fruit trees. India is known for being the native land of various fruit crops that are both significant and minor in terms of their importance. These crops include Indian gooseberry (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.), Karonda (Carissa carandas L.), Bael (Aegle marmelos Corr.), Jamun (Syzygium cuminii L.), and jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus L.), etc. These fruits possess considerable nutritional, medicinal, and therapeutic value, making them highly valuable in commercial sectors such as medicine, food, and cosmetics. The limited availability of suitable planting materials imposes constraints on the commercial production process for these crops. Using plant tissue culture techniques holds promise in substantially augmenting the number of novel cultivars or genotypes inside fruit crops. The primary aim of this review study is to consolidate and synthesize the extant body of knowledge about the tissue culture techniques employed in cultivating various fruit crops.

Are India and Israel Natural Allies or Strategic Partners?
Natural allies share common political and cultural values. Strategic partners may share none of these similarities, but a common goal or an agenda. Israel President said that Israel and India are natural allies, but when we go through meaning of these types of relationship, we find that there are some similarities between both nations, but we can’t say that these similarities make them a natural ally. But Both nations have common goal to grow their economy and protect their people. So, we can say that India and Israel are strategic partner. We can see this in their relation. There is a close and substantial political, military, and economic tie between India and Israel. Despite India's official recognition of Israel in 1950, the two nations didn't establish full diplomatic relations until January 29th, 1992.The relationship remained unofficial during the period from India's recognition of Israel in 1950 to the beginning of the 1990s. Israel did not oppose India's 1998 nuclear test and took India's side in the Kargil war. Israel has not only given India state-of-the-art weapons but is also making weapons together as mentioned above. Israel is cooperating in India's internal security. Israel is strengthening India in the field of agriculture and irrigation by giving modern technology to India. India's trade with Israel is increasing continuously. Both countries are continuously increasing investment in each other's country. Even in international organizations, both the countries are seen cooperating with each other. A new organization I2A2 has been created in which both the countries are involved. People of both countries like each other. So, we can say that a strategic partnership has been formed between the two countries.
