Existing green marketing research largely conceptualizes Green Purchase Value (GPV) as the outcome of stable cognitive evaluations driven by environmental attitudes, social norms, and identity-based considerations. This approach overlooks how deeper, context-sensitive motivational systems may dynamically shape value construction, particularly in symbolic product categories such as cosmetics and within emerging markets. Addressing this theoretical gap, this study reconceptualizes GPV as a motivationally constructed outcome by integrating fundamental motives theory from evolutionary psychology into the sustainability marketing framework. Using a quantitative survey of 170 Generation Z consumers in Indonesia and analyzing the data with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS 4, this study examines the effects of six fundamental motives, kin care, mate acquisition, mate retention, self-protection, group affiliation, and status seeking on GPV in the context of green cosmetics. The results reveal that group affiliation, mate acquisition, and self-protection exert significant positive effects on GPV, while kin care, mate retention, and status seeking do not. Theoretically, this study advances the GPV literature by demonstrating that value formation in green consumption is driven by adaptive social and protective motives rather than purely cognitive or identity-based evaluations. Practically, the findings suggest that green cosmetic brands should emphasize health protection narratives and community-based, lifestyle-oriented positioning to resonate with Generation Z consumers in emerging markets

This study investigates the traditional Dusung agroforestry system of the Airlouw Hamlet community in Nusaniwe District, Ambon City, focusing on its ecology and productivity as a sustainable source of food commodities. The research employs a review of the Dusung system's capacity to meet the daily subsistence needs of the local community through its regular and continuous management. Data were collected using a census of 30 Dusung managers, incorporating both primary data (direct observation and interviews) and secondary sources (literature and existing reports). Analysis was conducted descriptively using both quantitative (productivity metrics) and qualitative (management practices) methods. The findings indicate that the high productivity and yield potential of the Dusung system are critically dependent on the optimal ecological management practices implemented by the farmers. The traditional system, characterized by a mix of agricultural commodities and livestock integration, functions as a primary source of food for the Airlouw community. However, the study reveals that the size of the Dusung plot does not linearly correlate with the actual commodity yield. Therefore, optimizing the system hinges on enhancing management strategies rather than merely expanding land area.

The rapid digital transformation requires human resources (HR) to adapt to various new technologies in the work environment. This research aims to analyze the level of readiness of human resources in facing the implementation of digital technology, identify the digital competencies needed, and formulate relevant training strategies based on actual needs. The research method employed was a descriptive, quantitative approach using a survey of 120 respondents from the service and public administration sectors. The results show that HR readiness levels vary, with younger generations and operational job positions exhibiting higher readiness than senior generations and top-level management. The most essential digital competencies include basic digital literacy, data analysis skills, software utilization for work, cybersecurity, and digital communication. The primary implication of these findings is the need for initial competency mapping and the implementation of need-based training to address the challenges of digital transformation effectively. The study also identified implementation barriers, including budget constraints, resistance to change, and lack of top management support. These findings make a crucial contribution to the development of adaptive and sustainable HR strategies in the digital era.

Sustainable tourism plays a pivotal role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in emerging economies such as Indonesia. This study conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) to evaluate the extent to which Indonesia’s public tourism policies align with the SDGs framework. Using the PICOC model and PRISMA guidelines, 51 peer-reviewed articles published between 2014 and 2024 were analysed. The findings reveal that while regulatory, economic, and communication instruments have been widely adopted, persistent challenges such as governance fragmentation, inadequate stakeholder engagement, technological underutilisation, and limited institutional capacity undermine their effectiveness. The study highlights partial alignment with key SDGs, notably Goals 8, 11, 12, 13, and 17, but also identifies critical gaps in policy integration and monitoring. It concludes by recommending strengthened cross-sectoral coordination, participatory policy-making, technological innovation, and capacity building as pathways toward enhancing the strategic alignment of tourism governance with sustainable development objectives in Indonesia.

Farming on large tracts of land in Indonesia is very difficult. This is because land is already being used for residential areas, which are increasing annually, and industrial development is increasing. Currently, the younger generation in Indonesia is not interested in agriculture, considering that agricultural yields are very low and do not guarantee a future. The existence of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and the assistance of IoT, a network of connected objects within AI, synergizes with each other, resulting in technological discoveries, especially in the agricultural sector, that can help reduce labor and agricultural failure due to natural conditions. This precision farming technology can make a strategic contribution to achieving SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) in the smallholder agricultural sector. This can be summarized in three main pillars: Productivity, Resilience, and Economic Inclusion. Precision farming technology can be formulated as a transformation of human profitability because it goes beyond achieving production figures to improving living standards.
