ZusammenfassungWelche Bedeutung messen die Landesparteien der Waldpolitik bei? Welche Waldfunktionen priorisieren sie? Inwieweit sind ihre Positionen von Parteiendifferenzen geprägt? Um diese Forschungsfragen zu adressieren, führen wir eine textanalytische Auswertung von Landtagswahlprogrammen durch, die im Zeitraum von 1990 bis 2019 veröffentlicht wurden. Unsere Analysen zeigen, dass die Positionen der Parteien nicht nur vom regionalen Kontext geprägt, sondern auch Ausdruck fundamental unterschiedlicher Perspektiven auf die Waldpolitik sind. Wir stellen fest, dass linke Parteien, insbesondere B’90/Grüne, eine schutzorientierte Politik befürworten, wohingegen CDU/CSU und FDP deren nutzorientierte Ausrichtung unterstützen. Bemerkenswert ist ferner, dass die Parteien sehr unterschiedliches Gewicht auf das Politikfeld legen. Während sich CDU/CSU, FDP und die Grünen umfangreich mit Waldpolitik beschäftigen, messen ihr Die Linke, die SPD und vor allem die AfD weniger Bedeutung bei. Veränderungen im Zeitverlauf zeigen sich nur begrenzt: zwar widmen sich die Parteien dem Thema häufiger, es ist aber keine Positionsverschiebung feststellbar, die eine sich verändernde Perspektive auf die Waldpolitik widerspiegeln würde.

Die deutsche Volkswirtschaft befindet sich in einer der langsten Aufschwungphasen der Nachkriegszeit. Der Sachverstandigenrat fur Wirtschaft hat fur 2018 ein Wachstum des Bruttoinlandsprodukts von 1,6 % und fur 2019 von 1,5 % prognostiziert. Alle Wirtschaftsbereiche profitierten von der guten wirtschaftlichen Lage. Probleme hatte aber die Automobilindustrie. Sie steht vor tiefgreifenden Veranderungen und wird sowohl vom Brexit, als auch von der US-Handelspolitik am starksten beeintrachtigt. Die verschiedenen Wirtschaftsbereiche wunschen sich von der Bundesregierung niedrigere Steuern, Investitionen in die digitale Infrastruktur sowie hohere Ausgaben fur Forschung und Entwicklung.

This chapter discusses the costs of POCT analysis incurred mainly in the hospital setting while elucidating how important it is to account for cost items beyond those of the purely analytical process. Moreover, one subchapter presents the principles on which reimbursement of POCT services using the German healthcare system are based as an example.

Erfreuliche Wende im Ringen um den Auftrag zur Listenführung: GBRegG von Salzburg und Niederösterreich gestoppt!

The International Council of Chemical Associations' Long-Range Research Initiative (ICCA-LRI) sponsored a workshop, titled Twenty-First Century Approaches to Toxicity Testing, Biomonitoring, and Risk Assessment, on 16 and 17 June 2008 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The workshop focused on interpretation of data from the new technologies for toxicity testing and biomonitoring, and on understanding the relevance of the new data for assessment of human health risks. Workshop participants articulated their concerns that scientific approaches for interpreting and understanding the emerging data in a biologically relevant context lag behind the rapid advancements in the new technologies. Research will be needed to mitigate these lags and to develop approaches for communicating the information, even in a context of uncertainty. A collaborative, coordinated, and sustained research effort is necessary to modernize risk assessment and to significantly reduce current reliance on animal testing. In essence, this workshop was a call to action to bring together the intellectual and financial resources necessary to harness the potential of these new technologies towards improved public health decision making. Without investment in the science of interpretation, it will be difficult to realize the potential that the advanced technologies offer to modernize toxicity testing, exposure science, and risk assessment.
