This article examines Indonesia’s autogate policy not only as a digital service innovation, but as a component of immigration system resilience. Drawing on policy implementation theory by Edwards III, Sabatier & Mazmanian, e-government literature on the design reality gap, system resilience thinking, and the information security CIA triad, the study analyses how autogate is designed, regulated, and operated at major international airports. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on documentary and literature review, it maps legal foundations, organizational arrangements, and technical narratives surrounding automated border control. The findings show that autogate has improved processing times, standardized procedures, and strengthened traceability through digital logs, thereby supporting efficiency, accountability, and internal control. However, recurrent system downtime, biometric errors, incomplete system integration, and heavy dependence on infrastructure reveal significant vulnerabilities in confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. Fragmented governance across immigration, airport operators, cybersecurity, and communications authorities reinforces a design–reality gap, limiting coordination, local ownership, and adaptive capacity. The article concludes that autogate currently functions as a double-edged innovation, symbolizing digital modernization while only partially reinforcing immigration system resilience. It recommends clearer mandates, stronger cross-sector coordination, improved data governance, and investment in human resources and risk-based oversight to align automated border control with a more robust, rights-sensitive model of digital immigration governance.

This quasi-experimental study used a single-group pretest/posttest design to evaluate the effectiveness of an animated video intervention on oral hygiene behaviors among 34 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The animated educational video was administered 15 times over five weeks. Data were collected using parental questionnaires and observational checklists. Significant improvements in oral hygiene maintenance behaviors were observed post-intervention. The results showed that 91.18%, 94.12%, and 85.29% of participants brushed twice daily, used fluoride toothpaste, and reduced soft drink consumption, respectively. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test confirmed statistically significant positive changes in five out of seven measured behaviors (p<0.05), with an overall effectiveness rate of 85.3%. Visible behavioral improvements were documented starting from the 16th day of the intervention. In conclusion, animated video modeling is an effective, evidence-based tool for enhancing dental health behaviors in children with ASD.

This study analyzes the influence of social media use by legislative candidates in Bogor Regency, focusing on the personal branding strategies of Hasan Haikal Thalib and Santi Yuliawati Sandali in the 2024 Election. Despite their efforts, both candidates from PPP and PKB have not significantly improved their popularity or electability, remaining behind fellow party candidates Ramli (PPP) and Fuad Al Anshori (PKB). The research aims to examine how these candidates utilize Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp to construct their personal branding in political campaigns. Adopting a qualitative paradigm with a constructivist perspective and case study approach, the study applies three stages of data analysis: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that both candidates employ social media strategies centered on presenting themselves as community-oriented leaders. Their branding highlights concern for MSMEs, gender equality, religious values, and strong engagement with diverse social groups, including religious figures, mass organizations, and local communities. Through visual content such as videos and photos, they seek to create memorable campaign moments that reinforce their identity. Overall, the study underscores how personal branding through social media serves as a key yet insufficient factor in shaping political competitiveness in local elections.

This study examines protest dynamics in Indonesia from 2014 to 2024, analyzing patterns of collective action across five distinct actor categories: political parties, societal groups, labor unions, civil society organizations, and students. Drawing on comprehensive protest data from the Indonesian National Police, we identify key temporal patterns, triggering events, and actor-specific mobilization trends. Our findings reveal three significant protest waves (2014, 2016-2017, and 2020) corresponding to electoral cycles, economic reforms, and contentious legislation. Analysis demonstrates that different actor groups respond to distinct mobilizing factors: political parties to electoral opportunities, labor unions to economic reforms, students to democratic concerns, and civil society to governance issues. The study contributes to social movement theory by providing empirical evidence of how political opportunity structures, resource mobilization, and frame alignment manifest in an emerging democratic context. These findings enhance understanding of contentious politics in Indonesia and offer insights into the evolving nature of democratic participation in Southeast Asia.

This research aims to analyze the phenomenon filter bubble on Instagram and its impact on lifestyle changes and social interactions of teenagers aged 16-20 years in Palembang. Instagram, as a visual-based social media platform, uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to customize and filter content according to user preferences, which can influence user thought patterns, attitudes and behavior. In this research, a qualitative approach was used with literature study methods and content analysis. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teenagers in Palembang who actively use Instagram. The research results show that filter bubble influencing teenagers in adopting lifestyle trends, especially in terms of appearance and beauty, such as the use of makeup which often appears in Instagram feeds. In addition, this phenomenon also contributes to the formation of homogeneous social groups, where teenagers are more likely to interact with individuals who have similar interests, while different views tend to be ignored. Based on Information Integration Theory, this research explains that information received via social media, which is filtered by the Instagram algorithm, shapes teenagers attitudes and behavior. The conclusion of this research is that the phenomenon filter bubble has a significant impact on the development of teenagers lifestyles and social interactions, which has the potential to narrow their horizons to various perspectives. Therefore, better digital literacy is needed to help teenagers be more critical in consuming information on social media.

This study aims to examine the direct influence of compensation, employee performance, and organizational commitment, as well as the indirect influence of compensation and competence, mediated by organizational commitment, at the Gerindra Party Branch Office in Demak Regency. This is due to several factors, including the substandard quality of human resources, as evidenced by the presence of the smart system, which has led to poor employee performance. Employee competencies in skills, knowledge, and attitude are still relatively low, given that most employees have a high school education background compared to diploma and bachelor's degrees. Compensation related to bonuses received by these employees is very low, impacting their performance. Difficulty using the smart system application has resulted in a decline in legislative candidate performance in increasing both candidate and party votes. Employee organizational commitment is suboptimal. The research method used is an associative quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population in this study was all 70 employees of the Demak Branch Office. The sampling technique was saturated sampling. The data collection process used a questionnaire administered to 70 respondents. This study employed linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that compensation significantly influences employee performance. Competence significantly influences employee performance, organizational commitment significantly influences employee performance, compensation significantly influences organizational commitment, competence significantly influences organizational commitment, organizational commitment can mediate the effect of compensation on competence, and organizational commitment can mediate the effect of competence on employee performance
